Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 12-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing.

I've been writing and roleplaying in Dutch and English since 2002. I joined the RolePlayer Guild in 2014 and since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

There are times I don't have much creative energy and will be silent for a while, but in the very least I will try to keep the writing contests going.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. Genuinly, I sometimes need reminders that you are waiting for a reply. I don't ghost on purpose, I promise. Time is just a weird thing sometimes, and if something happened 3 days ago, 3 weeks ago or 3 months ago can feel pretty much the same and I often don't realize how much time passed since my last reply. And if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab there is a good chance I might forget I was supposed to reply because I lost the visual reminder T_T

Ethan looked at Harriet for a moment, followed by a shrug. "You three haven't been dishonest yet. I trust Gaia, I'm not too sure about you and I have no idea about Steph. She's a demon, but Ben likes her, so she'll get the benefit of the doubt." He glanced at the agents before turning to Harriet. "It may not be the truth you wanted to hear, but it is."
Benjamin nodded and started pacing around the small room. "Right. We can't do that from here. I..." He didn't want to stay there. "I want to walk around the building and see what options there are. Stretch my legs, clear my head, and just have a look around."
He looked around to see what the others thought about it.
Netherlu grinned at Nygari, taking pride in being the last.
"After this party I am going back to that hospital and see how that injured man is doing. He's lucky he wore a red backpack and I was able to spot him."
R-red backpack? Lytse stuttered. "With yellow and some black feathers?
Netherlu frowned as he thought back. "Yes, something like that. Why?"
"That, that, that may be Michael's father. He's missing."
"The one who found my feather."
"Yes. Michael may want to know," Lytse said, looking towards his trainer.
"Of course." He cupped his hand and put it to his mouth. "Michael! Join us for a moment."

Michael had listened to Niccia and Vatier, smiling at Niccia when she made her promise, when he heard his name. Looking up he noticed it was someone Lytse was with.
"I'll see what he wants from me," he said and walked towards Netherlu.

Andy walked with Frosiien towards a tree and looked up when he heard a voice come down from it.
"I think you have the best place of the party," Andy commented. "Your father seems to be okay again. And I was wondering if we can talk about something I'd rather not bring up during the party."
He heared someone called Michael and he looked to see where it came from.

Harcu shook Gavin's hand. "I never object to the creation of new life, but I understand it's not easy on you. I'm not sure how I would feel about another like me." He stood besides Gavin to look at the party. Everything seemed to have settled down again and their family was mingling once again. "It would be nice if we could all bring our offspring to a gathering like this."

"It is, Chifferi said and he moved to take Belle's hand. "I'll show you where it is."
Mindy took this opportunity to see how her Pokémon were doing.

It was light. Fenna opened her eyes and stared at the sky above her. Had she fainted? She sat up with the creaking of leather armour. With an astonished look she moved her hand over her attire - she had not been dressed like this moments ago - but paused when she noticed what looked to be a crystal on her left hand. She looked around, staring back at the villagers staring at her as she stepped out of the box. From where she stood she saw one house in ruins snd several other boxes. Coffins?

The only one who didn't look like the villagers was a man with a straw hat. She picked up the bow and quiver that had been lying next to her and examined the clothes she wore and the items she carried.

This had to be a dream or something.
I'll give the first post a read soon and reply ^_^ Dinner first.

Welcome to the Voting and Feedback round for RPGC#36!

Voting and Feedback guidelines
  • Please take your time to read through all the entries before voting for your favourite work. The reasons you base your vote on are up to you, as long the vote isn’t based on whether or not you like the author.
It would be nice if you could share why you voted for a specific work.
  • Giving feedback is optional but highly encouraged. When giving feedback you should be respectful and constructive. It’s good to point out any flaws or the things you feel could be improved or why you didn't like something, but don’t be mean.
Make sure to point out what you liked or appreciated in the entry too.
  • Contestants may and are encouraged to vote for and give feedback for the other entries, but don’t vote for your own entry. If contestants wish to withhold a vote and only give feedback, that is good too.
  • The entries are anonymous unless the writer asked for having their name added. That being said, writers may claim their work at any time during the voting period.
  • The entry with the most votes will win, but in case of a tie a Contest Mod will cast the tie-breaker vote.
  • You can vote for entries and post your feedback in this thread, but if you rather have your vote and/or feedback be anonymous you can PM it to @Calle.
  • The voting period deadline is January 19th, 9:00 CET, which is 8:00 server time (both times are in a.m.).
