Current To those I RP with, I haven't dropped off of the face of the earth, just had a mental health crash but am recovering. Now to catch up on posting.

The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Emeth: Then I'll be that friend who's the opposite kind of annoying, whispering "Do it, you know you want to..."

Judging by the Internet's definitions of introversion and extraversion, you'd think everyone's either an extreme hermit or a party animal with no in between.

Bio

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

♥ Ellanor "Ella" Beaufort ♥

Location: Stillwater

@Dusksong @Lugubrious

Skin stinging from the flurry of sand, Ella covered her eyes with her arm, blindly stumbling alongside Leisy. She had no idea where they were going, but it didn't matter, so long as they got away from that Malamar.

When the sandstorm thinned and the beach came back into view, Ella slowed and stopped, gasping for breath. Her relief only lasted a second before she spun, letting out a shriek. Sand and water burst outwards at them as the Malamar reappeared, lights flaring furiously. The pink-haired girl tore her gaze away before the creature could take a hold of her mind again.

It may not have been able to see them through the sand, but it was a Psychic type. It must have used its power to track her and Leisy.

As Ella turned her head, she glimpsed two figures in the corner of her vision. Olivie, and a young man surrounded by Pokemon. Fully evolved Pokemon. The sight of them brought a surge of hope. Would they be able to take on the attacker?

Her hope gave way to horror as the Malamar lashed out at the boy's Tentacruel. In a spray of fluid, the jellyfish Pokemon fell to the ground, gunk oozing from a ruptured poison gland.

Rushing to the Tentacruel's side, Ella dropped to her knees. Was there anything she could do? The potion, the black sludge... Neither item, she realised with a sinking heart, would be effective enough to work on such an injury. Before she could even try anything, she found herself staring at empty space as Scylla vanished back into her Pokeball.

"Don't look at that Malamar's lights!" Ella warned the other trainers. "It can put people under, control their thoughts... I think this is the one that's been giving people the dreams!"

@fer1323 I'd better put it up for reference anyway.

And yep! I'll be reading more today.
@fer1323 The gym battle was even more spectacular than I thought it'd be. Poor Sophia... (Though she did kind of bring it on herself.)

As for the comic, I've finished the first book.
@AbysmalDemon Just so you know, Heckno and I are currently writing up the gym battle. You can imagine how it went...
@Dusksong Yep! That should happen. Olivie now has to drag yet more people out of trouble xD
@Dusksong What should we do? Have our characters retreat to the Pokecentre for now, or wait for @Lugubrious Olivie to step in?
@fer1323 Thanks. You can tell I like darker and more mature takes on Pokemon.
@Zarkun Take your time, though.

@Dusksong Thanks, I'll PM you if I have any questions.
@fer1323 Will do. Favourite character so far is the Gengar :)
@fer1323 Thanks! Reading Book 1.
