Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*
And here's my next character, and boy did it take awhile-ish.
Name: Ryu
Age: 50 Years
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Abilities: Ryu's fighting style is generally referred to as Shotokan, despite the relative lack of resemblance to the real-life martial art (except for some of his normal attacks). His take on the style focuses on powerful singular strikes that usual knock the foe down, and is centered around his trademark Hadoken.
His powers and techniques include:
Hadoken: Ryu's trademark power, the Hadoken (or "Surge Fist" or "Wave Motion Fist") is a surging punch in which a fighter's willpower is utilized to focus energy into and through the palms. As the palms are thrust outwards towards the target, a surging energy wave is expelled that results in a punching force traveling through the air in the opponent's direction. The Hadoken is said to be as warm as normal body temperature, contrary to popular belief of how it is believed to be a fireball. Depending on its practitioner as well, its force of impact varies; with Ryu's Hadoken is said to feel like a hard kick and its pain lingers. Other hadoken variants can be performed such as; Gohadoken ("Great Surge Fist"; a much more powerful and potentially deadly variant used by those who have fully tapped into the Hado (either the Satsui no Hado or its toned down counterpart)), Shakunetsu Hadoken ("Scorching Heat Surge Fist"; A Hadoken which is imbued with the power of fire), and several others depending on the power level.
Shoryuken: The Shoryuken (or "Rising Dragon Fist") is a jumping uppercut in which the user spins upwards with some horizontal movement as well, knocking the opponent to the ground and inflicting damage.
Tatsumaki Senpukyaku: The Tatsumaki Senpukyaku (Or "Hurricane Kick") is when the fighter jumps and, while in the air, rotates his or her legs, kicking the opponent up to three times in a tornado-like fashion.
Joudan Sokutogeri: The Joudan Sokutogeri ("High-Level Leg Blade Kick" NOT "And Diarrhea Joke Foot*") is a simple, yet strong, forward-stepping side kick. If it hits, the opponent is sent flying. The EX Special can bounce an opponent off a wall, useful for juggling them.
Satsui no Hado:"The Surge of Murderous Intent", or commonly "Dark Hado", is a dark energy-based force that is known for its use by Akuma, as well as Ryu's struggle against it. It's a form of ki that is rooted in the darker aspects of the natural human instinct (including the desire to survive, trample, and impose over opposition), and on a metaphysical level, the natural occurrence and manifestation of loss, decline, and destruction. Ryu can use it to safely enhance the power of his attacks, but if his desire to win becomes so great, it'll overwhelm him and make him loose control. This can make him become the horrifying Evil Ryu, making him even more stronger then before. To tap into the Satsui no Hado, a person must be so consumed with the desire for winning, or else possess such intense rage, that they are willing to murder. As such, only people who push themselves to be the best at any cost can take full advantage of it, however, the untrained mind can be driven into insanity if they are not ready for it. For the people who do succeed in controlling it, they become very strong, but at the cost of losing their humanity and compassion; they develop a cold outlook on life and a nihilistic detachment from themselves, as well as other people, and develop a murderous (and even suicidal) desire to fight. Such people also gain the power to sense, and potentially influence, the emergence of the Satsui no Hado in others. Once a person has tapped into the Satsui no Hado within them, it can be very hard to resist. Learning the Satsui no Hado is the first step in learning the most fatal technique known to all of their martial arts - the Shun Goku Satsu, known also as the Raging Demon. When performed, the user of the Satsui no Hado would hand themselves over entirely to the killing intent, launching a series of deadly strikes in a moment. Historically, those that had used this technique had been unable to resist the potency of the killing intent and were consumed by it, their minds reduced to that of violent, beast-like berserkers.
The Power of Nothingness: The Power of Nothingness (or "Muo no ken" or "Fist of Nothingness) is the complete polar opposite of the Satsui no Hado that is a state of consciousness transcending ordinary perspective, born through spiritual and mental refinement. Bearing common traits with states of being within Buddhism and martial arts, it is the power to act without being attached to emotions and thought, free of fear, anger, and ego, to draw upon the contents of one's heart intuitively without obstacle and hesitation, and to be aware of the world and to know one's place and meaning within its vastness, to flow with all of creation without the need of worry, desire, and doubt. The user will have complete control over his attacks. Being the complete opposite of its dark counterpart as such, it can only be used by a person of pure mind, compassion, mercy and peace. Such a person must have embraced the peaceful and spiritual aspect of the art to their fullest extent. Just like the Satsui no Hado, it makes a person unbelievably powerful, granting invincibility (spiritually and physically, or so it has been said) to many attacks, as well as sealing off evil power and making the user a stronger fighter.
"Would you like any help on this mission of yours, Kuroko? I know I'm not at a hundred percent, but this job sounds simple enough that you and me could handle it with marginal difficulty. It'd be even easier if anyone else joins in, but that'd just be overkill, though that might be just what these assholes need." Aiden face soured as he turned his thoughts to the town that was currently being occupied by a bunch of thugs. "It's people like this that put shame to all mages, so let's show him what the Wizards of Fiore do to losers thinking they can take advantage if defenseless villagers, yeah, Pencil Wizard?"
The Winter Spirit was going to respond to Aiden, until he glances over at the team forming up, with the head being Damon. Right on the wall next to them, was in fact the same job as they were going to partake. He wanted to go at them and say he called dibs first, but was not in the mood for dealing with them. He makes a defeated sigh as he crumples the paper up.
"That team got dibs on it first apparently..." Kuroku answers finally, "I don't feel like arguing with them so I'm just going to let them do it."
He throws away the paper and continues looking at the guild board. Suddenly, he spots yet another mission. One that he hasn't seen before. He plucks it off the board and reads it slowly.

Talk about bitter rivals! Clover is already beginning to take a beating as two mages, one fire and one water, are duking it out over here, and no mage is available or willing to subdue them! No matter how hard we tried, they just won't budge, and already they've damaged/destroyed a few buildings! And we're only talking about 2 hours STRAIGHT! We're desperate for at least two mages to come over and subdue them so we can separate the fight and save the town. Please come IMMEDIATELY ONCE YOU READ THIS!" - Mayor of Clover Town
"Hmmm..." Kuro thinks as he turns to Aiden, "I think I have an idea on our substitute mission."
He hands Aiden the job request for him to read as he hears Nigel come into the guild hall. A smile forms on his face as he greets him.
"Nigel ole pal!" he shouts back, "It's good to see ya! How'e everything?"
@Kael Taiyou I do believe you can make as may characters as you can handle. Im also happen to be bringing in more characters myself... question is WHO.
