She raised the whip and whipped his harshly against his skin which burned more than usual as the holy water burned and melted his skin little by little. She watched it for a few moments and she whipped him again in his chest the smell of burning flesh permeating the air rather quickly as she continued to ship him until the holy water was dried up and he had about 5 burning wounds on his body that would surely scar.

She nodded in agreement before she made her way towards their location entering the houe "Mom...anyone" all she was met was with silence and she walked further into her home looking for any signs of life. She gasped when she went in the living room and she saw a puddle of blood and tears filled her eyes. There was only blood but no sign of a body.

"Hmm it not good to fight on an empty stomach and I haven't ate much since I got back" Taimaine said looking at her friend and partner as she rubbed her slim stomach. She flashed him to a grin and a fang showed its self as she walked towards one of the many food stalls sitting down. "I will take some alligator tailed that is fried and a corn on the cop please" she said to the stall-keeper.

Colette bit her lip and looked at her bat wishing their was a way that she could help it and then she rememeber what she had been practicing in her private time away from class. She got onto the wagon quickly already planning what to do. "If I can find away to feed my bat my energy then I get it to become stronger." She thought getitng over to the ballisa. She then thought about what her teacher had said about the what she can do with her power. "I have to choice, merge with my bat or make it stronger...." She thought and with a moment of indeciveness, she felt a strong feeling of determination fill her as her eyes looked hard back towards the battle.

"I have made my choice... Hold on little buddy!" She said and her allowed her eyes to slide close thinking of her bat and how it needed her more. A red aura slowly seeped out of her and that red aura surrounded her demonic friend. When she felt it was enough she opened her eyes which was surrounded by the aura and she shouted.

"HYLLOS TAKE MY POWER, PROTECT ANNABETH WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH" She shouted and the bat screech as it grew a bigger than before and medium size horns appear on its head. Colette's eyes widened as she saw it and her jaw dropped as she heard.

"Yes Mistress Colette" A strong feminine voice rang out in her ears. The bat drove in and attacked the roc more feciously than before drivings it new horns into the roc's body. Once she saw the roc was completely distracted and turned her attention to the ballista.

"This battle has gone on far enough!" She said her voice no longer meek or shy as she took hold of the ballista and she pointed it towards the roc concentrating on her aim.

"EVERYONE OUT OF THE WAY" Colette shouted and she shot the ballista and was shocked it hit the roc straight on. She winced when she heard the roc's final screech before it fell to the ground and twitched only a little before going still for good.

Vampire Academy

"Well, here we are I suppose..." Maple stepped off the train to the amazing sight of the school. Most were immediately walking through the large ornate doors into the city surrounding the academy, but Maple slipped out of the crowd to stand off to the side and catch her breath. As she did, she watched the crowd.

There were some interesting folks there, but the most interesting to her was a girl about her age with a wing on her head and another on her shoulder. She was wearing a fancy little black dress, and looked like she was about to cry her heart out. As Maple approached her, she noticed her eyes were red-tinted, like her own, and found a reason to talk to the girl other than, 'Hey, don't cry sweetheart!'

"Hey, i'm Maple. Yes like the tree. I'm also Canadian, if that means anything to you." Maple silently cursed her harsh tone as she spoke, trying again with a light kindness in her voice now. "Sorry, I'm what you'd call naturally blunt. Don't take what I say seriously." A smile now, and reel her in.

"You hungry? Don't bother saying no, because I can see it all in your eyes." Maple kept a kind smile on her face as she waited for the girl to respond, holding her hand out to her.

Colette jumped hearing the girl and she looked at her, it was obvious by her smell that she was not a full human and by her reactions she was not used to seeing other vampires like her. "U um" she said unable to speak, her eyes flashing a crimson color that spoke of blood lust and she whimpered backing up.

"P please just...stay...away...im not safe" she said before running into school towards more secluded spots
