Current I don't think they are ignoring us. Believe it or not I'm sure the mods/admin have lives outside of this and require sleep.

$80 for building a Commander deck is not to bad. I know my own started out inexpensive but slowly grew as I added cards. Pretty sure most of them are close to or over $200.

Is it just me or has the number of ads increased rather dramatically? I'm seeing them in the middle of people's posts now.

Did not expect to see a new mobile layout today. Definitely different and it'll probably take some getting used to.

Bio

Suppose it's better late than never to add this.

I enjoy Starwars, Lord of the Rings, The Expanse book series, Warhammer, gaming, Game of Thrones, and D&D.

Might add more later, might not.

Hey all!

Sorry for the few days of silence there from me, my wife and I are frantically trying to finalize our anniversary plans. For the week of April 20th-27th expect to hear nothing from me because I’ll be out on a trip.

Have a good trip.
The return back to the Cauldron took less time then the walk there since Gwen already knew the way. The smell was the first thing she noticed when arriving through the sub-level 1 access tunnel. "Oh what the hell is that smell Eel?" Gwen yelled before fighting back a gag. "Did something die in the harvester?"

As quickly as she could, Gwen grabbed the repair sleeve, an oil spill cleaning kit, a small shovel, and put them on one of the narrow drone carts that could be programmed to follow her in the tunnels. The less time in the Cauldron with that awful smell the better.

With the cart in tow, she hurried back into the tunnels to escape the smell. The repair wouldn't take to long, the sleeve going over part of the pipe that was damaged, then tightened down so it sealed off the hole. Gwen leaned back so she could examine her work before slowly opening the valve to restore the oil flow to the recycler, watching for leaks around the seals of the patch. It would hold for awhile as long as no more of these burrowing creatures trying chewing their way through the sub-levels.

When she was satisfied that the leak was contained, she opened the spill cleaning kit and spread the oil absorbent over the area. The tedious part was the waiting for the sand/wood pulp blended material to soak up the oil before shoveling it into the plastic totes to be processed later by the machines in sub-level 3.

"Holiday, please mark the oil leak as repaired and clean up in progress" she asked the dome's AI before switching to the open channel. "Kaplan, repair has been made and cleanup of sub-level 1 where the leak was is in progress."

I wonder if this is the source of our invasive creatures?

I was wondering that myself.
Everyone enjoy their Easter?

I did, it was a bit busy but not to bad.

Hope you enjoyed yours.
I am guessing that every one is ready to move on. I'll work on getting a post up over the next couple of days.
@Guardian Angel Haruki has the funniest opportunity for Nibs right now.

Happy April First, all!

That'd be great. Jub already suspects Aurora is an Arch fey. If Nibs were to reveal that he was, I think Jub would suspect everyone else they meet is an arch fey as well.
Congratulations. You all may be the first players in a science fiction game to have to deal with the ‘rats in the basement’ scenario. Concern will issue you all a badge to honor your sacrifice.

Will it arrive in 3-10 business years?
Gwendlyn followed the drone through the maze of sublevel one to the location of the damaged pipe. With an audible groan of frustration, she looked for the valve to shut off the flow through that pipe so repairs could be made and oil stopped gushing upward.

"That's the big question innit. As far as I know, Kaplan didn't want any kind of burrowin' critters due to potential damage to critical infrastructure." She told Yev while turning the wheel for the valve to shut off the flow of oil. The wheel was slick with oil and took longer to close than preferred, and now Gwen was also covered in the oil.

"Neilson here, looks like something either came up or went down through the sub levels. Whatever it was is able to chew through concrete.... Kaplan do you know if Concern had something hidden away here? Cause I think it would be important to know of something that can tunnel through concrete. So far we don't seem to be leaking atmosphere." Gwen called over the open comms channel. She tried to wipe her hands as best as she could on her jumpsuit to get the excess oil off. Muttering to herself, she turned to face Yev.

"I sure as hell hope not. That's the last thing we need, especially if they are down by the core. If one of those bastards chews the wrong cable we could lose the water recyclers, the weather controls, or worse the primary life support systems." Gwen paused when she realized what all she was saying could worry Yev more than necessary. With a slight grimace, she went about checking the size of the pipe and the damage to it. Once she had an idea of it all she looked back at Yev. "Hopefully it is only one or two and they can be dealt with easily. Let's head back and grab a repair sleeve to fit over the pipe until we can get a replacement section to properly repair it. I can probably handle it and the cleanup if there is something else you need to do." Gwen offered a feigned smile hoping to reassure Yev and give the young woman a way out of being in the sub-level getting covered in oil like she was. Neilson knew it would take up most of her day to do it all, most of it dealing with the waste oil covering the tunnel.
Aurora

"You heard me and I will not withdraw what I said because it upsets you. If threats had any effect on me I would not be here. Now, why don't you save that aggression for when we actually have to fight for our lives, not some petty reason." Aurora snapped back before starting to clean her boots. "Don't worry Jub, I will not fight him here. Fighting him at all would mean nothing to me, especially if all it was for him to save face or inability to handle someone telling him something he does not want to hear."

"If this is how my behavior was towards my own family, I owe them an apology" She muttered to herself in Elvish. Cleaning the boots did not take too long as she muttered the incantation and made the hand gestures for prestidigitation.
She's already on Brutrumukk's list of people he hates.
