Bio
Hi all! It's Ana back from the void. I had some pretty intense months IRL, but the witch is back and ready to brew up a wonderful little story haha~ Here are my terms for OnexOne, dearlings~ Look it over and let's see if our tastes can create a lovely RP feast for you and me!
Length:
Medium causal to low advanced. I am a bit carnivorous and need a good bit of meat in the posts I get from my partners. Don't let me go hungry, huhuhu~ Like wise, I shall try to feed you with, at the very least posts of two and a half paragraphs in length or more. It's all about give and take, right~?
Mature Topics:
I can do smut and cursing, but let's try to keep it classy? I have a little brother on this site and I'd be mortified for him to find anything that isn't at least trying to be creative in word choice. Plus there are so many ways to keep things interesting and detailed without being crass or vulgar.
And while we are on the topic, I also feel that my mature RPs should be done with 18 and older roleplayers. Same goes with characters: 18 and older, preferably in the 20s, or nothing more than love fluff. You get Angel Food cake, you hear? Only 18 and up get to have Devil's Food.
And Romance doesn't have to be sappy. It can be that they hate each other in the beginning, but have attraction. Maybe they stay enemies. Maybe they unite but still don't trust one another. And maybe she is a hellion and he is cool calm and collected. Or maybe they both have bad tempers. There are so many possibilities! Romance doesn't always mean sappy fluff, but can include dark and more twisted passion. Huhuhu~ That's why there is a 'mature 18+ rating' on the door. ;P
Historical Topics:
Many, if not all, of my RPs involve some sort of historical quality. While I am no history buff, I like things to be believable. Call me nit picky and strict, but I don't like my Vikings calling my Heroine "babe" or "chick". It's odd and jars me right out of the RP.
Have Courage, Dearlings:
I won't bite you. :P I know I may seem strict on what I want, but this is just so we can both get what we want out of RP. If it isn't working, let's not be afraid to say so. Nothing is more painful than trying to feign interest in something you just are not interested in. Let's agree to talk to each other. Compromise and communication can solve many things. I am always open to suggestions once we agree on something to start with. OOC chat threads were made just for these kinds of things. So let's be friendly, yea? :3
One Final Thing:
I am looking to play the female character. I am looking for MY female character to be paired with a male character. I only clarify this because there have been misunderstandings in the past and it got reeeeeal awkward.
And so there is no confusion, I feel I must state it plainly somewhere in my current request: I would like to be the main female character. Thank you very much~ ;3
Dᴀᴛᴇ: Sᴇᴘᴛᴇᴍʙᴇʀ, Tᴜᴇsᴅᴀʏ 8ᴛʜ. Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: First Day Iɴᴛᴇʀᴀᴄᴛɪᴏɴs: The cafeteria and Kassy Boy @Thane, Ezera @King Tai, Amelia @carla6677, Sadie @alexfangtalon, and whoever else happens in on this funk'd up bizz
Kassy Boy had given a compliment that was worded in such a way that her face turned a bit red. She was by no means someone that drew fantasies to hormonal boys, but even if what he said was to lighten the atmosphere, it still was a bit flattering. After all, she was a willowy little thing, so it was a grand compliment. From him at least. If anyone else were to say something like that, she would have smacked them smartly across the cheek. Or poked both of their eyes. Either one. Both were good.
But it was Kas, and he was special, so she just smiled her sunflower warm smile. Till everything went all tilt-a-whirl, of course. Amelia was hurt and crying, hugging on Ezera and for the most part all Poetry could do was look to Kas. And boy did his face change real quick. Profanities aside, it would be an understatement to say that the boys were pissed.
And then of course another girl stepped onto the scene. Cautiously, the blonde fae of a girl slipped over to Kas's side. Perhaps he wasn't a boyfriend, as the flustered Ezera had misinterpreted, but he was as close as it got for her. She wasn't very confrontational, but even this was a bit jarring to the senses. As the tall temperamental boy said, it wasn't as if the guys could step into the fight. A girl though... She glanced over at Sadie. Would she step in? Seemed as though she and the red-haired girl were friends...
“I am afraid I am all in the air about this," she murmured towards Kas's question, her fingers nervously intertwining with one another as she chewed on the inside of her cheek. It all seemed rather blown out of proportion, if she were to have any opinion. But as her grandmother always said, 'everything was the end of the world when the kids are trippin' on hormones'. Now Poetry could sort of see what she meant.
Finally, having far more than enough of the dramatics of this whole thing, she looked down then slowly let her blue eyes travel up onto Mitzie. Stepping forwards, she pushed her hands down to her side and turned on a one hundred watt smile that not for one moment reached her eyes. A burning smile with ice cold eyes. And it was all aimed at the source of the problem.
"Hello~" she wiggled her fingers, stepping in front of the wobbly girl who was causing so many problems, "Hi! Nice to meet you~ I am Poetry and this," she gestured around her with sweeping arms, "is the very public place of the cafeteria filled with people who find this girl," she gestured to Amelia, "far more empathetic than you, Miss Anatgonist~" She pushed her hand to her mouth, letting her fingers push into her cheek, in a mock questioning confusion.
"I wonder why?" she snapped her fingers, like an air-head who had just found the solution, "Ah! Yes, that is right!" She stopped smiling, every inch of her below-freezing. "It's because this is the very first day and no one knows who you are," her usually bright cheerfulness was dulled into cold apathetic dryness, "All we know about you is that you flirt with other people's boyfriends, screech like a wild animal in the middle of lunch, and are for some reason claiming some offense at a rather beaten down girl we do know."
She advanced and place her hand on her hips. "Frankly, you are not at any sort of advantage here," she smiled her then, that grin on fire as her cold eyes pierced through the shallow terrible girl, "So perhaps you should try to build up evidence and support before ruining everyone's lunch with such a weak case as this." She leaned back on her heels, like she was being playful with a new friend. "Oh, and of course getting suspended for fighting on the first day really isn't ideal~"
"I think I'd do as our wonderfully level-headed friend here says," she gestured to Ezera and Selene @RBYDark, "And just let sleeping dogs lie for today." The blonde clapped her hands together, tilting her head to the side, "After all, it would be terrible to be the most hated person in the entire school on the very first day, now wouldn't it?"
Talk about a one-eighty. Perhaps it was because Poetry just couldn't stand seeing people having a rough time or that she just down right disliked the cheddar out of this girl, but she was like fire and ice. The section of the lunchroom they were gathered in had gone quiet to listen to all the dramatics, but a pissed off Poetry wasn't one to get very diplomatic. Not when someone was being down right dipzy. Her eyes were like pale blue spears, slicing through that Mitz-Bit girl. Selene could be good cop, but Poetry was going for bad cop. And even a few seniors could feel a shiver going down their spine as her eyes pressed into the wobbly antagonist.
@Stitches@ReaptheMusic you both bring up really good points and ideas. Let's use the mentions tab IC with whomever we're interacting with. It's also my bad for throwing everyone into the story without proper introductions.
I shift most of the blame on big ol stupid Gaignun though.
Oh, I think you are doing just fine! It hasn't been difficult to keep up. Everything made sense to me.
Yeah, I'm also getting the feeling people aren't reading the IC posts too carefully when they go to reply. It's very confusing; I don't think there's been a post yet where I haven't gone "wait, what?" Because it's either not explained clearly or there's some sort of misunderstanding.
I can only speak for my posts, and as I said Chiyoe is quick to think anything from human males is condescending or insulting. XD That's her perspective.
Thing was is that she has a complex about since many Nure-Onago actually end like that. Like her mother, who she believes is a personal prostitute for one mortal man.
She has a big problem with things like that.
Not really anyone else's fault but she'd love a reason to get a little berserk. She's a bit off the rocker. ;)
Thou claim'est Lady Chiyoe of having the fate of those with too much hubris?! Well I say to thee, have at ye! I bite my thumb at thine accusations! Have at ye!
Chiyoe let the water from his pipe from mist to its liquid form, enjoying how it would snake about her fingers in a long thread. The little child-like looking oni made her painted lips turn down slightly, but other than that she didn’t react very much. Perhaps an untrained ear thought his human voice wasn’t so bad, but for some reason Chiyoe found everything about him…grating. And the oni that could pass for a child: even more annoying. Insinuating that she were nothing better than a courtesan or brothel worker! She would never end up like that! She’d rather break the treaty than end up like her shell of a mother, a mockery of everything it was to be Nure-Onna!
Her grandmother always said that she had more of a temper than was fashionable, but that it would dull with time. And she was young, as far as oni aging went. But that was a reasonable root of her power. When she was aged, her power would stem from knowledge and experience. But for now, she was all raw energy and sparking tempered-inexperience. With a raised head, an almost haughty smirk, she contemplated giving the tiny irritating oni a good whip with the water that coiled about her fingers. Now that would be amusing.
The very definite impression of being watched crossed over her skin. Someone was watching her. The corner of her mouth tilted slightly. Why did it seem that everyone had such a low opinion of her? That she was just some weakling dressed in finery, with no comprehension of battle, and merely there for their amusement? Her? An entertainer? Quite wrong, indeed.
Looking over at the elven-oni female and the flaming warrior who rode by her, she stared intently at both of them, wondering why they were discussing her when she was in plain sight. But it was just shallow advice given on assumptions to the fire-warrior. And if they would not ask her of her own opinion about her opinion on his being near the supplies, then she would not reply. But her deep gaze did stay on him with some curiosity for a moment longer than proper, before turning her attentions back to the crude and vulgar human male.
Her entertainment for them? Hardly. This was her entertainment. The amount of rage she had inside her was destructive. And this caravan voyage was to be her outlet for decades of anger. Well, they’d see her true self soon enough. And who cared what they thought of her anyway? Odds being what they were, many of them would hardly cross paths in the future. She looked at the human female examining each oni with alerted caution from her horse. And some of their party would be dead in a few decades anyway.
Standing on the roof of the supply cart, she fixed narrow eyes on the human male. Thinly veiled disgust formed on her doll-like features. He thought her a geisha for his amusement! Arrogant mortal. And what’s more he thought that the oni who appeared in a child-like way was her offspring! Revolting, insulting, insufferable low-life! Why she should send his pipe’s water up his nose, down into his body and squeeze his stuttering heart till it burst! Her eyes glowed red, but her face didn’t betray her anger at the moment, except for narrowing eyes. “Revolting,” she murmured softly, the water spearing into the wood by his leg, like an arrow, before turning back into lifeless liquid. She turned her head and began to ignore him.
A booming voice shot through the air like thunder, making Chiyoe turn her head in the giant of an Oni, dropping down on bent knees, her free hand pressed to the roof. The supply cart shuddered with the force of that voice. The Nure Onago was perfectly still, red parasol on her shoulder, eyes scanning for any sign of danger. Everything was still for those few moments, the giant aka oni glaring at the caravan party. But Chiyoe heard it.
A young voice or perhaps a woman's voice crying out for help. She looked up in alert, like a cat who's attention had been drawn. Footsteps were racing towards them. And then the rumble of the ground. Narrowing her eyes, they glowed a deep violent red. They waited. A boy stumbled out onto the road, shirtless and young, wearing a rather wonderful helmet. A helmet far too above his social standing. And there the crest of Ameratsu lay. Just what was going on?
The Nure Onago didn't wait for the mortal child's response, her head snapping over to the rumbling crash through the forest line where the boy had emerged. From 100 feet away, the tree line toppled over and very large demon came stampeding toward the caravan. Ten feet tall and enraged. Her eyes darted down to the helmet the boy wore, the mortal now seated on Gaignun's reptilian steed. It was Gaignun charged first. It was a fearsome display on the aka oni's part. Very impressive. Chiyoe's respect for him grew.
The beast was felled and one of it's legs slammed into the supply chart. Chiyoe's grimaced and jumped into the air. Everyone else could deal with the beast. But humans needed to eat and stay warm at night, and all of them needed the weapons, so she took it upon herself to protect the supplies. Thrusting a hand out, she took water from the felled trees and put them to use in securing the chart before any real damage could be done to it's innards. Pushing it safely off to the side, her feet settling gracefully onto the earth, her glowing red eyes went to the boy. Leave it to her to take the side of the oni beast and lay suspicion on a human child but...
@ReaptheMusic hahaha~ no one ever said she had to stick to logic XD for as much as she was raised a lady, she really likes to act of her emotions and whims
