Which setting would you like to see more of in Roleplays?

I have a few ideas, mostly personal opinions of mine that fill a particular niche:

1). Kaiju RPs - My attempt at kaiju RPs hadn't been as successful as they should due to my currently sheer incompetence in directing them. I have an idea, a vision, but often lack the sudden will or time to do so. However, I feel like I have a few good ideas with them - such as controlling Monsters rather than simply just people.

But while I'm a fan of the whole crazy tokustastu culture, I wouldn't mind something akin to a "documentary-styled" RP where it focuses primarily on the monsters and how they interact with the world around them and with other players. I'm not the only person to have this idea, but even just creatures in general, have a RP that focuses with monsters or something...

2) Which leads me to maybe have a solely dragon-based RP. You take control of a dragon and interact with others of your kind and maybe engage on personal missions either against other dragons and/or against humans. Basically it's a reversal role of you controlling the creature against humanity.

3). Space faction RPs. Or in my case, multiversal space RPs that allow you to control a ship or faction from pop culture, with a cool original story that can entice and rally other players. One RP I partook in had you control a faction of your choice and you could pick where to land on a map of a custom world, where you could expand your forces and interact with other players. This is something I would love to see more of!

4). And I wouldn't mine more Monster Hunter or Monster-Hunter-based RPs to, also with the akin of being able to control monsters in "ecology-styled (cutscene)" situations.

So to wrap it up:

1. More Kaiju/Monster RPS
2. Documentary Styled RPs based around nature and so forth.
3. Space Faction RPs
4. Monster Hunter RPs

I've decided to go ahead and make the profiles for Samus' Gunship and the First Order's Finalizer just for the sake of it. I probably won't be going for any of the TF ships, unless you guys really want me to (which is perfectly fine by me), so these two options are currently what I'm going for.

- Grapple Beam: Used to tether onto cargo, hold onto sturdy surfaces, and even act as a miniature tractor beam against fighter ships.

- Cloaking Device (Newly Added): Recently added, the cloaking device allows Samus' gunship to temporarily become undetectable from other vessels. This takes up a lot of energy so it's used sparingly.

Unique Technology:
- Adv. Recharging Station: Stores a special pod that allows to recharge Samus's suit after a long day of combat. Takes several hours for it to fully recharge.
- Ammunition Microfactory: A small dimension utilized in the production of ammo for Samus' plasma cannon. Strangely it doesn't refill the ship's missile supplies, meaning that Samus would have to find suitable weaponry or modify existing missiles to refill her ship.
- Sophisticated Hologram Computer: Samus' gunship is built with a sophisticated computer which stores mission data.
- Hyperdrive: Allows Samus' ship to jump from one star system to the next in minutes.

History of the Ship:
As Samus Aran's most reliable companion when traveling across the stars, this unnamed Hunter-Class gunship has served the famed bounty hunter since the very beginning. From tracking down vile criminals to combating the vile space pirates, it's the perfect vessel for a bounty hunter to do her job. While this ship in particular is not the first of her kind that Samus flew - this being her fourth incarnation to be exact - her design remained largely the same throughout, being that the front looks much like the bounty hunter's own helmet. Each incarnation however had been upgraded significantly to prevent the ship from being neutralized once again from enemy forces (a fate befitted with two of her previous vessels), mostly in the form of additional weaponry, shielding, and other gadgets and add-ons.

As of her most recent mission prior to her finding herself in a galaxy far, far away, Samus had merged all of her weaponry and armor from previous models onto the same classic ship design, as well as adding a new ability to the ship - a cloaking device.

History of the Ship:
After the fall of the Empire in 5ABY at the planet Jakku, the last remaining remnants of Emperor Palpatine's forces were forced to go into hiding in the Unknown Regions after signing the Galactic Concordance with the New Republic. This in return severely limited their ability to wage war and ushering in its transformation into a mere rump state. However, they actively opposed the new galactic government and with the rise of Supreme Leader Snoke, the First Order proceeded to rapidly militarize their forces and ready themselves for a new galactic war.

As a successor the the old Imperial-Class Star Destroyers, the Resurgent-Class Battlecruisers served as the mainstay of the First Order Navy and were built secretly in "distant orbital factories" deep in the Unknown Regions. Taking inspiration from the Imperial-class Star Destroyers of the Old Empire, but lacking the resources to construct huge numbers of these capital ships, First Order designs would consciously emulate the psychological factor of the previous Imperial Era ships. The ship's bow, flight deck, side hangars, and prominent keel would share similarities to the Old Republic Venator-class Star Destroyers, which reflected renewed appreciation among First Order tacticians for capital ships' role as carriers. They also had a better protected bridge tower along with quicker fighter-combat reaction time compared to said older models.

Amongst them, the Finalizer initially served as an advanced training for older stormtrooper cadets before commissioned as an active flagship vessel during the new galactic war. Other then being notable for hbeing under the command general Armitage Hux and Snoke's apprentice Kylo Ren, the Finalizer had seen fairly little action compared to others. Documents only describe as it being present on the attack of Jakku in an attempt to obtain Luke Skywalker's hiding position from a Lor San Tekka, an ally of the Resistance, and participated in the hunt for the Resistance fleet after D'Qar was evacuated shortly after Starkiller Base's destruction.

Prior to its abnormal jump back in time, it once again housed Kylo Ren, General Hux, and Captain Phasma as they were in the process of being transferred onto Supreme Leader Snoke's Mega-class Star Dreadnought, Supremacy.

And on that note, I'd also like to ask everyone a few questions based on one of the factions they want to participate in the RP, each representing each faction in mind:

1). For those who'd pick Samus, should I also introduce Ridley into the Universe in some way or another? Obviously, he won't be seen for a long while, but it could be interesting to see what side he may allege himself towards. Maybe he could be normal and then after a battle that almost kills him he is brought in by Palpatine and turned into Meta Ridley - aka, making a parallel "transition" to that of Vader? I think that could be a cool twist.

2). For those who pick Kylo Ren, which version of him should appear in the RP? Should he still be the apprentice of Snoke from Force Awakens, or should it be his Supreme Leader status initiated in the second half of The Last Jedi?

3). For those who pick the transformers, which side do you want to see come to light (Autobots or Decepticons) and any honorable requests as to who should be apart of their crew other than the notable favorites and main characters?

Please vote so I can best figure out which faction I should control. I can't pick one on my own.

I’ve utilized or planned to use Samus on multiple occasions in multiple RPs, so she’s familiar to me. I will say she won’t start off fully armed with every weapon and she would be finding various upgrades on her adventures. She might start out with her varia suit and a few abilities but not with endgame abilities. She’ll be mid-game; not too OP but not completely defenseless. It’ll make up for the lack of a vessel that she pilots.

But I want to see everyone plant their own thoughts about who i should use first before moving on with it. Cuz I don’t imagine that I’ll be able to control multiple factions.

Oh my god... I've been looking for a RP like this for a long time! Used to be in this one particular faction sci-fi RP which was an absolute blast, as the Imperial Empire, but had since died out.

I know I'm gonna be late at this point, but I'm very interested in joining this RP. Obviously, I won't be in control of that faction (Im not even going to bother going with an alternate universe portion) but I do have two ideas for this RP.

1). I can take control of Samus Aran and her gunship from the Metroid series. While there are battleships and such present in the lore (as well as games like Metroid Prime: 3 and Metroid: Other M), there isn't truly enough info about them for me to properly utilize them. Plus I think Samus alone is more fitting for this kind of thing and she'll have to rely on issuing pacts with other factions to survive.

2). Have Kylo Ren and several other high ranking First Order personnel (Captain Phasma, Hux, etc) onboard the Finalizer to come in as a weird time paradox from the future. As much as I heavily dislike the sequel trilogy thus far, Kylo Ren is probably one of my favorite characters from those movies (up until the second act of TLJ but even then Im still curious to see how he will develop), I feel like I could initate something cool in this instance and possibly improve his mannerisms and actions compared to how Disney treated him. Hell, have Kylo Ren eventually fight grand daddy Vader and maybe even Palpatine (before he encounters him in ROS I guess, I dunno how that will work).

3). This one is very controversial, but another option is to have an Autobot/Decepticon ship (The Ark/The Nemesis) pop in? Considering they're pretty big bots, I will have to limit their forces to make it fair with the other puny humans, but it would be an interesting faction to utilize.

What do you guys think of these options? Which is your favorite?
