The scarred teen watched with concerned eyes as Lily hastily walked out the back of the Center, with Brent reassuring them that she would be better off dealing with her troubles alone. "Yeah...Maybe. My problem is that we don't really know what happened to her."

A cold thing touched at his shoulder, and Devon turned his head to spot the source of the odd feeling behind him. It was a long, purple ribbon that lead to a Mismagius. One with a small claw mark at the tip of her 'hat'. A warm smile over took the experienced Trainer as he fully faced the ghost and hugged her. "Missy! I'm glad you're alright. I was starting to wonder why you were taking so long to get away from those jerks."

The Magical Pokémon's crooked lips contorted into a happy smile as she met her Trainer's embrace with an arm wrapping hug. <Yes, I'm alright....It took me some time to escape from the battle, as I was assisting another Trainer that appeared to combat that horrendous group. He and his Pokémon urged me to flee shortly after they arrived, and I did so when I felt it was safe for all of us.>

The nurse appeared back at the counter with the rest of his now treated team, announcing their conditions. The relived boy in hoodie walked up to the counter to retrieve the three spheres and wave back at the nurse. "Thank you!"

Coming back to Brent and Celes, the teen stuffed the Premier Ball and Safari Ball back into his pocket. Keeping the Great Ball in his hand just as another Trainer approached them. Looking over the pre-teen, Devon rolled the ball around in his palm and frowned. "We were pretty hard to miss huh? That Shaymin we rescued was being chased by these insane guys in straight up knight armor. Like stuff you'd see in old Unovian fairy tales." Smirking, he tossed Nasir's ball up and snatched it out the air. "We don't know what they want it for, but whatever it is it ain't good. So we battled them and Missy here helped us escape." He'd say as he gestured to the purple spectre near him, who gave a bow to the new boy.

The crying child did nothing to resist Celty's paw as it wiped at his face. New tears soon flowed out of his eyes that replaced the wiped ones however. Her comment made Devon go stiff for a moment, but thankfully she was kidding. Looking past the Mawile and out the door with a sort of lost frown, he sniffled. "Well, Spirit didn't really ask me to go to that meeting....Hopefully I can catch him after. I think I might just....Lay down for a bit longer. My head still feels like it's spinning from smashing my face into that tree yesterday."

Falling over onto his side into the hay bed, a sharp gasp followed by a groan of pain. "O-Ow. Not doing that again." Arching his back to curl up and grab his tail between his feet again, his teary gaze shifted back up to the Deceiver Pokémon. "You can go to it if you want. I'll be ok. Just have alot on my mind right now...."

The limping lizard caused Glyph to shake his head and frown. Still stubborn.... Quickly walking up behind the Generator Pokémon, the Guildmaster crouched slightly to put an arm on Robel's shoulder. "I certainly will Rhys."

The Expedition Leader's news did everything to bring down Glyph's mood once again. His wings, tail, and antennae drooping as he sighed and looked down at the ground. "O-Oh dear....Deeku has truly perished.....It is something I had considered since the sandstorms ceased, but I pushed it to the back of my mind due to how ridiculous it seemed."

Looking back up at the Electric-Normal type, his red 'goggles' were clouded in worry. "Perhaps it was Xicu that did the deed...But I cannot see a reason for why she would murder Deeku. She desires sanctuary from all that do not bow to her, so what would possess her to seek confrontation with a peaceful Tyranitar, one that does not even reside near her grounds?"

Shaking his head some, Glyph groaned. "It simply does not make sense. Were you two able to inspect the body well enough to maybe see how Deeku was killed? Claw or teeth marks? Any sort of clues near the corpse?"

Devon shifted around in the hay to face Celty as she asked him a few questions. His head tilting to the ground as he attempted to recall what went on in his head during the night. "I...I don't know. I remember I heard....Voices. That's it. Voices in my dreams....I don't know, if they were my friends and family or not...But..." A few tears started to gather up at the bottom of his brown eyes, before crashing over and dripping down his snout. "I couldn't hear what they were saying...I just knew they were worried about me..."

Sighing, he lifted up his once again wet face and sniffled a bit. "I just don't really want to do much of anything right now....I feel like crap in every way. But I have wanted to talk to Spirit about a few things since yesterday so I should probably catch him before he leaves again huh?"

Devon looked over to Celes with an understanding smile and hands in his pockets. Not really knowing what to think about Ranulf's hasty retreat. "It's ok Celes. We made it out ok, and if we had any trouble I still had Quill to bail us out."

The small blonde continued to pout about her chubby dragon, causing the crimson hooded teen to sigh. Looking over to Lily, he attempted to try to perhaps calm her again with a warm smile. "Yeah, the Center nurses'll fix Shaymin right up. You don't need to beat yourself up. If there's anything you need, I'll get it for ya."

Devon came grinding to a halt when Lilisette cried out, spinning around to face her with wide eyes. "Lilisette! Crap, hang on!" About to take off and free the partly frozen Kirlia, he also froze when he caught the still escaping thief in the side of his vision. A hard choice struck him. If I go and help Lilisette, he might get away....What should I do!? I want to help her but...If Ember loses that bag she'll have nothing left of her dad....

Thankfully he didn't need to really make the choice. Ember showed up in a literal streak of light to free their trapped friend with a few hot Embers. Giving the now trio with the addition of Selena shortly after a thumb up, Devon returned his attention to the fleeing Weavile as he sprinted full speed down the path. "This way guys!"

His brown eyes flashed to every angle around the thief as he continued to give chase, desperate to find something to slow the weasel down.I can't hit him with my Water Gun...I gotta find some other way to stop him.....Uh....Aha! There!

The Totodile visibly perked up as he saw the perfect tool just near a building. A stack of barrels were sitting on a very weak looking bench right near the road. Perfect....Aim for the legs...

Pulling his head back once again, [DEVON used WATER GUN!] A powerful stream of water blasted out of the small gator's maw and headed straight for the benches weak legs. The cold geyser of water impacted the wood structure, causing it to snap almost instantly. The barrels tumbled down from the bench and into the street, causing the Dark-type thief to have quite the difficult time getting around.

"OH SHIT!" Was all the criminal could muster as he quickly tried to avoid the many barrels rolling towards him to no avail. One of the brown cylinders smacked right into him and brought him along for the ride for a good few rolls. Face planting to the ground and taking a shaky stand, the Ice-type made a sluggish get-away as he stumbled out of the field of barrels. Now moving at a much slower pace. A prime target for the kids attacks.

Grinding for a second and jumping clear over one of the barrels as he made his way past, Devon hit the ground and kept running as he looked behind him and called back to his team mates. "Everyone, hit him with some ranged moves! All together!" Turning his head back to the thief, another jet of water came from between his jaws. The Water Gun directed to the dazed thief.

Sprinting as fast as his stubby legs could take him, Devon called ahead as he dodged the many much taller Pokémon in the crowd. "Not everyone has stilts for legs and can short range teleport ya know! I'm going as fast as I can!"

Lilisette gave a suggestion. Weather he could take advantage of it was a different issue. "I don't got a shot!" Ducking under someone's extremely fluffy tail, the Totodile finally broke free of the crowd as the duo trailed the thief into the Residential District. With a clear shot of the fleeing Weavile, he grinned and drifted his direction to line himself up with the weasel's back. Now I do.

Drawing in a breath and reeling his head back, [DEVON used WATER GUN!] Throwing it forwards to release a powerful stream of clear water towards the Weavile.

Looking over his shoulder at his unwanted guests, the Weavile rolled his eyes. "Aw, cute. The little Water-type did a Water Gun! Don't you feel special? Pfft. Try this one kid." Spinning around to run backwards and opening his maw to display a frosty white orb, [NAMELESS THIEF used ICE BEAM!] A blue and white icy beam blasted out of the cat's mouth and straight towards Devon's Water Gun. The two attacks intercepted, causing Devon's stream to freeze solid in a matter of seconds before uselessly falling to the ground and shattering.

The failure of his move caused Devon to grumble as he hopped and danced around to avoid the ice chunks in his path. "Well crap." Still running after the thief and somewhat gaining up as the icy mon's Quick Seed had worn off, Devon turned his attention back to Lilisette. Face twisting in alarm. "Lilisette! Watch out!"

[NAMELESS THIEF used ICE BEAM!] Once again as the beam headed this time for the Kirlia's feet. Intent to get at least one of the annoying children off his ass.

Taking his cap off and holding it under his shoulder, the Guildmaster followed the Chimecho inside and tilted his head. "It is indeed. Though I wonder who?"

His question was soon answered in the form of a Mienshao, which only served to give Glyph more questions. But still, he gave a polite bow. I don't believe I've ever seen them before...Though they are apparently Robel's friend?

Walking slowly over to the injured reptile, the Flygon chuckled and put a claw on Robel's shoulder while giving him a warm smile. "You have, and once again your hasty actions led you astray. That said, it does not change the fact that I am happy to see you are alright Robel."

Panning his head to look over Rhys, Glyph nodded. "Of course. He will be off duty for at least a week. Thank you so much Rhys, truly."

Turning back to the Heliolisk on the table, the Dragon smiled. "Now, let's get you home you foolish Heliolisk. I know you wouldn't want to miss tonight's dinner. Are you able to walk by yourself?"
