Enna stirred slightly, her fingers twitching as she tried to reach for Adrian, the twin that held her, James released a low purr and she stilled in his arms. The younger twin, Jason reached foward and hesitantly ran his fingers through Adrian's fur.

"She fine Fire Wielder, she controls ice, a power that's hard to control. When a snowstorm hits she'll sleep until it passes, usually her powers encase her in a crystal until it's over, it's for her protection as much as everyone else's. The headmistress calls this her 'Re-energizing sleep' she'll regain her powers and won't be so sleepy as she's been. The storm was supposed to hit tomorrow but...you can never trust weather foracasts."

Enna choked on a whine as another burst of icy wind escape from her body, her eyes rolling as the breeze freezes the surrounding area in solid ice, James' purr stills as he gracefully jumps the frozen steps and lands on the main floor, Jason easily jumping and shifting as he lands, his now panther body rubbing against his brother before he sits in his haunches.

"She's needs a familiar place to rest, her room won't count since she doesn't really sleep there, the Infirmary is off because she hates being near medical supplies...and the garden as well...Adrian? Do you know another place she'll be safe and warm? The Headmistress has left her in your care as well as ours, my brother and I were sent to watch over her, we used to play together before she was picked up from the orphanage and taken with her grandmother. We need a place, and quickly." Enna whined again as another burst escapes, her heart beginning to slow it's normally erratic beat. @SomeoneSomewere

Larentia offered a small smile and a nod, she leaned closer to her friend and whispered in her ear as the woman holding the scroll began to call out names.

"I'll explain what I can later. The hat that will be placed on your head is called the Sorting Hat, it reads your mind and decides on which house to put you in. Just remain calm and you'll be placed in a good house." She pulled back and discreetly reached for Oriana's hand, giving it a comforting squeeze she pulled her hand away and focused her attention on the kids going before her.

It'd be her turn soon.

Smiling as the names began to fill the room, Alicia allowed her gaze to wonder, her hand reaching towards her cup of wine absently. Truth be told she couldn't wait for her new snakes to join the rest of their house, she adored her students and made sure they knew the rules of what it meant to be a Slytherin. She took a sip and focused her gaze on Professor Peverell, a faint blush spreading across her cheeks, she looked away and forced herself to relax. Her back straightening when a name she didn't expect to hear filled the hall, the very air seeming to freeze.

"Miss Larentia Naelistrum" Alicia's eyes widened when a girl with dark hair and pale skin moved forward, her chin held high and her hands lay limp at her sides. The Naelistrum family said they had a daughter but she was heading to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic...so how was she here instead. The interview had been the after their daughter had been born, they'd stated firmly that she'd be heading to the better school, Hogwarts didn't seem right for her.

Emma jotted down the answer and began the next, this one drawing her attention and her hand absently filled in the answer. Her fingers absently carding through Adrian's fur, her eyes squinting slightly as a familiar feeling began to crawl up her spine, her body stilling and her pen dropping from her fingers as a familiar cold sensation spread through her body.

"No...not...it wasn't supposed to start until tomorrow morning. I'd already asked to be absent..." She managed to choke out as a burst of power filled the air, her eyes rolling slightly as the faint smell of two familiar scents filled the air. The sound of the door opening had her head rolling slightly to one side, her body feeling heavy and tired.

Warm hands settling on her shoulder had her instinctively falling back, the weight shifting to easily lift her up.

"Hey Ice Queen, let's get you out of here" one of the twins states as the other picks up the discarded stack of homework and gestures Adrian to follow. @SomeoneSomewere
