Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Your crew were quite happy to receive their cut of the plunder. As soon as you gave them permission to leave, most chatted about spending their earnings on wrenches and booze, lamenting that they haven't had good drink since last time they were on land. Hurrik opted to stay on the ship, saying that he will watch over it but will likely leave later a night for his own pleasure. Nyx also intended to pursue the market and see if there's anything of use for her there. Thus the rest of the men went to look for a pub. Soon Theresa would have some of her men come to the docks and haul away the cargo and secure the elves. With everything sorted, it was time to celebrate.

The crew would find a comfortable watering hole called Salt Rock Shots, a dockside pub popular with sailors and pirates such as yourself. They're named after their special drink: The Salt Rock Shot, a small but potent booze that was lined with salt on the edges, giving it a distinctive burn and texture. The owner of the tavern was a grizzled looking lizardman by the name of Crasher. He had a few barmaids who served drinks, a single chef working the kitchen, and other maidens who would tend to men's more personal pleasures. It wasn't long before a few of your crew members slipped off with these women, leaving you with only Kulee and Oliver as drinking partners.

"So captain, what's next for us?" Kulee would ask as he puts down a coin for a round of ale for the three of you. It was a strong, dark stout. "I hear a war is brewing to the north. Could find opportunity for plunder there." Oliver downs his drink quickly and soon a bar maiden would come by to refill it. "I'm sure there's some bounties we can go after. Too many hunters and not enough prey. I'm sure if we take a few heads of rival captains, the bounty and plunder will make us rich!" The goliath seems uninterested in Oliver's proposal and still looks to you. "Mercenary work can also be used to clear your bounty, captain. Well... Assuming officials are willing to contract us in the first place."

None aside from what they would normally get for simply being pirates. Generally speaking piracy can get you up to 10 years of hard labor, or even execution if it suits the fancy of whoever captured you. Most bounties are privately contracted though, such as the one on Hector. Talogan is the only one with a government bounty on his head.
Tyrael looked down at Gossk as he kneel before the orc. Tyrael had no idea why the lizardman was doing that, but he wasn't going to say anything about it. It doesn't seem like either three of them knew how to operate the skiff, but perhaps one of the slave women did. It would certainly be in their best interest to utilize it if they wanted to return to their homes alive; Tyrael had no intentions of sharing his supplies with them if he was to go on foot. In any case, Gossk explained how one of his spells worked to Tyrael in a way that he would understand through the creature's broken common. In short, Far Stride was a sort of movement spell that would allow them to quickly traverse the dunes and ward off the harmful effects of nature during it's duration. Very useful, though ideally they'll use the Skiff instead. Gossk seems to have a firm understanding of common even if his ability to speak it wasn't very great, so Tyrael felt no need to dumb down his explanation of the spell he'll use on Gossk. Fortunately, most orcs aren't too keen on flowering up their descriptions anyways.

"The spell I'll use on you will make you bigger, and stronger. With that strength pull the skiff from the stones and I shall use my magics to repair it. We'll have those women operate the boat, if they know how. Otherwise we'll have to figure it out ourselves, or at worse, walk." With no other issues to address, Tyrael would use his Size Shift spell on Gossk, turning the already large and imposing creature into an even more massive beast, at least twenty-feet tall if not bigger. His increase in size also increased his weight, creating massive footprints in the sand big enough that Tyrael could've buried all five corpses in a single hole and there'd still be room for more. "This spell will only last for ten minutes. Move quickly." Tyrael would stand out of Gossk's way so he can safely pull or possibly even lift the sand skiff out from the rocks and somewhere more open where it can be repaired and ready to sail back through the dunes. Meanwhile Tyrael looked over Lynn and the other three women.

"Are any of you have healing abilities?" Tyrael says while clutching his arm. It was wrapped so tightly it felt numb to him. "There's no guarantee our travel to Kalla will be safe. I need whatever healing you can provide if I'm to fight against any further threats during our travels."
@Inkarnate

Different strokes for different folks. Take care of yourself and when the time is right for you I’m sure you’ll be welcomed back. The boss man just needs to put you in a dormant state for now and we’Lel do what we gotta do. Don’t sweat it.

@BurningDaisies

Good to know, good to know. Naturally the skeleton servants will gladly tend to any kittens as they demand, and Mamoru is always good at doing hard CC against anything soft and cuddly. As for the rabbits let’s just say Bone Daddy has an offering to all and any Chapter Lords who desire to partake in the fruits of his labor.
How does he feel about being randomly selected to be carried around and played with by a certain metal maid and what are his thoughts about naive fat bunnies also populating the chateau as a resident cute fluffy creature?
"Of course I'm okay, idiot! You... You stupid girl, you literally grabbed the fireball! How are you even still alive!?" Pylia was close to tears too, barely maintaining her composure as she used some of her magic to heal you. It was enough to prevent your burns from scarring, and aside from slightly singed hair you were back to full. Aisha was accompanied by some regular looking guardsmen and had the knights cuffed and arrested, while she had another pair cover Erandel's body. Once you and Pylia finished having your moment, Aisha walked over looking stern as ever. "Sylvia, I've received word that you had taken part of this investigation again, despite lacking Shor's immediate permission. I understand you spoke to Yorik however... Yorik does not have the authority to deputize civilians into the guard. I hope you understand that we'll need to take you and your friends in as culprits for what happened here." Hearing this immediately put Pylia on edge, angry at what Atisha was saying. "What the hells are you saying!? We've always been helping you guys with the crime in the city, and this is how you thank us?" Even Shortfang chimed in with a glare. "Not crime to stop bad guys. And they attack first! Crazy man tell guardsman to kill us, so we defend us!"

Atisha sighed but remained stone faced. "If this was any other rabble, even just the Lightning Company themselves, I could overlook what happened here and simply let the four of you go. However Erandel is the son of nobility, and with that there is much more scrutiny in every detail of what's happening here." Atisha looked at you directly. Her glare was hard, yet there was a hint of sympathy as well. Like someone who knows you're innocent, but also knows that you're in deep trouble. "Let me be plain to you. Whatever you heard, whatever you saw, no one else will believe it. Shor didn't want you all involved because we needed a stronger case than simply witness testimony that Erandel was engaged in anything that threatens the city. Those thugs you arrested were paid off that's true, but the content of the note itself made no clear indication that Erandel has anything to do with it. Even his escape from his manor means nothing if we have no proof he was trying to escape and not simply leaving for his own personal reasons." The dark elf rubbed the bridge of her nose and let our a sharp exhale.

"Let's return to the garrison for now and wait for Shor and the others. Don't get the wrong idea, I know you all were doing the right thing. But there are laws in place in this city to prevent people from just being vigilantes and taking justice into their own hands, especially when they harm the nobility and aristocrats who sponsors the guards and pay upkeep to the city. And now with Erandel dead, if people started asking questions they'll sooner make sure you see the executioner's block before you see a prison. I don't intend to let anyone do that to you though. So please, come with me."
Ten-Nee lowered her guns as it seems that the two groups had come to an agreement. Silently Kas left to fetch the barrel she was carrying before follower Delima and Bridget up to where Diamond was at. Fortunately for Diamond, the door closed and locked behind her, preventing the two girls from realizing she had a key inside. Though she remained on guard, Ten-Nee resummarized the situation for Diamond. "My name is Ten-Nee. This girl is Kas. We're both revenants just trying to survive here. If you want our help, you three can try and take on a lost deeper in the tunnels. We've decided to call her Salome, and she's a nasty one. She lures you in by sounding like a crying girl, but by the time you're too close, she'll attack you. Last time we saw her she was gigantic, with a goat head and a big furry arm. She takes advantage of his giant size to crush you inside of the tunnels, so try and fight her in a more open area."

As she spoke, Kas looked at the three girls. Her eyes were hidden, but those looking at her would catch a glimpse of gold. "There is another... Below... Who can help... Our friends..." She spoke in stilted sentences, like she was trying to start a new sentence each time. But she didn't elaborate as she walked towards the door, opening with a keycard in her pocket and putting the barrel inside. Ten-Nee tapped her mask before remembering one more thing. "There is also... Another man who's sometimes down here. He's a friend of ours named Domus. He's not very strong so... So keep him alive! If he dies, a lot of bad shit will happen!" Kas looks to Ten-Nee. "Ten-nee... Language."

After grabbing the extra ichor, Ambrosial would continue on his path down the tunnels. He would notice that the land mines were more sporadically spread, suggesting this stretch isn't nearly as traveled. But soon he'll heard the sounds of gunfire in the distance. It wouldn't be long before he'd come across the two young boys again locked in combat against a large horde of lost. Most of them appeared to be simply thrall variants, but there were a few Euphoric Soldier types: these were more competent Losts with better equipment and combat skills. Despite vastly outnumbering the boys however, they did not cower nor seemed particularly worried. The larger boy with the gun was expertly moving through the crowd of Lost, gunning down the thralls. He's notably avoiding shooting the Euphoric Soldiers, who were armed with shields and actively guarding. Likely the child knew to take on the lost who lacked the defensive means to protect themselves. However Ambrosial could not see where the other child was at from his position.

The young boy, the one who Ambrosial could deduce is Yazzy, was doing well enough on his own but he was still outnumbered twelve-to-one. His Light Automatic was only slowly chipping away at the Lost, and they were closing in on him. If nothing is done soon, they will overwhelm the boy by sheer numbers alone, and there was no telling if there were any others coming or already there.
It was strange what you saw. Like two different videos showing what would happen if you did or didn’t do something. It came and went in a second and by the time you could blink, the dagger was already in your hands. You could feel the head burning your fingers and palm as the weapon exploded right in your face. Miraculously, you came out relatively well. Your hair was smokey, your hands burnt, but you managed to protect your face thanks to the robes, and they didn’t even look damaged.

Your friends stood in awe and shock. Even the knights looked at you with a mixture of astonishment and even a little fear. Naturally it was Buddy who was the first to return to their senses as he punched the surrendering knight in the face, knocking him out. Upon doing so Pylia came to her senses as well and took out some rope to tie up the two. Shortfang came up to your side, looking at the now charred corpse of Erendal. “He crazy man! Kill himself with fire, why?” The kobold tried to search the body, but the flames burned the corpse to a bloody black mass. Whatever he had on him was reduced to charred ash, even the dagger crumbled into dust.

You could hear heavy footsteps down the alley and the familiar voice of Atisha barking out orders. Seems that she was just seconds too late to the party. Pylia walked over to you and looked at your hands. “Sylvia, you’re hurt! What you did, that was crazy!”
Guards are still alive (they’re well out of the blast radius), and with that you fail to deflect the knife, but you do manage to catch it in time to catch only you and Erendal. He’s as good as dead, but everyone else is safe. Using your previous dex and taking into account your fire resistance, you only take 8 points of fire damage.

Feel free to edit your post to reflect what just happened, as if you have seen fate and would go to defy it. It’s one of those moments.
