Current Hey, I hate to say this, but I am probably leaving this place for the forseeable future. Those who are waiting for me on RPs can just... stop waiting, I guess. Sorry, all.

Well, @Truant, I believe what's wrong with you is in the name... your ability is Truant, you only get to act every other turn.

@Ampharos Boy, I guess that means you're going to get cave adaptation by the time this whole thing is done, and you'll vomit as soon as you leave your house, lol.

You ever read one of your RPs from years ago and just laugh at how bad it is?

Dragons vs unicorns, huh? I'm horribly biased in this case 'cause I HATE horses, so... dragons.

Dorter, Trade City

@Evanist

The keeper says "Eh, don't worry about it, she was a spare anyways, she never really had a rider until now," he then seemed to leave the building for whatever reason... though, he was also carrying a very full-looking bag, and, soon after, someone else came in, riding his own chocobo, and let all of them out so they'd follow him. This man gives you an annoyed look, and says "So, are you coming with us, or not? I'm leaving for Zaland, and I'm taking these chocobos with me," perhaps he reminded you about the move, something you may or may not have forgotten about, or maybe he just annoyed you, but either way, he left you with just Rosa... apparently, he got Boco to follow him out of the stables. You could hear some sort of commotion going on outside of the stables, but you can't seem to make out the words, unfortunately.

@Cyrania

The three who tried to opt to stay gave an annoyed sigh, and reluctantly packed their things. For whatever reason, Livia felt the need to explain "We never leave any of our family behind... if a decision is made by the family, all of the family has to go through with it. I'm glad you helped us decide whether or not to leave," once she was done, the entire family started leaving the house, with seemingly everything packed. You could overhear some sort of meeting in the middle of the town, with Robin saying "I assume I have given everyone enough time to bring what they need on this journey, so, we shall start, but, we will avoid the usual roads and paths, and we will surround the citizens from all sides by our soldiers," an unfamiliar voice seemed to continue off of that with "Also, anyone who can will wear armor. This is mandatory for all citizens who aren't using some form of magic. I know it will be uncomfortable for some, but it will allow you to live if you somehow manage to get attacked by the enemy... you'll thank me when that sword doesn't kill you," after that, all that could be heard were murmurs that you couldn't figure out if you tried.

Forest around Dorter

@Eklispe

Holliander looked down at the stone once you mentioned it, and hid it afterwards. He then responded with "Ah, so I assume you don't have churches where you're from, correct? Well, it's a place where we worship our deity... this stone is vaguely linked to said deity, and it has the power to change the world... I was praying here, and trying to see if I could get an answer as to whether now was a good time to use this stone or not," he then continued on with "You see, while it can change the world, there could be some... horrible and unintended side effects to using it. Upon using it, I could become a grotesque, uncontrollable, and insane monster. For a while, I had to debate on whether I should even take this thing with me when I moved to Dorter... I came pretty close to wanting to toss the damned thing in the ocean where it would rot, and yet here I am, still holding onto it," Holliander then walked over to his chocobo, and said "They're probably waiting for me back in the city, and, as you've said, they thought I was a dead man, so I've got to hurry," he then mounted the bird, and had it carry him back towards the city, yet, he seemed to have the chocobo move at a speed that you could follow, as if he didn't want to lose you in the forests.

I tried to call out to the familiar duo, but out of nowhere, a town meeting of some sort started, and the strategists all gathered in the center of the town to explain a few things about what they were going to do next. Namely, they were going with my plan to avoid as many monsters as possible, but, they were also telling everyone to get armor. At first, I was a little miffed at that, but, then they explained that I don't have to wear armor if I was using magic, and, thankfully, I was. They seemed to keep this town meeting relatively brief, and I headed off to the stables before leaving the town with everyone else. Once inside, I notice Erion alone with a red chocobo. "Hey, Erion, everyone's leaving, I was just making sure you weren't going to be left behind... then again, we still could be, they're getting out of here fast for whatever reason," I then gestured for him to follow me, adding "Come on, we were planning on leaving this place anyways, right?" I then start to leave, making sure that Erion was somewhere nearby as I left town and headed eastwards, first, with the rest of town.
Somehow, this world had mainly wood and stone technology... as well as these miniature wonders. I took the badge as soon as Mildred showed it off to us, and planned on pinning it to my bag as soon as I got it, just to make sure that I could access it easily without hurting myself. Celina commented on how handy the badge, itself was, and I nodded in agreement, adding "Yup, and to think, at first I assumed that we were just expected to go all the way there, and come all the way back... on our own, without any possible help if we mess up," this badge was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. It was literally a 'run away' command from any RPG game, and, considering my... usual behavior, it would certainly help me to know that there's always a way out of a scary or tough dungeon. Then again... I'm pretty sure Celina won't appreciate it if I made us lose everything we own just because I was afraid of how dark the place got. I guess just for the profit, I'll try to act brave, and only use the badge when it's absolutely necessary. I think as Celina asks for a job, a simple, beginner-level job. I figured she had it handled, and wouldn't pick something too hard, or anything involving an enemy fighting and or ice type... or worse. I start to look around this room, listening in on some random chatter from other, visiting teams, though, there wasn't anything truly interesting, and for some reason, that team that was here moments ago seems to have left, probably for that other place, that 'Treasure Town', wherever that was.
Okay? And? I don't do too well when I try to write characters in the third person. I've done it before, and for some reason, the posts just come out awkward.
So... should we continue without @Crimson Raven, or not? I mean... it's been four days since he said he'd post.
Well, we're stuck waiting for other people either way, lol.
Mildred accidentally spilled her drink all over her desk when I yelled at her by accident. "Um... sorry, miss..." I end up saying, trying not to get her angry at me. She then handed Celina the papers to form our team, and Celina came up with the team name of 'Team Solar Eclipse' and asked if that was okay. I answer her with "Of course it's okay, Celina," I then turn back towards Mildred, and ask "Say... all those other teams have bags, and stuff... do we get any of that for starting our team, or do we have to find our own bags somewhere?" I then remember that I don't have any money, or, indeed anything I could sell for money, and not having anything to carry around supplies in might be a huge detriment, especially if some of our explorations last too long, or even just a single day. I notice a single paper that was about to get wet, and land before picking it up with my left wing, and handing it back to Mildred, staying silent, and hoping that said paper was important enough to warrant me saving it. I overhear some random chatter from a nearby team about some hot-shot team called 'Team Charm', though, that didn't seem important, I didn't really have much else to do but listen in. Apparently, that team was planning on heading over to some place called 'Treasure Town' just to go see that exploration team. Were they really that big of a deal? I guess I just never understood why some people follow celebrities like that, but the team just went on and on about how the other team, the famous one, never lost a single treasure, and how they've supposedly never failed a mission. I was starting to question just how truthful that idle chatter was, given that it's probably pretty difficult to keep a 100% success rate at anything.
Lol, well, I suppose. I mean, I'm not much better at naming, heck, Evanist and I had a headache-inducing search for a decent name... as soon as we both turned in our apps. Yes, we've been thinking about a team name for that long, and THAT was the best we could come up with.
Trust me, that name won't work out. First off, Trevor fears fairies, and thinks he CAN'T slay them... secondly, although neither of them know it, Celina's a fairy-type.
Dang, Flood's character is so angry, he managed to grow fists just so he can clench them, lol.
I tried entering the building labeled as an 'exploration guild', but froze up more than once, just from all the various pokemon entering and leaving... even including that Sylveon again. Oddly enough, the Sylveon didn't glare at me, or even notice me this time Thank goodness that thing didn't see me... I thought as I watched that evil fairy just pass right by me as if I wasn't there. Well, okay, the thing waved those weird ribbon things at me, as if it could control them, which freaked me out, but it didn't seem as though it wanted to kill me. Ignoring that, I tried again, freezing up yet again Come on, Trevor... get yourself together, man! If there's any way for you to figure out why this happened to you, it's exploration. That's LITERALLY what they do, figure out mysteries and explore this world. You're not doing this because you WANT to, you HAVE to if you ever want to figure this whole scenario out! I think as I convince myself to finally enter the guild. I was immediately blocked by a couple of pokemon, one of which was a Dragonite, a pokemon that was very familiar to me, the other... was some sort of weird ghost attached to a rock. "Who are you, and what team are you with?" the Dragonite asked me in a very direct tone of voice. I answered, quietly, as they surprised me "...I'm new... um... I don't have a team yet..." they look behind me, and the odd ghost asks "And her?" I answer "She's... um... with me..." the two let me in, and I start asking around about how to register, and all these other things that the various teams were talking about. It seemed that all of my questions led me to the same place, or, rather, to the same pokemon, Mildred. I eventually figured out where this 'Mildred' was, and with a bit of frustration, I locate her, and finally say "I'm new here, and I'd like to register myself, and my friend as an official exploration team!" I then notice the sheer number of papers on her desk, and with how loud my voice was, I probably surprised her, especially due to the fact that she may or may not have been more focused on those papers rather than the guild itself.
