Current I don't think they are ignoring us. Believe it or not I'm sure the mods/admin have lives outside of this and require sleep.

$80 for building a Commander deck is not to bad. I know my own started out inexpensive but slowly grew as I added cards. Pretty sure most of them are close to or over $200.

Is it just me or has the number of ads increased rather dramatically? I'm seeing them in the middle of people's posts now.

Did not expect to see a new mobile layout today. Definitely different and it'll probably take some getting used to.

Bio

Suppose it's better late than never to add this.

I enjoy Starwars, Lord of the Rings, The Expanse book series, Warhammer, gaming, Game of Thrones, and D&D.

Might add more later, might not.

I’m assuming this tower has windows. If Aura casts Spider Climb on one of the party, they could break in through the window while the rest of the party bursts in through the front door.

Aura would at least have levitate as an inate ability.

Also Jørmund was about to shoulder check the door in, least that is what I was working on for my post.

Rickard Barriden
Elf, Fighter (Eldritch Knight), Level 03
HP: 31 / 31 Armor Class: 19 Conditions: N/A
Location: Neil and Bob's Public House

Rickard had noted the suspicious look the barkeep took gave him before getting a flagon of the Zinnoberrot for Kathryn and her table. He ignored the look for the time being, but made a mental note that he may want to find another place to board after tonight. Kathryn had started to take off after the man who had so loudly stated that he needed to make sprinkles. When the man had cleared the door with his other companions in tow she stopped and came back to sit at the bar. She set the ale down in front of Rickard and started to explain that she was not a local, but recently hired to help the locals. Goblins were currently an issue and she suspected that they may have a connection to the disappearances. The face that she had also introduced herself as Lady, or Ser had perked his curiosity more now. He had not initially suspected that she was a knight, or a noble. That was more so from the way she carried herself and presented the image of a sword for hire.

"I am Ser Rickard Barriden. Brother to Lady Trisstainia Barriden of the Silver Woods. Pleased to make your acquaintance Kathryn. You may call me Rickard." He took a sip of his wine. "I am looking for someone yes. An old friend of mine asked me to check in on his son who owns a woodworking shop here. He would have made the trip himself but age had taken it's toll on him. I will say I had not considered the threat of goblins being a potential reason for him going missing. Though it seems that at several others have gone missing as well." A frown crossed his face as he thought about goblins sneaking into the town to abduct people in the middle of the night. He started to wonder if his children, and grandchildren for that matter, had issues with goblins raiding the estate or the nearby small town. He would have to write his eldest daughter to make sure that she and the others were fairing well. Maybe also mention that they should ensure that both the town and the estate was well guarded.

He took a long drink of his wine while he pondered the matter. It was interrupted however by a man fainting in the doorway and the sound of men retreating and shouting. The display had caused him, and several others in the pub, to turn their attention to the doorway. A young half-elven woman had passed through the door, and kicking the man's leg out of the way so the door could close. She had then made her way to the bar directly to Kathryn and asked after others. This person did not carry herself like a soldier, nor even looking like one who was hired to go pursuing goblins. She looked like a performer who had just gotten done with a show. The elven man sat back in his chair and started to try to figure out what kind of a group he had just stumbled across. A performer may have traveled with a knight for protection on the road, but it seemed at though the pair were part of a larger group. There may be more to this performer than Rickard knew.

He drained the cup of wine and set it on the bar and eyed the mug of ale. It might not be the best thing at this time as the last time he ate was nearer to mid-day, so it remained where Kathryn had set it. "I will tell you what I know, though I haven't been in town that long. If you are able to help me find him I'll see to it that you are compensated for your help. While I do not have much on my person I am sure I have sufficient funds available at my home to compensate you. I do not forget those who help me and will do what I can to help them in return."
Jørmund frowned as Aura quietly told everyone what her hawk was seeing. It seems that whoever was here was expecting the group to arrive and had already planned for it. He was glad that earlier in the morning he bestowed magical gift to Rala's armor so that it would hopefully better protect her.

"Well I see two ways to deal with this, we can try to get closer or start swinging now. I might be able to help us get closer without being seen as easily. However my armor and size are not easy to hide. I don't care which we do but the longer we wait the more prepared they are." He knew the others would like to at least make some sort of a plan, but Jørmund was ready to start swinging his mace and throwing a few spells at the guards outside. If the group couldn't decide would.

Rala has a +1 to ac till the next long rest or Jørmund dies.
Fair enough. I'll wait till we hear back from Birdboy.
My thought behind using it was to either help the rogue get that extra +1 to hit or add just that small bit more to whomevers AC and hope it makes just a small enough difference in them getting hit or not.

Assuming what I will and will not Grudge gets you put right in the book of grudges.

Found the dwarf.
So before we had made our way out to the tower Jørmund would have imbued someone's armor or weapon with the blessing of the forge. Only get to do one person per long rest. Whoever gets it get a +1 to the non magical item. He will likely give it to someone else as he has pretty high AC and will likely use magic more than his mace. He will favor people he has been traveling with longer as well.

EDIT: I will say he has been with at least one or two of the other party members for awhile, maybe Flicker or Aura and someone else. What do yall think?
@Guardian Angel Haruki

It's all good, I know how that is. I don't think anyone here will begrudge you taking care of real life first.
Well considering that three of the party members are what would be considered plane touched, and one is a plasmoid extra terrestrial, I'm pretty sure Outsiders isn't that far off lol.

If the party has been working together for awhile, Jørmund would probably have offered to repair other party members weapons and armor. At least any that would need a blacksmith to repair. Mending can fix most everything else.
They also have six fingers.
