Competition tends to find the most compelling player for a character, and it's great because in a Guild where life forces folks in and out of games often you have somewhere to start (the person who wasn't picked) in moving on from a drop. I've also been surprised by the people that weren't picked the first time. I know it forces people out of a comfort zone in a hobby, but there are pluses for it.Maybe make sure you get a few opinions on each competing CS?
Well between Gowi and I, or anyone else he deputizes I'm pretty sure we can be fair and equal judges on competing CS's.
