Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

If we were to use the Jojo's idea, which is admittedly looking unlikely at this point, the manifestation of Stands would in this case be caused by the woman in white. We don't have to use the names of tarot cards or Egyptian gods; I was planning on starting my own naming convention: after poems. But if people really wanted to, we could still use bands I guess.

Anyway, right now the support list stands at:
Original Fire Emblem: 4
Jojo's: 2
Bionicle: 1?

Keep 'em coming. I'm really trying to resist the temptation to set the Fire Emblem one in my conceptual world Protea.
Random thought, if it's possible to turn a Faunus into a normal human, wouldn't that mean the reverse is possible?

It's a lot easier to remove an ear than to grow one.
Escre - the Great Spirit

Might: 0 - 3 used to level up, 1 expended to empower orb

When the words of its creators pierced the ethereal emptiness, Escre froze, rapt at attention. It needn't have heard more to discern that it had been summoned. Without even considering the possibility of an alternative, Escre made an immediate about-face and drifted back toward the region of space and possibility that contained the unimaginable beings called Invictus and Fate. As it ascended, it felt the beat of godly spirits coming closer, and a sweeping look from side to side confirmed that the other deities, too, had heeded the call. This did not astonish the warden, of course, for none of them could flippantly disregard the will of the gods of gods. Those that Escre had not before seen drew nearer, and for the first time, the tempo of their spirits, too, reverberated through it. Escre hung in the nothingness, waiting with bated breath for future instruction.

It said, did, and thought nothing as it witnessed the miracle. Truly, the furthest-flung spheres of the imagination were but baby steps for the majestic, infinite power of Invictus and Fate, for as Escre's pale eyes fixed unswervingly on the gathering orb, its power chilled Escre's own spirit. This was the raw stuff of creation, a fickle and uncanny substance capable of making or unmaking anything. Insignificance was not something Escre and its kin were made to feel—unless their gods of gods willed that the lesser gods knew their place.

In the rhythm of the orb Escre began to detect a pattern, something only a grandmaster of spirits might feel. The singularity of endlessness within that orb strummed an ethereal tune, not unlike the beat of a soul but ever more intangible, like beating a drum versus picking up water. The futility of understanding it frustrated Escre, trying to convince it that it was nothing but a mere cog in the machine, without a separate existence, and only part of something bigger. That could not be right. Escre could not question its creators, but it could wonder at the threads of song weaving through the nothingness. The gods of gods had given the Great Spirit a purpose; if it was not its own being, then it could not carry out that purpose. As the universe orb finally stood still, perched at the fingertips of Invictus, Escre whispered into the dark, I am.

The orb came its way third, after visiting and partaking of Vowzra and Arguis. Escre let go of its lantern and scythe. The others had placed their palms on the orb, evidently in order to give it something of theirs. Escre wasn't quite sure what the orb would do after collecting something from each of the gods, but it understood that unknown result as a cooperative venture. For a moment Escre stared at the orb, unsure. What could it give of itself to something so important? It held up its hands. One was empty metal, and the other empty cloth. In essence, Escre was emptiness, devoid of body...but plentiful in spirit.

Escre bowed its head slowly, and with utmost gentleness pressed its head against the orb. Colors and sounds exploded through its mind, the wavelength and frequency of a trillion spirits beating in harmony, and just as quickly they were gone, leaving only a ringing pain in their wake. Escre floated back, but the orb had already whirred off to its next subject. The warden's mind was fuzzy, but its spirit now beat as brightly as any of the other gods.

Perhaps even more.
But then again, Crimmy, isn't 80% of this site fanfiction of one strain or another?

Seems like the first Fire Emblem idea is looking like the way to go. I'll develop the idea a little further. In the mean time, I am happy to keep hearing feedback from new people. Hear that, lurkers? Now's your time to come out!

New RP ideas to replace my newly dead one.
With the floundering of my most recent roleplay, I thought I'd get back on the market. Rather than making my own world and forcing you all to be interested in it, however, this time I'm looking for options that I hope you'll have an innate interest in, and maybe stick around for. So here they are.

Bionicle

Who didn't love these toys as a kid? But it wasn't just the toys. Bionicle had an incredible story and setting, creating a universe beyond the endlessly redesignable figurines. That is what made it the most beloved Lego line of all time, and why I hope you'll cast your lot for this. I'd be willing to allow other elements aside from the basic six.
Idea 1) We play as Matoran in a Metru Nui-eque island city. A legendary protector rounds us up and gives us stones wrapped in maps that lead us to the great temple, where we are transformed into the next generation of Toa - heroes and protectors of the city. Trouble is, we're not heroes; we're just everyday people, drivers, teachers, students, historians, builders, and more. The trick will be to figure out how to get this dysfunctional array of citizens into a working team of heroes before the hidden darkness strikes at the heart of the city.
Idea 2) We play as normal humans. just happening to be in the wrong place at the wrong time (say a park, or a certain restaurant) that a mysterious figure brings to a strange new world. Upon arriving in the new world, the figure flees, and we are left to either pursue him or try and find our own way home. As we adventure in this strange new world, we find our bodies slowly becoming metal as we gain new powers.

Fire Emblem

Swords, steel, magic, and might are by no means new concepts, but Fire Emblem's got it down to a science. Based a series known for its wide varieties of weaponry, class, personality, and dating simulation storyline, this roleplay should be pretty cool.
Idea 1) War between two nations has dragged on for three years. Both are anxious for a resolution and the start of a lasting peace, but neither will allow itself to bow in deference to its rival. Disturbing hints of a third party to this conflict, however, one that's been manipulating it all this time, have spurred the creation of our miniature army: the Reclaimers. Though a somewhat motley crew, we are tasked with traversing the war's front lines, reserve encampments, backwaters, in search of clues, and in doing so -fighting mysterious brigands and cultish warriors all the while- discover the dark secret behind the war's beginning.
Idea 2) We set ourselves in the upcoming Fire Emblem: IF, which chronicles the struggle between the peace-loving Hoshido and the glory-seeking Nohr in a feudal Japanese setting. The Nohr, caught in a famine, are looking to conquer the surrounding territories so that they may prosper once again. The Hoshido, enjoying a period of plenty, have decreed war an outdated and barbaric idea. To that end, they've kidnapped a Nohr princess in infancy and raised her as one of their own: Aqua. Meanwhile, the furious Nohr have stolen away infant Kamui from the Hoshido and done the same thing. It will be up to all of you to pick a side and fight alongside your allies for what you believe in--an iron peace, or a necessary empire.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

One of the quirkiest, most surprising, and most memetic animes of all time. If you don't know about Jojo's, spend a good fifteen minutes starting at my avatar. It'll come to you.
Idea 1) During the events of Stardust Crusaders, the characters of the show weren't the only ones having bizarre adventures. Elsewhere in the world, Great Britain perhaps, a group of people are tormented by strange visions of a woman in white. All of these characters have little, but after awaking from the third day of these dreams, they find they have less--something very dear to them has been stolen. Today is also the day that we find we aren't alone, that connected to ourselves are personal images of spiritual energy, and because they appear beside us, they are called...Stands! With our Stands beside us and plenty of motivation, our characters embark on their quest to regain what has been stolen, but it's hardly, as we will find out, an easy road.

Feel free to suggest more themes, and please voice your interest in any of my themes if you have any. And if you like a theme but not the ideas I've made, go ahead and speak up; I'll add it in.
I've found that Titanpad is pretty fantastic for collabs.
Took me this long to realize that there two Nero's.......

That's an interesting assessment. Why might you say that?
Is it time to start creation yet?
