locations - Still vote forge and Darc himself is endorsing it IC. Perhaps an isolated mountain workshop/mine. That ought to give everyone the space they need once we can start tunneling projects.

monsters - I wanna run into some real ugly, horrifying eldritch abominations just to make Darc feel at home once he later becomes a twisted flesh being. It’ll also be a good sort of reminder that we aren’t the top dog yet when there’s some unfathomable horror lurking over at the lake ready to throw down when he’s done contemplating the cosmos or whatever great old ones do in their free time.

factions - don’t have many strong feels about this one, though I imagine there may be some mercenary group or adventuring guild who’ll be our usual adversary. Perhaps a frontier town that we can slowly corrupt or sabotage so we can raid and take over the place ourselves.

good-guy - also don’t have much of an opinion on this one. Send whoever you feel would suit us best. Though I think it’ll be a good time to fight celestials and angels just to build our cred, and so Darc can consume their bodies and rise to divinity that way. I’m a sucker for slaying the forces of heaven.

@VeyrinDay Yeah that's fair. One person's taboo is another person's culture. And if Baganaria really plans to be a Monster Lord, she can't be a mere follower of a god after all.

@Kenshi Let them be. You can tell a person's worth by the friends they keep, and if their friends hypocrites and sheep, that speaks more about the person. Things they can't admit to.

If nothing else, Darc was never a religious slime. He'll just motion to Baganaria for all the weird stuff religion turns people into. Or maybe he can use her as "proof" of how even worshipers of the dark god can be "faithful heretics" to their own gods, to corrupt conventional mortal worshipping people into committing atrocities in the name of their light gods. Like being a catholic priest.

But then again you are a heretic, perhaps even the ultimate heretic at that. You'll never be accepted by the Gods of Light because of who you are and your teachings are blatantly against the usual tenets of your dark god. You're like the ultimate rebel.

Yeah I saw that, what confuses me is the term antithetical. That means "the opposite" of your god's domain. So if Iziza covers Seduction and Tricky, you should be defiling something that is the "opposite" of Seduction and Trickery that is also considered sacred and beautiful. Hence my example of seducing a married man since you're defiling the "beauty" of matrimony. And by forcing the affair, that's also dishonest and a form of trickery. At least that's how I think of it.

Again I could be wrong, more conceptually I just think it's weird that you're a follower of Iziza while blatantly going against her own tenets, yet still getting power from it. When you mentioned being a heretic I just thought you meant relative to the gods of light, not being a heretic towards the gods of darkness.

To put it another way, it'll be like if you were a follower of a war god and you gain his blessing by promoting nonviolence and saving lives with medicine and therapy.

@VeyrinDay Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Defiler meant for you to desecrate other gods stuff so you can envoke your deity's power? Like if Iziza domain covers lust and such, I figured a Defiling moment would be something like seducing a husband to break the bond of love and marriage. Or throwing acid on a beautiful person's face so their beauty isn't as great as yours/your deity.

Gotta know how humans think so you know how to beat them. Not being subtle and just throwing your weight around is how the first dungeon got crushed. They sent some serious muscle to clear the dungeon and none of us were strong of enough to stop them, even with the old lord's help and preparation. Darc doesn't intend to repeat that mistake and this time make sure their victories don't attract the the local army or adventuring guild.

Depending on the nature of the raid, we might need her talking abilities to get us through where force and finesse cannot. For example maybe we might need to raid a village and need to know what sort of defenses are there. Sure, Darc could skulk and keep watch, but Baganaria could also just go in and talk to the villagers, maybe even convince certain characters to not be present when we raid the village so there's less people around without risking combat or blowing out cover.

I'm mostly mentioning this since the raids themselves is where most of the action is going to happen, at least that's what the GM implies. Would be bad if @VeyrinDay basically doesn't get to participate during the more action-pack part of the RP just because she's not a direct combatant.
