Current I don't think they are ignoring us. Believe it or not I'm sure the mods/admin have lives outside of this and require sleep.

$80 for building a Commander deck is not to bad. I know my own started out inexpensive but slowly grew as I added cards. Pretty sure most of them are close to or over $200.

Is it just me or has the number of ads increased rather dramatically? I'm seeing them in the middle of people's posts now.

Did not expect to see a new mobile layout today. Definitely different and it'll probably take some getting used to.

Bio

Suppose it's better late than never to add this.

I enjoy Starwars, Lord of the Rings, The Expanse book series, Warhammer, gaming, Game of Thrones, and D&D.

Might add more later, might not.

Before I respond, @Lurking Krog would the other party members, Plasm and such, have heard this story? Does Jørmund talk about this tale much or at all?

He would have mentioned having fought off raiders in his home. He would leave out some of the details, such as being deemed a hero of sorts. Debating on if that battle also left some trauma that leads to some of his recklessness in battle.
Got a post in while taking a break from painting. I hate preparing a house to be ready to be sold now.

Rory made her way into the big top, pausing briefly to look for Gabriel and the other she had met earlier in the day. It didn't take long to spot the bugbear and gnome, wait was that a gnome? The garb that the being wore looked much like Jub's from what she could recall. She walked up to the four gathered keeping mostly quiet, a feat not to difficult with all the noise and commotion.

"So how did everyone else fair. Miizel, Tsak, and I found something interesting in the Hall of Illusions." She stated after walking up behind Gabe. The elven woman leaned in closer after checking to see who might be paying attention and whispered so that only the other four gathered might hear. "Also the owners would like to meet with us after the Crowning. They are trying to keep it on the quiet. Something or someone is causing them worry that whatever it is might catch word of what we are up to. It does have to do with what we found in the Hall of Illusions. What was discussed with Burly may not need to happen now."

Rickard looked over the food brought before him and then to Lea. He thanked her and handed her the silver for the meal, plus an extra. When Victoria arrived he had already started cutting into the smoked pork, placing a chunk of it on a slice of the dense bread. "Here you are. It is good to see you didn't have any troubles during the night." He took a bite of the open-faced sandwich he made of the smoked pork, and shifted his gaze to the animal that followed Victoria.

The animal that followed her seemed to be a pig wrapped in burlap. How it acted was more a giveaway than the burlap wrapping, or so he thought. Well, that and what he could recall of last night's conversation with Victoria. She had said something about being a member of the Grey Requiem, which Rickard did know was a college of bards that focused more on the powers of necromancy. With all of that information, it was likely that this animal was a pet of Victoria's, and not likely a living one.

He did wonder to himself what drew people to such practices. While necromancy itself was not wholly evil, certain aspects of it were, many he had heard of using it were not necessarily the best of people. There were tales he heard many decades ago about one such person exhuming the dead of a village not far from his home. The person had been animating the bodies and leading this small undead band against travelers on the roads near where he had made his new home.  It wasn't long after the villagers banded together, requested help from Rickard's father, and fought off the necromancer and his small army. The help Lord Barriden provided proved necessary to prevent the villagers from being overwhelmed by the zombies. This half-elven woman however did not seem like the typical necromancer Rickard had heard of.

The elven man took a drink of tea to help wash down the bite he had just had. "In regards to my search I had heard that a dressmaker's daughter had gone missing. That and the peculiar state of the silversmith's shop being boarded up from the inside. I think either of these places may be a good area to start looking. Unless you or one of your compatriots would like to go through Samuel's shop and look for something I may have missed." While relaying what he was planning to go check for the day to Victoria, he pick up an egg and started to remove the shell. It took a bit to remove the shell, but one cleared the elf and ate it in a few quick bites.
Busy painting atm. I'll get a post up before bed tonight.
@Lurking Krog I believe I'll take the hint & skedaddle, no barbarian for me :( good luck tho

I apologize if I did not respond as quickly as I did in Witchlight. This weekend is a bit of a busy one as I've been trying to get a bunch of stuff done around the house.

If you are still interested joining let me know. I was capping it at site people this time. One player already had to drop though, so there is one opening.

That reminds me….

When it comes to this module, you’re going to have a very hard time finding corpses…

Concern
Good to see you as well, and you're back in time to see the results of me rolling a -1. It is a good reminder that Rory shouldn't be doing strength base checks.
@Dark Cloud welcome back.
Jørmund

Jørmund was starting to feel the effects of the whiskey having now downed two glasses of it. He had managed to set his mug down when Plasm started to tug on his arm. They wanted to find a bard. Jørmund got up from the table and grab some of his meal, took a quick bite chewed and swallowed. "Let's go find a bard. There was one that greeted us at the entranceto the camp." He took off leading Plasm through the crowd back towards the entrance to the camp.
