Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*

I haven't posted yet either and would like to request people slow it down a bit.

On another note, shouldn't Geno have a connection to Rosalina? @Lmpkio

Again, he should. But considering we are only allowed to have a maximum of three slots, 1 or two of which to be characters I want to control as my secondaries, you gotta make some sacrifices. Unless I can just add a fourth one for her or something idk.

I originally had one for Mallow and Smithy when I first made the profile, but then was considered the fact that this is also a location for potential secondary characters so...
@Superboy Or Optimus idk lol

Want to play someone different compared to the Big OP himself but if need be I can possibly make him...

Megatron looks lowkey fitting though...

Also note, even though not everyone voted for the characters I had in mind, the fact that already many want to see K Rool basically means...

Well, K Rool is gonna be a thing down the line hopefully lol

It would appear that Bowser seemed to have remembered the wooden doll - which indeed made Geno rather happy. However, considering how long it had been since their last adventure, he also wouldn't be surprised if he only vaguely remembers him - let alone if at all. It truly didn't matter much to him. He was just glad to finally see someone familiar around here. And like him, he also appeared to be a victim of a large "glowing light". Really everyone should've recalled somewhat of that terrifying event...

But he caught Bowser in a rather bad spot, as he'd been on the verge of having a meltdown over the other conflicts that were happening around him. There were two armored swordsman fighting over who killed the "pink marshmallow" - one Geno recognizes to be the Star Warrior of another world. It appeared Kirby fought all that he could, yet died at the hands of the now purified allies. It was a real shame to see Kirby this way, yet an argument he does not want to get into. One hard slice can easily decapitate him or chop his limbs off. He is still a wooden doll after all.

Then he glanced over to see another warrior still attempting to recognize her surroundings. The blonde woman looked oddly familiar - perhaps too familiar to him. She looked very much like another legend he had heard about on his travels. The "Bane of Evil" known simply as Link. She looked as if she was the splitting image of him, if he was a woman that is. This had definitely caught his attention as the wooden doll began to walk to her...

Only to be interrupted by four gunshots that nearly brushed him and Bowser as they flung towards their supposed target. Geno instinctually ducked as the bullets nearly staved part of his head and past the Koopa King's face. The doll glared towards the firer as he readied his arm cannon in response, readying himself for a fight. He ultimately said nothing towards him. However, the firer claimed that he wasn't shooting at them, but rather at a large "deathclaw" that was behind them. Geno would turn around, only to see absolutely nothing behind them - or at least anything that resembled one.

"But there was... nothing behind us." the doll replied confusingly, not knowing of what else to say about it.

And then the Koopa King himself began to throw a fit as he issued a deafening roar while spewing fire everywhere. Geno managed to jog a safe distance away before looking back at the commotion developing nearby.

And speak of the devil, it turned out that Kirby was actually alive. How surprising given how he had a sword wound that was gouged through his back. But as he pointed down the hill, Geno would instantly recognize where he was as soon as he saw a familiar castle below. It was Princess Peach's castle! Was he in the Mushroom Kingdom? However, as he looked beyond, he could very much see a far more expansive world ahead of him.

And a very unfamiliar one at that.

Yet beyond the various terrain, he can barely make out a bright object in the distance. The doll would suddenly realize that it belonged to the same creature that had attacked Star Road. A flash of anger surged through his wooden joints - one also of shame due to how he failed in protecting his home - but he quickly put himself under control. He will get to him eventually. Or perhaps, they, considering how it seems that everyone is getting quite acquainted with one another so quickly. The first of which was a small pudgy cat-like figure who introduced himself as "Tora". Then the same guy that shot at them began to recall the names of those he heard like Bowser, the Centurion, and Geno himself, whilst asking how he could talk.

"This 'puppet' you speak of serves only as my vessel." Geno answered his question, "I - Geno - have come from above... from a place known as the Star Road."

He felt like he shouldn't have mentioned his origins so soon, but regardless he'd make do with this. Meanwhile, another guy wearing a creepy-looking mask called himself "Death". Geno then looked back to the castle below and pointed towards it.

"That castle over there," he said eagerly towards anyone close to hearing him, "I know of it. It belongs to the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. I suggest we head towards it for shelter."

He then looks over to the giant Koopa.

"Am I correct, sire?" he asked him for confirmation.

He had only once visited the Castle during his first outing with Mario and the others, and only one other time he was invited was as a special guest to a party from Princess Peach herself. This may very well not be the same castle he'd know, but perhaps they may find the Princess in that castle... or maybe in another castle. They'll at least be able to find something or someone in there right?

@Superboy Hmmmmm... I wouldn't mind making a transformer character either...

Maybe a Decepticon or something...
@LemonZest1337 I did suggest the rathalos monster hunter earlier, but switched to something else. Soooo...
And posted! Did a little backstory stuff to recognize what he was doing just before being turned into a spirit. Hope that's OK.

~: Star Road - One Hour Prior :~

The star-shaped citizens would wake at early dawn to the sound of an echoing choir spreading their melancholy song across the world. Amongst them, Geno was the first to exit the Floating Castle to bear witness to this strange phenomenon. He expected to hear the majestic singing of star-children or the arrival of beautiful angels blessing the heavenly Star Road of their magnificence. But as he glanced to the morning sunrise, it would be eclipsed by something far bigger than he could've ever anticipated.

It was the largest living being that he had ever laid eyes upon. Blocking out the sun's natural light, it's ball-shaped core radiated the area with its own source of divine light, while it's rainbow-colored wings slowly waved in the wind. But its majesty was not alone. For not only did it command the light, it was surrounded by an army of armless, figureless, white hands, escorting the core towards their destination. Geno would've expected to be welcomed by this marvelous spectacle, but rather he had felt a feeling of absolute dread. And it would be confirmed by an old star-figure floating beside him.

"And so it has come..." the old bearded star spoke somberly, colored deep crimson of age, "The prophecy has finally come to pass."

The wooden doll would look upon his superior with worry in his eyes.

"W-What do you imply, sire?" Geno asked fearfully.

Then the floating hands would come to a slow halt, still floating ominously over the town. They would slowly begin to shed their white glove-like shells, revealing glowing energy-like forms within, as they began to return back to their master's radiant form. The old star quickly began to panic as he looked down at the wooden doll.

"There's no time for me to explain," he bluntly stated with building tension, "You have to go. Run!"

Geno seemed to be roughly confused at this statement as he continued standing his ground.

"No." he states firmly as he points his sacred hand, the Star Gun, towards the divine beings, "Not if I have to say anything about it."

"Are you mad?!" the elder-star pleaded with the armed enforcer, "You can't! Not against him! I beg of you! You must flee for the sake of our people!"

"You've said that it's my duty to protect Star Road from all hostile threats." Geno continued with absolute sterness, "I will not let these things come any closer!"

With that, Geno's boots suddenly flare up as the wooden doll flew towards the seraphim's forces.

"GENO! NO!" the elder star cried out in aguish as he watched their people's only hope head straight towards the hands of a god.

The wooden doll climbed towards the floating core, using all the fuel that he can muster, while charging up his hand cannons to issue the blow that should save the day. The essence formulated into long strings as they let themselves become consumed by their master's core. Geno was already quickly closing the gaps between him and the enemy. There was a chance that he could succeed!

But then the ball of pure energy began to collapse in on itself, replacing the radiant dawn into a void of blinding twilight. Time and space began to warp as colors became more distorted the closer one got to the black hole. It would only be then when Geno finally began to regret his decision to face against the Lord of Light - but by that time it was already too late. The last thing he'd see was a sudden burst of blinding light - comparable to a supernova - as it mercilessly engulfed the doomed warrior into its gaze of divine judgement.

The wooden doll's frail body slowly rose as he found his entire face covered in wet mud. The instant Geno confirmed this through touch, he realizes that he isn't back on his beloved Star Road. He proceeded to wipe the remaining mud on his face before checking that his wooden joints were in proper working condition. Yes, each joints happened to be working as intended. However, he was soon quick to realize that his hand no longer bore the symbols and details of the "Star Gun". His hand was simply back to it's original state - the state when he first inherited this doll of a body.

Quickly realizing this, Geno took a long glance at his surroundings.

"W-Where am I...?"

He found himself to be upon a grassy hill, with his surrounding environment having desolated within a brutal apocalyptical-event. Yet he couldn't remember what he was doing here. He only vaguely remembered being engulfed by a bright light, only to now find himself here. And surrounding him, he can see several figures also rising from the ground. He notes armored warriors brushing the first off their armor, mechanical beings testing their joints, a giant turtle demanding where he is, and~

Wait.

Geno's glance immediately focused on the giant turtle. Could it be? Was this the infamous King Bowser - the same King Bowser - that he had helped alongside Mario, Mallow, and Princess Peach all those decades ago to defeat the vile Smithy Gang? How could he possibly have found himself here as well? Considering he's the only being on this hill that he can immediately recognize, the wooden doll quickly flew over to the Koopa King and waved to his old ally.

"King Bowser!" Geno called out as he levitates in front of him, "It has been far too long time since our initial meeting. Do you remember me by any chance? Does the name "Geno" ring any bells?"

I cannot overstate how awesome that picture is.

Btw, I also realized that once K Rool is in, he and Bowser are going to totally get along:

Or most likely aspire mutiny and fight each other in a Civil War-esque fashion:
