As her fist would try to punch Ariel, it was stopped by Nolan's katana. Somehow it was strong enough to deflect her punch and tried to push her away. What the actual FUCK was she doing?! She is acting like a damn psychotic and yet she knows it! Her body and outer emotions were working on its own, as if they completely cut out of her mind! She was now pleading for her body to stop, PLEADING!
"BODY STOP!!!" she yells internally in her mind as she tries to resist the temptation to kill, "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS MADNESS?! M-MUST... R-RESIST! C-C-C'MON!!!"
Yet it still wouldn't listen.
"Enough! I don't want to hurt you Marlene!" she can hear Nolan from deep within.
"N-Neither do I!" she tries to speak, but only comes from within her mind, "F-Forgive me Nolan-sama~ er N-Nolan! MY BODY IS MOVING ON ITS OWN! I-I HAVE NO CONTROL!"
The next thing she knows, glowing white cuffs and shackles made of souls appeared around her wrist and ankles. While her emotions struggled crazily to get out, Marlene was actually routing for Nolan from the inside.
T-That's i-it..." she thinks to him, though it cannot be unheard, "Lock me in place. I really d-don't want to kill anyone, I swear!"
Yet the more she tries to plead and calm down, the more her emotions get fired up.
"Run! I can't defend and fight at the same time!"
And as Ariel tries to run, Marlene's emotions have now literally lost her shit. The shackles begin to crack as they suddenly give off, allowing the freedom of THE BEAST! Knocking past Nolan, she begins to run and act almost like a wild animal, panting hard as she tries to catch Ariel. The emotions were voraciously pissed, but inside Marlene was sobbing in grief.
"W...Why...?" she cries to herself, "What am I doing? This isn't the way I would've acted... I would've just stood back! Idk... maybe he was lying earlier because he already had a GF... maybe this was a girl to provide him with therapy... w-wait... it couldn't be, no... the-there's this magic... I-I feel it! T-this isn't natural at all! He s-should be afraid o-of me AND that g-girl! Was this t-the power of magic that was at w-work...? W... Was this why my body is going berserk? I-Is this the reason why~?"
But before she could answer her own question, she pounces swiftly on the defenseless Ariel...
(A theme for this madness would be nice. Given that my character is based off this anime, this song clearly fits it... I think...)

@t2wave I'll have that reaction be a one time thing in this case. Next time he'll be more like Juvia. Again, this is her outer body and mind speaking, not her inner body. She'll have more control as time goes on.

But Marlene didn't listen to Nolan as her eyes were fixed straight on Ariel. She was pissed. Half-crazy? That's a total understatement. More like, BAT-SHIT crazy! Her hands begin to turn into crystals as she prepares for combat. Her inner mind is telling her stop, but her body and outer emotions refuse to listen.
"THAT WOMAN IS A TRAITOR!" she begins to growl, raising her voice, "SHE'S TRYING TO KILL YOU! ALLOW ME TO SAVE YOU NOLAN!"
And it was there... that hell breaks loose. Marlene's fist begins to retaliate as it would miss Nolan's head by a few inches, headed straight to Ariel's facial region. If Nolan would try to retaliate, his hand would most likely be accidentally destroyed by such an incoming force. It was then that Marlene would leap over him and lunge at the other woman like a savage tiger!
"GET AWAY FROM HIM YOU BITCH!" she roars as she starts a fight at hand.
