@Gentlemanvaultboy Uhhhhh... I don't think you can confirm that counter attack... Synopsis says that every attack is an attempt and not always a confirmation. Besides I was already planning on like literally shooting it in mid air and blowing it up due to reflex... causing the ball to explode and splatter around her and other nearby opponents (hence the fight), since it's been specifically aimed at Samus. I'll let the GM decide here and go by his judgement.

Shortly after Matt finishes his response to Eric, saying that he was on his own in finding Ceri, they see a familiar face come towards them. He glances towards the incoming figure curiously, as he tries to make it out. As soon as he figures out that it was a female, the mage makes a rather jealously-teasing tone of remark.

"It looks as though I have happened upon the gathering of Takeover users, and I wasn't invited, how rude."

Matt simply chuckled at this statement with a smile.

"Nothing personal, Ms. Atrial." he remarks with a friendly head nod, "Just a secret gathering is all, too bad you blew our cover..."

He then issues a hefty laugh as he finishes his little joke. At least he didn't remark about her height. She knows how absolutely furious she can get when someone calls her 'short', hell even he knows to respect her based off it. In truth, he liked Atrial's company however, for she's very friendly most of the time and quite laid-back. Her Take-Over abilities were also rather impressive as well.

"So what's up? Enjoying the festival?" she asks curiously towards the two.

"Yeah, it's been pretty delightful." Matt responds kindly with his own laid-back attitude,"Was walking with Ceri just a minute ago and wouldn't you believe the bastard Eric scared her off?"

Again, that was also another joke as he attempts to make a friendly knuckle in Eric's hair, chuckling a bit as well. Hopefully he wouldn't mind.

Samus would've probably shake hands with the bearded man if she knew who he really is. Regardless, he then points to the symbol on his suit with the words 'free' and 'man'. His name is Freeman. Interesting name, but sounds rather familiar. Her eyebrow perks up, acknowledging his name.

"Well then," the bounty hunter replied with one hand on her hip, "Welcome to the team, Freeman."

Despite Gordom being one of the legendary characters, there were still other more higher ranking legends that were out there. Mario, Megaman, Ryu, are just to name a few of the most famous and who definitely get all the intention. They are mostly the grand stars that get aired on inter-dimensional TV. Freeman however... wasn't too popular in the world of Metroid, despite there being the similarity of aliens being involved, though his world was much more technologically primitive compared to Samus' universe.

Though she does recall hearing or seeing "Freeman" somewhere once before...

She perks her head around and sees the other heroes coming into the room, with disgust coming from Quina. She wasn't in the mood in "talking" with the creepy blob. Those eyes alone give her the creeps anyways. As she approaches the others, with Freeman taking his leave to interact with the other characters, Samus over hears a conversation between the white wolf and the gothic-looking man. He can hear him say the following statement.

"What, my scent? Hunters have a strange aroma to them, so I'm told. We naturally smell like fresh blood. We aren't sure if its because we're covered in the stuff half the time, or because our blood has been altered."

"Have you considered being a vampire of some sort?" the bounty hunter replies to his answer as she approaches the man slowly, her metal armor clunking on the smooth ground, "Wouldn't be surprising if you so happen to be out hunting and drinking it all the time."
