Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 12-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing.

I've been writing and roleplaying in Dutch and English since 2002. I joined the RolePlayer Guild in 2014 and since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

There are times I don't have much creative energy and will be silent for a while, but in the very least I will try to keep the writing contests going.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. Genuinly, I sometimes need reminders that you are waiting for a reply. I don't ghost on purpose, I promise. Time is just a weird thing sometimes, and if something happened 3 days ago, 3 weeks ago or 3 months ago can feel pretty much the same and I often don't realize how much time passed since my last reply. And if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab there is a good chance I might forget I was supposed to reply because I lost the visual reminder T_T

"Confinement is one place I'll try to avoid," Benjamin sighed. "It would be a nightmare come true to be locked up in there." And something he'd rather not think about, so he focussed on the medicin use instead. "Simon faithfully took his pills, Susanna... she took her anxiety medicine on occasion, but more often than not traded it for painkillers or sleeping pills. So none of them had the same habits when it came to that. They also didn't have the same reason for being here. Susanna was agoraphobic, had anxiety and was a recovering painkiller addict. Simon had auditory hallucinations. And Franklin..." he paused, looking at Ray and her spirits.
"Let's first try the options that won't get us into trouble," Benjamin said. "Messing with the lock of the psychiatrist will definitely be reported, chatting with cleaning staff won't be." He smiled at Artemis. "You are right though, we have plenty of time to come up with more ideas, we don't have to rush it."

It was actually depressing to think about it, but he had no idea what he could do next. Hang out in the common area perhaps. Maybe read, or draw something, or... He sighed, he couldn't even come up with more ideas. There was just not enough to do in this place. "You have been longer here than I have, how do you keep yourself busy?" he asked as he looked at Artemis.

Henri looked at the new Pokémon, one that would be immune to ground attacks, but not against rock. The quick Aerial Ace had Rhydon unable to defend himself, Maybe it didn't hurt much, but it did hurt. A roar of pain sounded when he was hit with the Metal Claw, but he remained standing and looked at the Ninjask, ready to strike back.
"Nice combination," Henri said. "Rhydon, Scary Face!"
The Rhydon put his feet firmly in the sand, rose his arms to the sky and roared as he made the best scary face he could muster.
Benjamin sat back and looked at Ari. "I can hear you," he said, figuring she would want to know that. "I suppose that is one thing crossed from my list of things to do the afternoon. On the way here I already apologised about missing group therapy this morning, which is another thing crossed off. And I haven't heard about an appointment with the psychiatrist, so I guess my busy afternoon isn't so busy after all."
Now that he realised that, another realisation hit. What was he supposed to do the entire day? Hanging out with Ray and her spirits was nice, but he would like to do something.

"So... we need to figure out what happened to three people now," he said. "The old cop Franklin, Simon, Susanna. I know both Simon and Susanna had an evaluation about their medication before they left, and they had always faithfully taken them. I don't know Franklin though."
He had decided to bring the conversation back to that topic, during lunch they hadn't been able to really talk about it.

The Sandslash got hit by the Hyperbeam and slammed against one of the pillars around the arena. Henri returned him. "I suppose I can give you a bit more of a challenge," he said, taking another Pokéball and he threw it in the air. "Rhydon!"
The large ground/rock type emerged and locked eyes with the opponent.
"Rock Throw," Henri ordered and the Rhydon lifted his arms in the air and a lot of rocks hurled in the direction of the Shedinja.
Benjamin looked at the closed door, but turned his back to it so he could face Artemis. "I'm not much of a lockpick, so getting a key would be best. I reckon there would be one in the nurse's office, but to get that..." he shook his head. "By the time we find it they will have noticed we are there. But... maybe the janitor or the cleaning staff could have the key. And maybe the psychiatrist will have one too. That office is empty during the night, but might be locked as well."

He started walking, gesturing Artemis to follow him. They had spend enough time standing near a door they weren't supposed to be, he didn't want to be found by any of the staff.

"He doesn't need to be here fast," mr. Johnson decided, "but I would like to meet with him. Please arrange it."
He started to think about everything that had to be taken care off, he would need a meeting with some senior agents too. With Harriet, it was important to keep her close in this case.

Benjamin nodded to Steph and then turned to Mike. "So, what has gotten you so worried."
Mike took in a deep breath. "We are friends, and friends should be honest with each other, right?"
"Of course," Benjamin said, unsure where this was going.
"I've been studying Succubi. You have to keep your distance with her, she can be more dangerous than she seems. But it looks like... you already are under her spell."
"I'm under no-ones spell," Benjamin stated, crossing his arms. "I like her. Don't be so paranoid, it's Steph. She isn't an evil, men-devouring demon."
"Ben..."
"I really don't want to hear you talk about her like that. She's not dangerous." Benjamin walked away, leaving Mike behind, and went in the direction he had seen Steph go.
I just watched the episode where Ash challenges Whitney for the first time. Out of the three Pokémon she used, only one was normal.
First she used a Nidorina, which is pure poison and to my knowledge always has been. Then she used Clefairy, who was normal when generation 2 came out, but is considered Fairy now. And then Miltank.

I think in the gme she just uses Clefairy and Miltank.
"My pleasure," Mabel replied, making herself comfortable on the grass. "If you two have enough of relaxing here I can take you for a fligt," she said, to make sure the two Pokémon knew they didn't have to stay up here if they got bored. She was certain their trainer wouldn't mind, and Mindy would call her back when either of them wanted them back.

Meloetta's eyes widened when Gavin mentioned Mew had a boyfriend and she almost jumped up to go check him out.
"Please miss Penalopy," James said, recognising the look in her eyes. "I'm sure Gavin will introduce us soon enough. Let's stay here for now."
When Mindy returned Penalopy had her full attention on Gavin and Mindy again.

Mindy nodded slowly. "I do understand now why you seemed to react a bit... strange to normal things. You definitely need someone who knows how to be human if you walk among us. So if you still want to get those pants," she gestured to the exit of the alley, "we can go look for a pair."
It was still hard to believe she was actually talking to Mewtwo, up to now she had only heard stories about him.
Blaze nodded a greeting to Fez, but kept his eyes on Gavin. Mewtwo or not, if he'd harm Mindy he'd rip his arms off.

Michael nodded, but someone running in their direction caught his attention.
"Hello!" the pink haired woman with bunches called to them as she waved. "I'm sorry I'm late!"
"I guess," Michael began, "this is the gym leader.

When they had left the city Saruya slowed down and walked between the trees. This was much better. A part of her couldn't stop worrying about Michael and the little Pokémon he had with him, but she knew she could trust him to take care of himself. And they wouldn't be gone long.
"Have you ever been to a Starfall before?" she asked Harry. She had realised she knew very little of the world of legends, this gathering could be annual, or maybe every century. She had no idea how old Legendary Pokémon could even become.

"I have an expert of Darkrai with me," Andy said, gesturing to Varina. "But if you want to know what humans know about Darkrai, I've read up on Legedary Pokémon Lore. I know pretty much what has been written about Darkrai and I'd be happy to tell you." He showed a confident smile. "You know, in case my stunning good looks weren't enough reason to go drink a coffee with me."

Benjamin thought about the question, looking at the ground as he did. He went over the spirits he hadn't been able to hear and those he had. "There is only one way to know for sure," he said, looking up again and he reached out to take her hands, well, Ray's hands, but since Ari in the body it would feel like he took her hands. "I'm fairly sure we don't need Ray's body to talk from now on, because I trust you and I care about you."
