Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

All of your ideas are very interesting, seemingly focused on interaction between technology, dust, and semblance. Sanguine Channel, if I'm right, uses the user's blood mixed with dust to give its blade extra effects. Sounds very painful for all sides involved. It might be worth noting that the existing character Mokuren Sabella also has a sword that has bonus effects when empowered by blood. The Iron Maiden is probably one of the most original ideas I've ever seen. One mode for absolute defense, one mode for absolute offense. I like the idea, but it seems more plausible to me if the defense form of the weapon were simply a huge tower shield, rather than a complete suit of armor. Your call either way. Masamune is my favorite of these. True to its name, it gives me the impression of a legendary Samurai. It is a simple weapon, but one whose special ability allows it to nullify the dust-based attacks of others, forcing opponents to fight on the user's terms. The added effect of the semblance brings to mind all of the epic scenes where two Samurai clash, strike through one another, and then one falls a moment later. Unfortunately, Cacophonys is my least favorite. It seems to be both the weakest and the most nonsensical. If it were a firearm of some sort, I could very well see it existing in the RWBY universe, but a phone? Less than ideal if you ask me, which I assume you are. Keep up the good work! @Tear, he was online five hours ago. I assume that he's under the impression that the collab is finished, and he's waiting for you to post it, but I'll let you decide.
Question are we so doing the soaring match thing or have we moved on?
We've still got some fights left, if that's what you're saying, but interaction with those who have already completed their fights is alright.
A very nice fight. @McFazzer, no problem, I'll get on that. @Prince I believe I already let him know.
McFazzer! Present time!
So I was thinking, and I realized that being able to manipulate the speed and mass of an object is too vague. But that does not matter right now, what does it that in my collab, I slowed down the molecules in the air around my opponent, would that encase him in ice and crystal and trap him? Is that possible? Is that op?
Whoa whoa, that is waaaaaay too acute. Influencing physics on a molecular level is ludicrous. Let's stick with making seeable objects heavier/lighter and threfore slower/faster, sound good?
Fluoroantimonic acid is absolutely nuts. It's so acidic that it will eat through hydrocarbons. I don't think there is any way to weaponize it without simply laying waste to everything in its path, including the user.
Okay then. Keep in mind that I might institute an arbitrary deadline sometime soon, in the interests of moving on. @Tearstone, the Rakim/Seilber fight has not been posted, but I know that it is finished, so I counted it.
Six fights down, six to go. The matches that remain are:
Oswald / Sapphire Marcus / Geni Jayden / Ineko Aurellius / Jack Gren / Indigo Ivan / Merlin If at all possible, I'd like a status report from each of these teams, if you haven't done so already within the last two pages of OOC.
No problem! Welcome back.
It's not something that can just happen. Jangel's been a good participant in Heroes of Beacon, both this chapter and the previous, so his grammatical shortcomings are forgivable, and I value him as a member of this little community.
