Current I don't think they are ignoring us. Believe it or not I'm sure the mods/admin have lives outside of this and require sleep.

$80 for building a Commander deck is not to bad. I know my own started out inexpensive but slowly grew as I added cards. Pretty sure most of them are close to or over $200.

Is it just me or has the number of ads increased rather dramatically? I'm seeing them in the middle of people's posts now.

Did not expect to see a new mobile layout today. Definitely different and it'll probably take some getting used to.

Bio

Suppose it's better late than never to add this.

I enjoy Starwars, Lord of the Rings, The Expanse book series, Warhammer, gaming, Game of Thrones, and D&D.

Might add more later, might not.

If the rerolled 1s were higher than others take that instead.

You can roll for HP or take the median.

I found all the books on PDf once, had em all downloaded, then our DM went on a break, since he was acting like he wasn't gonna play ever again, i deleted the books , now i wish i hadn't lol

Tell me about it. I had a buddy give me pdf versions for all of 3.5e. And I mean all of them. I've been pretty diligent so far in keeping them all.
@Alarielle
Dndbeyond is a good site to use for making characters and does have a lot of free basic stuff. Saddly most of the subclasses and extra bits are lock behind purchases, either by whole books, chucks like by feats surfaces etc, or individually.

If you already have the books by what ever means you use, mythweavers is good for just the sheet.
All good.
@HEAVY METAL
The town is Good Mead, tavern is just the mead hall. Very small town here though.
Hi! If you're looking for more, would you be willing to take someone new to DnD? My experience with 5e is limited to like... Baldur's Gate 3 and Critical Role, never actually played myself, but I'd be interested to give it a go in play by post form. If you're alright working with someone learning.

I am willing to take on new learners. While I do enjoy the game I have not played much and have only DMed for a few games aside from for my kids.

As Heavy stated for rolling you attributes roll 4d6 and drop the lowest. You cam reroll 1s as well. It cann be on the this website , dndbeyond, with your own die, or with any other RNG.

If you have any questions just ask on here or dm me.
Awesome, now we wait.
All good, I probably should have added other details.
Should have mentioned this before but only two towns have walls, Bryn-Shander and Targos.

@The Large Dumbo is your character referring to the walls of the houses or referring to walls of the settlement? Good Mead has no perimeter walls.
Good Mead

Our story begins in the town of Good Mead. It is two days before the new moon and speaker Kendrick Reilsbarrow was killed when a verbeeg came and stole three casks of the towns famous mead. Speaker Rielsbarrow had attempted to stop the giant and was stabbed with a spear. The town milita sent five members out but they have yet to return.

The population are preparing for their sacrifice of warmth to the Frostmadien as well as holding an election of a new speaker. Despite all this the air is still a buzz with the bees that provide the honey to make the mead.

Points of interest for visitors are the mead hall and the Shrine of the Flaming Sword, a shrine of Tempus.

You are just entering Good Mead, through one of the road or from the forest, for what reasons you may have. Go ahead and introduce yourself and state where you are heading.
