Anyone remember the period a little after guildfall, when the site didn't have a lot of work put into it, the servers went down pretty often and people were moving out? We waited and waited until boom, Mahz made America the guild great again. That was about where I left off.
My mistake was trying to take on everything at once (and being cringy as hell but I mean come on). Well now I'm back, and better than ever.
And I'll be damned if I let anything get in the way of having a good time.
"Alright." Thomas sighed. All the seriousness seemed to drain from him as he rolled the white board back into place. They should've understood enough, there wasn't that much to get. "Just remember, don't neglect your own plans for the day." Thomas said. "I won't need you for that long, I just need you to see it at least once. So we can have something to write about."
Thomas took a cloth and began wiping the whiteboard clean. "Everyone is dismissed. But Emma, you better clean up your snacks before you go." Thomas said as he worked. "You brought it in, you take care of it." "Wait, give me some of those." Finn said, spurred into sudden action by the declaration. He grabbed a handful of sweets and stuffed a few cookies in his mouth. "Oh man, that's the stuff." He said happily. "Thanks, Em." "Don't speak with your mouth full." Thomas said. Finn ignored him and began walking to the door, picking up his bottle of juice. "Welp, see you tomorrow, Thomas." Finn said, waving back. "And have fun with your dates, ladies!" With that, Finn disappeared out of the room. Thomas sighed in equal parts relief and expaseration and finished wiping the board clean, before turning to take care of the his matter of the day as the president of the newspaper club.
"Sorry about the wait, Caitlyn." Thomas said, turning to their guest. "What was it you wanted to know?" @KoL@Ryonara@ColouredCyan

He has a secret desire to rule the world. Role: Kurt is a member of the home EC club and often cooks after school. And Machidai is @RoflsMazoy's character so ask him for that.
OKAY DONE WITH ZEH EDUMACATIONS FOR THE DAY. Time to post. Also, just wondering for secondary characters who are only involved within one individual facade of the setting (DGO or IRL) or both to a minor extent, could we just chuck together a short synopsis CS?
Feel like fleshing out Ken/Sky Knight a bit, instead of just sticking a little hider to Shiro's CS
As everyone headed back inside and the interlopers left, Thomas surveyed the hall from both ends looking for someone, but they were nowhere to be seen. He sighed softly before closing the door and turning back to the relatively busy room. Emma helpfully explained the situation to one of their guests and Thomas followed up on her explanation. "That's pretty much what we know so far." Thomas said. "I really don't know why you're asking us when you could probably just ask them directly."
Thomas turned his attention to the printer and began unboxing it to set it up when Emma and Hibiki informed him of their earlier arrangements and Thomas weighed up the time taken to set it up and the time he'd need to explain it and decided that he should probably just tell them what he wanted to tell them in the first place. "Well, even though all of us aren't here," Thomas began, turning to address his club. "At least we-"
"Hey guys, I'm here!" A voice rang out.
The door to the club room was blasted aside as a blonde haired figure emerged from the hallway, smiling like an idiot, carrying a bottle of green liquid and a carton of chocolate milk. Thomas facepalmed as the boy made his entrance. "Sorry about the printer, Hibiki, must've been heavy, huh?" The boy said to the small girl. "I got pulled in by the agriculture research society. Wanted some help the heavy stuff, so here." Finn put the carton of milk on the table in front of Hibiki. "Take this as my apology. Should you help grow a little bit, right?" He teased. He then put down the bottle of green liquid on the main table, besides all the snacks. "And I got this for my troubles." Finn informed them. "The agriculture club were experimenting with different fruit juices for the festival. Anyone game to try some? Maybe this new girl?"
Suddenly, he noticed Thomas standing by the new printer, and immediately took interest in the new addition. "Ooh, Thomas, whatcha got here?" He said, coming over to check it out. "A new printer?"
"Finn." Thomas said. The blond haired boy turned to Thomas with a comeback that died on his lips as he saw Thomas's expression. "Go set it up." Thomas told him. "...Alright, Tommy!" Finn said after a pause. "I'm working, call me president." Thomas added. "Aye aye, captain!"
Thomas took his hand from his face and brought up his interface. With Finn setting up the printer, he was free to explain the situation to the rest of the club members. Thomas walked over to the table and picked up another mint, crushing it between his teeth like the last. "Kosuke, if you've already gotten what you needed, you should probably go. And... Caitlyn, was it?" Thomas said, addressing his guests. "If you really want to find out whatever it was, you can stick around but I'll be talking to my subordinates for a minute or two. You can wait or leave, your choice." Thomas then turned towards Hibiki. "I need to tell you about our plans for the festival, then we can end it there and you can just go." He said to her. "But you might want to sit down, it'll be a bit long."
Thomas absentmindedly scrolled through his interface before he spoke, though he already knew what he needed to say. "Finn, I can't say I approve of sidetracking, but your timing is good enough for me to ignore it. For now." Thomas said. The blond boy shivered over by the printer before continuing his work. "Now, let's talk about the game plan." Thomas said.
Thomas walked around the room to a cluttered area of the clubroom. "Since we don't have a lot of members to work with, we're each going to be in charge of certain areas and categories of the festival." Thomas said. "Thankfully, we have a nice spread of buildings in our clubs so it should be possible."
Thomas rolled out a whiteboard from the side of the room and brought it to the front. He took a marker and began writing on the board. "The festival involves the entire school, both clubs and classes, because there are plenty of students who aren't in clubs, so we'll need eyes and ears everywhere." Thomas said. He wrote clubs and classes onto the board. "Considering how entrenched DGO is in the school's culture, the coloured guilds also make an appearance. Also due to DGO's large influence, the majority of classes do fairly simple things like food stands and the like." He wrote coloured guilds under clubs and classes. Under classes, he wrote food stands and miscellaneous. "Classes don't usually have too much, but we can't ignore possible wild cards. Though you all would know that." Thomas said, circling Miscellaneous.
Next, he moved on to clubs. "With clubs, there's the usual showing, from the different clubs every year, though they try to put a spin on it every time. We want to also get all the clubs we can, since they usually have something worth seeing." Thomas said, writing up specific clubs of interest and grouping them under 3 categories; sports, culture and crafts. "Crafts and sports usually don't do much, but we need to look into them nonetheless." Thomas said. "They've had important roles in the past."
Finally, he moved on to the coloured guilds, writing 'black vs white' in big letters. "And this," Thomas said as he finished writing. "Is the one everyone's looking for." He circled his work and turned to address his audience. "And those are the points we need to look out for." Thomas said.
"Boss, the printer's done!" Finn called. "About time." Thomas said. He flicked through his interface and accessed the new printer; unamed but he'd change that later. He quickly printed off several copies of a specific document. Soon, the printer began spitting out paper. "Hand those out to everyone, would you? Besides our guests, of course." Thomas told Finn.
Finn complied easily, giving the newspaper club members copies of the paper and keeping one for himself. Once everyone had one on hand, Thomas continued to speak. "Those are schedules for the school festival." Thomas said. "I modified the official schedule with everything else of interest I could fine. There's also a map of the school on the back."
Thomas opened a certain file on his interface and went back to the board, picking up the marker again. "So here's how it's going to go down." Thomas began. He wrote the names of the newspaper club; Thomas, Emma, Finn, Hibiki, Kurogane, Kurt, Alicia and Machidai. "I want to end this quick so listen up, I'm only saying this once." Thomas said.
As he talked, he drew arrows on the whiteboard to the where he wanted various people to watch in the festival. "Finn, you're on culture clubs with Hibiki and Emma. Kurogane will cover the sports clubs." Thomas began. "Kurt and Alicia will cover the crafts clubs, and Kurt and Emma will cover the food stands, since Emma likes eating food and Kurt is in the home EC club. Machidai will mainly cover the culture clubs but since he's our main photographer, he'll go wherever he needs to." He didn't draw any arrows on Machidai since he would be wherever something significant happened. "If you find something interesting, message me and look into it. I'll follow up on the investigation." Thomas continued. "Everyone is responsible for their area's classes, and I want you all to really look into them. There will be overlap, since good stories don't necessarily come from good stalls." He drew one arrow from his own name to the coloured guilds area, and drew arrows for others as well. "While I say that, it's important to consider yourself and your friends first." Thomas said. "I'm not expecting you to go out of your way for this job, just look into the attractions when you can, when it matches up with your own schedule. With that being said, however." He wrote a specific time on the whiteboard. "Emma and Hibiki. Make sure you keep this period of time free, because you'll go with me to the big attraction." Thomas said, circling 'Black vs White' once again. "We're going for the main attraction."
He put the pen down and turned back to his audience. "And that's it. Any questions?" Thomas asked.
Well, that's alright. You should take your time to get the best possible result. Maybe we can do this someday, but I was about to get busy sooner or later anyway, so good luck.
