Sheriff Colton

Location: Redlake Cafe
Interacting With: Charlie @smarty0114 and Sophie @Ace of flames01

Sheriff Colton gave a small smile when Charlie asked for more information, his mother had told him once that he was into that mysterious stuff. Well, did Dave have something to tell him.

"As a matter of fact Charlie, I get calls about sightings mainly and when I get out to the site I usually never find anything. Rarely any tracks at all and I'm just left shaking my head. But this morning I was at the lake and I kid you not, I found tracks. Here's the kicker, the tracks vanished into thin air. It was if the wolf just sprouted wings and flew away." said the sheriff jokingly. He couldn't help but grin, the story was ridiculous. What wolf could fly?

Eventually his food was about out by the Fairchild girl, Sophie was her name right? He didn't really know her that well, just that her family lived in town. They seemed like pretty decent folks.

"Ah, Ms. Fairchild, thank you kindly. Colton said as he gave a slight smile at her before taking a bite of his sandwich. My god, was it good. Dave came to this cafe for a reason and it mainly because of the food, boy was he proud of this place. Though he did need to try out the new Cafe, something Jake's or another. He took another bite and listened to what Sophie had to say.

"Sophie, was it? The only problem with your theory bout the migrating wolf pack, is that there are no wild wolves in Pennsylvania. The only thing close to that is a sanctuary, and I bet we would have heard something from them if one of their wolves got loose." He took a drink of his milkshake before continuing, "There might be a small chance that this wolf has migrated from an incredible distance to come here, but it is slim. Thats why this is all just strange, a wolf here is a big deal. If we don't find it soon, I'm going to make a call to the PGC, see if they can find it. Now rumors are just rumors, and the people naturally make things up for what the can't believe. But a werewolf? An intriguing idea." He smiled at Sophie when he said that.

Colton finished his meal, wiped his mouth with a napkin and pulled out his wallet. He dropped the necessary amount and a little more to cover the tip.

He stood up and said to the both of them, "Keep the change kids and remember to be safe outdoors. Have a nice night. The sheriff then collected himself and turned for the door.

"Hey there Charlie, It's good to see you working and staying out of trouble." The Sheriff paused and looked at the menu one last time, "I think I'll have the number three, a ham and cheese sandwich and some Doritos. I'll also have a vanilla shake please."

Dave looked around the Cafe, not seeing a lot of the regular workers he had grown accustomed too over the months. He placed the menu down in front and eyed Charlie again.

"So I take it you kids are going out on that camping trip again?" He rubbed his head and sighed, "Just remember to be safe and always be able to contact the proper authorities if the need arrives." Sheriff Colton then relaxed his hand and quite seriously said, "Also, it'll be highly unlikely but, if you see the wolf that everyone is talking about, call the sheriff's office immediately, alright?"

The Sheriff then relaxed a bit, cracking his knuckles as he waited for to see what Charlie's response would be. Granted he knew more then he should know about the boy, he thought the kid had a good heart. The only problem was the occasional phone call he got about upset parents, telling him about Charlie's sexual interaction with their daughter. He really couldn't do anything about that but smile, he was a horny teenager after all.
Lucius smiled for once when Mozu took his hand. He had no idea what he had just started but as long as she was happy then he would be to. How odd it must be, walking through Linore. He honestly did not know how this would work out, he wanted to be a human and she wanted to be a weredog. Yet, there was somehow a mutual attraction between the two of them and one of them would have to sacrifice their entire way of life. Lucius was not sure if he would be able to do it, the thought of being a child of the dark haunted him but for now he would enjoy her company.

Eventually their relaxed walk got them to a vendor who sold odd trinkets and ends. Before they had gotten their Lucius finally was able to grab some money, just in case they wanted anything. His health was not yet at one hundred percent but he was happy and that was all that mattered. The vendor was able to spot Mozu out right away, Lucius guessed it was the ears that gave her away, how adorable they were.

Lucius stared at Mozu intently, watching her gaze at the rocks with a smile upon his face he answered the vendor, " I guess I am." He then looked at the elf and stated, "I'll take the rock she chooses."

Location: The Lake then Cafe
Time: 6:00am to 12:45pm
Interacting With: Officer Jackson, People at the Redlake Cafe

"I don't like this Jackson, there are wolf tracks everywhere then they just disappear. People have spotted the damn thing all around this region yet when push comes to shove, we haven't found shit. I mean, wolves just don't disappear do they? No scat, no animal carcasses. I don't like it." said a disgruntled Dave. He was crouched down just in some woods next to the famous Redlake. His eyes were wondering around a small patch of dirt were the wolves tracks abruptly ended. It was as if the damn thing just shot up and flew away.

he got up and turned to look at the rookie, Jackson. Just got out of training and fresh by all accounts. Jackson didn't even look like he had been paying attention, instead he was gazing out at the water.

"Jackson!"

Jackson jumped slightly before turning to face the Sheriff, "Ah shit sir, wolves are finicky critters I heard. Don't know much about em though. It'll probably run out of here eventually, just you wait."

Sheriff Colton sighed, as much as he wanted to disagree with Jackson, he was probably right. If on the off chance he was wrong though and the wolf did become a problem, well he let the though drift away as he gazed at the lake as well.

Finally he motioned for Jackson to move on, "Come on, lets get back to town. You have your patrols to do and I have paperwork. Joy."

After what seemed like an age, Sheriff Colton grudgingly filled out reports and other essential items of business. It was high passed twelve-thirty when his stomach began to grumble. Time for some lunch and a much needed break, his hands had began to cramp up.

As he left the building, he was thankful that not much had happened that day. Well not yet at least. Colton shook his head, boy oh boy did he enjoy quiet days.

After a short drive he reached the tne Red Lake Cafe, an old place that he enjoyed he enjoye and that meant it was alright in his books. He opened the door, to be greeted by the aroma of food. It made his mouth water.

Sheriff Colton walked up the the counter and took a seat at on of the bar stools and looked through the menu. He'd wait to place his order.
Lucius did not say anything as Mozu hopped up on the bed with him. Her body warmth stopped him from shivering and it felt oddly satisfying. When Mozu said that she liked him, Lucius did not know what to do. The notion of liking another person was not beyond him, but he had never thought someone from the other side would like him and this confused him greatly. How could something like that ever work? One could not stay on the other's side for more then a day and even then, they would grow weaker by the minute. Lucius frowned, a life like that would be incredibly difficult to live. There was only one viable solution, and that was him becoming a werewolf or a weredog. He still wasn't so sure about what Mozu really was.

As she stood up and changed to her human form again, Lucius realized that she was young. He had never really looked at her in great detail, mainly because she was always naked so it was awkward but now, she was quite cute. Mozu even got clothes for him, much to the wizard's surprise. He changed, all the while watching her give the apothecaries her fur and nail clippings. All of this was for him? He could have payed but realized his money was in the banking system and he did not know were one of those were in Linore.

Lucius sighed, feeling much warmer and a bit flustered. The werewolf girl before him was just full of surprises and even the Knight of Angels was at a loss for words. It could not work he told himself, pain would just be inevitable so why was he walking closer to her? He stood behind Mozu and gave her a hug, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"How about you show me around town? I could use the fresh air." He said softly to her. Perhaps there was a chance, slim as it might be but who was he to change fate?

Location: Police Station then Billy's House
Time: 5:23am to 11am
Interacting With: Parents, Daisy May

It was just a dream right? Or just a bad nightmare, any moment he would wake up and it would all be over, right? Billy pinched himself, no, he was not waking up from this one. This was his reality now, just another punch that he couldn't walk away from. Just another reminder that world was cruel.

His parents had awoken the hidden figure beneath his warm sheets at 5:23, a time now etched in his mind. They told him to get dressed quickly and come downstairs. Billy protested but when his eyes finally adjusted and he saw the look on his mother's face, he knew something was definitely wrong. His mother was a person who always had a smile on her face but now, there were tears in her eyes. Tired as he was, Billy got dressed with haste and met his parents downstairs.

Both of them looked awful, his mother's face was red with tears and his dad looked incredibly worn down and pale. He sat down across from them in the living room, he was incredibly nervous. His mind was abuzz with thoughts and why they seemed so... sad.

"Billy," his father began, "Your sister..." his voice broke and tears even came to his eyes. "Emily was found dead last night."

The room became deathly silent as the young man realized what his father had just told him. It took him about a minute to put it together, Emily was dead. Death means that something isn't alive anymore. Emily is his sister but she was dead, so that meant Emily was his sister? Oh god, Emily was dead.

He broke down, and he cried for what seemed like an age, then he cried again. His parents hugged him closely that morning and he did the same to them, as Daisy May and Tasha waited patiently for some affection too.

It was around eleven when his mother knocked on his door, "Billy, you should come and eat something dear."

Billy was laying under his covers, desperately trying to sleep but it did not come to him.

"I'm not hungry mom." Was the only thing he managed to say. His mom did not say anything back.

His head felt like it was drowning in sadness and he could only imagine what his parents were going through. He did not have to be the one to call relatives and convey the message even further.

Still, he was heartbroken. Emily was his older sister, who had been attending college at Penn State for some type of medical degree. Why hadn't he asked her more about? There was a lot of things he should have done now that he started to think about it. Chief among them was saying goodbye one last time, but it would never happen now.

Daisy May jumped on the bed and gave a small meow. His black little kitten walked over to him and nudged his head with hers. She always wanted attention but... did she know? He slowly sat up and looked at Daisy, and she looked back at him with giant eyes. He began to cry softly again and picked her up, holding the kitten to his chest.

Her purring was the only thing that sent him back to sleep.
It was all hazy, was he really being dragged over land to a another place? Nevertheless by a dog, no, a werewolf who had a fascination with him? It was all so foggy, Lucius felt like he was drifting on a breeze, but he felt strangely at peace, knowing that wherever Mozu was taking him, he would be safe. Once again, the Knight of Angels drifted back into sleep.

He did not dream, least not any that he could remember and when he awoke in a strange room he could taste oranges, how odd. He was tired but did not want to rest anymore so he sat up, looking down at himself he was in fresh clothing, all of which was pure white though he had no shoes on. He wondered where is old attire was, then remembered it was basically useless. Jeeze, he must have looked like a dead man when Mozu dragged him in here, covered in blood and all manner of grime. Speaking of which, where was Mozu?

Lucius got up slowly, his head hurt slightly- probably from being dragged across bumpy terrain and he felt shaky. How long had it been? A couple of hours at least, no more or less as he looked out the window to see a bustling town. That was odd, there was a lot of shady looking individuals out there, then it hit him- he was at a border town.

"Damnit Mozu, I guess that's what I get for fainting." he said weakly. He saw a pitcher of water next to the bed he had been laying on and a cup. He poured the water and let its blank taste fill his dry mouth. It felt good to be replenished but Lucius knew he was in no condition to leave. He was so cold and miserable that he got back in the bed and tried to get warm. Right now would be the perfect time to have a cuddle buddy he thought but then realized the only one who would probably do that was the werewolf.

"Oh gods, get warm get warm Lucius." he said nervously before gripping himself.
