Current To those I RP with, I haven't dropped off of the face of the earth, just had a mental health crash but am recovering. Now to catch up on posting.

The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Judging by the Internet's definitions of introversion and extraversion, you'd think everyone's either an extreme hermit or a party animal with no in between.

Bio

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

Emma

@Aurliena Nova

"Y-Yeah, tell me about it," Emma panted, rubbing the marks on her arms. Her head drooped slightly. Between all the running and the excessive use of magic she had no idea yet how to control, her usually abundant reserves of energy had burned out.

Maia craned her neck, doing puppy-dog eyes at Emma. "Sorry," she whimpered.

"It's alright," Emma reassured the dragon, reaching down and patting her. "You didn't know." Maia took a clumsy step forward, looking almost as tired as Darthun. "Come on," Emma said, picking up the dragon. It was like holding a heavy bundle of sticks. "We should get some rest."

She headed back towards the castle alongside Eun-mi, her pace considerably slower than before. So that was magic. That was what it could do. She thought of nature's two sides, the nurturing side that gave and sustained life, and the brutal, chaotic side that took it. A shudder ran through her. She spoke the word that opened the doors, making absolutely sure to say it properly, and plodded inside. Apart from the very simplest of spells such as that one, she decided, no more magic until Dr Nidhogg had taught her how to use it.
@Aspen Wren @Aurliena Nova I think I can post. I managed to reply to another RP.
@fer1323 Thanks. I'm going to be ok.

Whew, emotional post! Sophia's the kind of person who very rarely apologises, but when she does, she really does, to an excessive degree.
Sophia Danvers

Sophia straightened up, looking in the direction of the Pokecentre for any sign of Kero. Her anxiety grew with each passing moment. He shouldn't have been gone that long. Had the Pokemon's conditions worsened? Her stomach clenched painfully again, but she had nothing left to throw up.

"Rheese... Watch her," she said before leaving the group, heading down the path to the Pokecentre. Kero was the last person she wanted to face right now, but she had to make sure the Pokemon were alright. It was her fault they'd ended up this badly hurt, after all. Despite her exhaustion, her pace sped up.

She burst in, nearly collapsing, leaning against the wall. Kero wasn't in the lobby... was that a good or bad thing? The nurse, as well as the person she'd been talking to, started at the sight of her. Staggering towards the desk, Sophia told the story in a breathless, barely coherent rush.

The nurse regarded her with wariness. "That's not what I was told..."

"She's telling the truth," the other person at the desk insisted. "It's not like he said. Those Pokemon weren't being mistreated. They just flipped out. I saw what happened. Neither trainer meant for it to get that out of hand."

"I don't care!" somebody else shouted. "Idiots, both of them. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have anything to do with Pokemon. Why would anyone make up something like that?" She turned and glared at Sophia, who flinched away. "You hear me?"

Sophia struggled to look the furious woman in the eye. What had Kero said? "The... The other trainer... It wasn't her fault..." she panted.

"It really wasn't," the other witness backed Sophia up, and continued to explain the situation to Nurse Joy. Finally, the nurse's expression softened, and after hesitating for a moment, she placed five Pokeballs on the desk.

"They're alright?" Sophia gripped onto the edge of the counter, before relaxing slightly as the nurse reassured her they'd be fine.

"The other girl... How is she?" the nurse asked. "I'll call for help."

"She... She's going to be ok. Somebody already did," Sophia explained. She took the Pokeballs, and said something else people almost never heard from her. "Thank you... Thank you so, so much."

Leaving before Kero could reappear, she rushed back to the group. Once she reached the unconscious girl's side, all five Pokemon popped out. The three who belonged to the girl crowded around her. Gothita blinked and stared around, still trembling with shock. Purrloin crouched down low in a gesture of guilt.

The police would probably get involved... Had Kero and the angry woman in the Pokecentre been right? Should she even be on this journey? Pokemon had been her friends growing up, and yet she'd gone along with the way they'd been acting just now, with no thought to the consequences... She knelt down in front of the girl and the group of Pokemon, shoulders hunched. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry, I'm sorry, all of you, I'm sorry, I really am sorry..."

She could only pray to Arceus that this girl wouldn't get into trouble, and that if her own Pokemon got taken, they'd go to a better trainer.
@Heckno12 Yeah. Sophia especially doesn't trust him. Though on some level, she doesn't blame him for reacting like that.

It's about time she did something proactive, so yeah, I'll have her grab the Pokemon. It's ok, I'm able to post.
@Heckno12 Or I could maybe give Sophia a redeeming moment by having it be her? I mean she's stopped throwing up, and yeah, deep down she cares about Pokemon. I want to show that. So she could face up to what she did, and risk facing Kero again, to go and make sure the Pokemon are ok, and get Alexis' Pokemon back to her. She's feeling really, really guilty, after all.
@Heckno12 @OtomostheCrazy Yeah, there are people who will know what actually happened. Who's going to go and get the Pokemon?
@Heckno12 Thank you. I can't even cry any more, I'm just in this numb/unreality state right now. I tried listening to music and it barely registered. Yeah, it might take a while to be able to post, but @fer1323, @Iatos, @OtomostheCrazy, reply if you want to and I'll get back to you as soon as I'm feeling up to it.
@OtomostheCrazy I'll be alright. She lived to a good age, and she was happy. It's just a shock. Well, that's not the right way to put it, she was so elderly I knew it would happen soon, but... still. Ugh. I don't know if I'm expressing myself properly. It's difficult to even post in the OOC.
@Aspen Wren @Aurliena Nova Sorry I haven't replied. Stuff has been busy, and I was going to post today, but I just literally an hour ago got some bad news. My cat just died. This is the cat I've had since I was 10. I'm in a state of shock right now, and writing might be a good distraction, but if I'm not in the right headspace to post at the moment, I really will try ASAP.

Just so you know I'm still in this.
