Reimu and Alice were together at the shrine as they tried to establish a first connection with Lacrima. Soon, the connection went in and he finally appeared in front of them.


Reimu: Lumino!

Lumino: Reimu and... Alice?!

Alice: Hello once again, Lumino.

Reimu: I found out that Alice has followed me all the way here. She said she wanted to help out with your children too.

Lumino: I see... it's great to see you once again, Alice.

Alice: The same to you, Lumino. Greetings aside...

Reimu: Now that we've managed to establish a connection, we'll be able to give you our reports of Xaizor and Marina.

Alice: By the way, why did you send them? Couldn't Agni and Magnum come to see how things are?

Lumino: They're investigating something for me at the Multiversal Limbo. I fear something sealed there a long time ago has just been freed.

The dead lands of the limbo were filled with wailing and cries. All the condemned souls walked around in lament as the two living beings passed right through them.


???: All those wails make my skin crawl...

???: They're getting on my nerves. I wouldn't mind to destroy some of those souls for some silence.

???: Hey now, this is punishment enough. There's no need for the extremes on this.

???: *sigh* I've never intended to actually do such things...

???: Huh? Hey, look over there.

As he pointed out, two white souls were floating amidst the black souls of the corrupted.


???: White souls?

???: How curious... non-condemned souls found their ways to the limbo...

???: Wait a moment... those souls...

They immediately recognized who they were. Two close friends of them and of Lumino.


???: They're... those two from that other time! How did they get here?!

???: ... Stroke of bad luck, judgement from the Yama, you name it.

???: Hey, use some spell to save them!

Maki: While you were studying, I was walking around, checking the town under the rain. Even with the fog, I discovered the Guild's round-ups are starting to get a little more active.

Pod: This Pod believes that the proposal sounds relatively important.

5T: It sounds, but it isn't. I haven't received orders to deploy and help the other members. All that I am assigned to do right now are the rounds and the hacking.

As they finished the conversation, 5T started to send the YoRHa data to Touko, as a payment for what she did with Conflict's Blade.

After they leaved, the thugs went all on retreat. Another motive was that Mia wasn't giving them too much chances.


Mia: Whew... we managed to get out of this situation at least...

The small breath she took was enough. Her training regimen was just as hard. She deactivated Aegis and went towards Kaori and Andorina.


Mia: Are you two alright?

Location: Spring Zone - Lilina's House


Lilina: ... OK.

Drake: You should get your hands off this thing and give it to the officer.

Lilina: That... while I think it's the best course of action, I won't let go of it.

Masaru: But Lilina, if this is dangerous as Kail said, then-

Lilina: I'll take the risk. I won't part with this, I'll be stupid and persistent in this decision.

She was showing signs of not wanting to let go of the wand. Drake was the first to sigh.


Drake: I'd normally disagree and talk my way into your mind, but I'm gonna trust you in this...

Lilina: Drake...

Drake: Next lie and then my trust is off, though.

Masaru: He's right. No need for you to lie anymore. We want you to trust in us too.

Since they were immediately pulled by Kiragi towards the living room, Lucent and Kaito decided to play with him and the other children as the others were at the kitchen.

Kiragi smiled back as Lucent stared once again at the kitchen. Ever curious to what he's thinking, Kaito inquired immediately.


Kaito: You keep looking at the kitchen. Did you need something from it?

Lucent: It's not that I need something, I want to use the kitchen. I guess Rayla was faster than me.

Kaito: Oh? You wanted to cook something?

Lucent: K-Kinda...

Lucent: If you can keep a secret, I can tell you.

Kaito: Sweets?!

Lucent: SHH!! Not so loud!

Kiragi: I heard sweets?! I want sweets!! Where they are?! Where?! Where?!

The other children also looked around with Kiragi, as he believed that one of their older brothers and sisters hid it for them to look.


Kaito: We don't have any, but Lucent here wanted to make some.

Kiragi: Really?! Big Bro Lucent, you can cook too?! And make candy?!

Lucent: I'm... not that good with food, but... I like doing sweets...

Kaito: So you have a sweet tooth then!

The shield opened once again and the thug holding Mia lost his grasp of her. She used that momentum to hit him and send him away.


Mia: You said your name is Werhan, correct? Very well.

Mia: I gave you and your companions a chance to retreat, yet you refused to listen... from this moment on, I am taking you into immediate custody!!
Thug: G-Get the pinkie!!

Before Mia could even move towards Werhan and aid Kaori, the thugs went all on her. They began to attack the shield incessantly.


Mia: Releasing impulsive force!

She pushed herself against them but didn't move an inch. With a powerful pulsar emanating from the shield, Mia managed to send the thugs away from her and finally freed herself from their assault.


Mia: I'll hold those thugs for now! Kaori, I'll leave Werhan to you, but be careful!

Location: Spring Zone - Lilina's House


Lilina: Seeing the future... that sounds rather useful...

Drake: Well, back to the topic at hand, what are you going to do now?

Lilina: I don't know... maybe I should-
Azrel: Run away? Is that your answer?

BGM: Marionette Purple

Azrel finally went inside and confronted the group. He wore a confident smile as Masaru questioned who he was.


Masaru: W-Who are you?! How did you even get here?

Azrel: Someone's shocked. I'd be too, if I saw a stranger entering in my house like there's nothing going on.

Drake: We didn't ask you to say the obvious! We asked who the hell are you!!

Azrel: Oooh, the snake wants to bite. What, you're going to poison me or something?

Lilina: Drake, calm down!

At Lilina's signal, Drake sat back into the chair. Once again, Lilina asked about the mysterious stranger.


Lilina: I'll ask once more. Who are you?

Azrel: Azrel Ametrine. And just for the record, I tried to help the good officer here, but I got in the way.

Lilina: So you were helping Kail...?

Azrel: Well, outside of that, I got something I need to give you. Here.


Azrel handed a strange wand to Lilina. She looked at it, utterly confused.


Lilina: A... wand?

Drake: What, you just barge in and give her some sort of stupid toy? That's so lame.

Azrel: This little "toy" here might help you with your powers. You should consider it well.

Masaru: It does? What does it do, exactly?

Azrel: Curious, huh? Let's see... how much you're willing to pay for the info?

Before Kail could even question Drake, they sat into the chairs, beginning the discussion about the invasion.


Masaru: I do wonder... why do those guys appeared again?

Lilina: It's rather obvious, isn't it? I'm a Psychic User.

Drake: Psychic User?

Masaru: H-How can you be so sure of that?

Lilina: In the first time I was kidnapped, the Guild took me in. I fell unconscious for a moment but woke up soon enough. When I did, I was already there, listening to their conversation.

Drake: But you sounded like you didn't know that back at school.

Lilina: I was lying. I knew everything by the time I tried to return to a normal life. I also knew... that something like that is impossible for me right now.

Masaru: Lilina...

Drake: So those guys will keep coming and coming no matter what we do, right?

Lilina: It seems like it. They're after me, after my power, for a reason that no one knows.

It shocked both Masaru and Drake that Lilina knew the reasons why she was being targeted, yet never demonstrated a sign of fear. Lying wasn't something that she did, so it was a whole new angle of how she behaved.

Lilina: It was a perspective. A scene showing a possibility of that analysis of his.

Drake: Perspective...? I don't get it.

Xaizor: Nope. I had to train a lot to get where I am today.

Sayaka: I see that. Hey, why don't you join the Guild?

After a while, the car arrived at the orphanage. As the door opened, Rayla, Tiane, Lucent and Kaito went out.


Auror: It took a while, but here you are.

Kaito: Thanks for the ride, Auror.

Auror: No problemo. Now get going, unless you wanna get soaked by the rain.

Lucent: I... don't want that.

The car departed. Kaito and Lucent went inside, to escape from the rain.

Xaizor: Hmm? Guess they left someone behind.

As he pointed at the ground, the young man he defeated was left behind.


Xaizor: I dunno what to do with him, so I'm leaving that to you. I'll head inside to see how's Sayaka doing.

Location: Spring Zone - Lilina's House

The three came out of the basement so they could check out how things were for a moment.


Drake: Seems like it's over here. We can come out now.

Lilina: Thank goodness. I wonder if everyone's OK.

Masaru: I hear footsteps. Is it a soldier?

As they went upstairs, Kail came on their sight of vision. Lilina finally looked relieved.


Lilina: Kail! You're alright! I was worried!

Drake: Told you it'd be fine.

Lilina: Yes... even so, it's a relief to see that he's safe.

Masaru: Yeah. I guess we should talk about it now and see what we can do.

Drake: You guys want me to leave?

Masaru: I don't think there's a problem, as long as it doesn't get out of here.

In the moment the thug tried to attack Mia, she defended it with a blue disc attached to her pulse. The disc soon grew into an oversized shield, even larger than its user. The growth surprised the assailant.


Mia: Back off and retreat! This is my last warning, as a knight of the Holy Order!
Thug: W-Whatcha talkin' about?!
Mia: I've warned you...!

She threw the thug off balance with a swing and barged him with her Aegis. He flew away and was sent into a pole.


Mia: No harm shall come to civilians! That is my duty as knight of the Holy Order! Now, retreat at once!!

Seeing how the fight ended, Xaizor put his sword back in the scabbard. As he smiled at the results, Sayaka went outside once again to see how the four of them were.


Sayaka: Are you all OK?

Xaizor: Sayaka! And nevermind us, what about you?!

Sayaka: I can say that I'm safe once again. This time for sure.

Xaizor: *sigh* That's what I want to hear.

Sayaka: I'm sorry... this is all because of me...

Xaizor: We're not blaming you. Besides, what matters is that we managed to win and keep you safe.

Sayaka: ...

Sayaka fell in silence for a while as she considered all possibilites. She started to worry about why she was being targeted. At the same time she wanted to know, she didn't want to. Seeing as how she may need some time by herself, Xaizor decided to head back.


Xaizor: Well, I guess that's that. Better if I head back home.

Sayaka: You're going already? Can't you stay for tea?

Xaizor: I don't think I should...

Sayaka: Please, I insist. The four of you, come in. I'll prepare coffee and tea for you.

Before he could jump into introductions, Azrel spoke about Lilina. He wasn't minding if he somewhat sounded suspicious. Dangers lie this are things that excite him whenever dealing with people.


Azrel: If we're done here, shouldn't you go check the girl? I mean, it's not any of my business, but maybe it'd be nice.

Mia: (An attack here on the Spring Zone... this bodes ill. Once I deliver them, I shall head back to the base and inform Sir Krantz of the whole story.)

It could be a lovely family reunion, but it wasn't. It was a conference between leaders of distant world. One ruled a distant and separate world, one ruled the congregation of all Netherworlds, one ruled the world of Summon related spirits, one ruled a somewhat peaceful world...


???: So you really sent them... to that world, I mean.

Lumino: This is the only way. With them away, only Xaizor and Marina were left. And it fits with my plan.

???: Plan? What plan?

Lumino: Those two need to discover the truth about themselves. Their destiny is directly linked with Unitia.

???: The memories you might've stolen?

???: He wouldn't do that! Lumino, he's wrong! You wouldn't do that, right?

Lumino: I know he is. I wouldn't steal or seal their memories and give them some sort of falsehood on purpose. Rather, themselves are the responsible for their own memory loss.

???: An incident where both sealed their memories, eventually forgetting about their past or their connections...

???: That has to be an result of the fear they had from the beginning...

A world covered in black and white, left in the abyssal ends of the Multiverse. There was nothing inside it. It was an empty hell, where sometimes the most sinful stood. And in this world, called by many as the Multiversal Limbo stood two young men.


???: So this is the Multiversal Limbo...

???: Horrific, isn't it? A world without life.

???: Damn, everything looks so... dreadful.

???: No living person sets its foot here. This world is a nightmare for the most low of the low throughout all worlds.

???: I can definitely imagine. They're those people who are in black and white, with the eyes glowing...

???: Try not to distract yourself with sightseeing. We don't have much time. If Lumino's prediction is correct, then we're in danger.

???: Sure. Let's go.

They went ahead, through the dark streets. Amidst of it, the walking souls of the condemned ran away as a giant black spider chased them.


???: Those things won't attack us, will they?

???: We're living beings. They won't attack us. They chase and torture those souls, bound to return after every single death, without a chance to resurrect or reincarnate.

???: At least that won't let them repeat their same deeds when they were alive.

???: We're wasting time. Let's move.

???: Right. Let's just be careful. We don't know if something will attack us.

???: If they attack, they're dead. I'll erase them on sight.

???: I don't doubt that.

Mia: I see. In that case, I'll accompany to wherever you're headed. And for now, I won't indulge into questions.

Mia: There won't be a next time, though. As a knight of the Holy Order, I need to know what's going on.

Location: Spring Zone - Sayaka's House

BGM: Tenmu Meteor ~ Royal Monster still playing

The fight continued with Xaizor having the upper hand. He continued to throw ice spikes, but none of them worked.


???: (No matter what I throw at him, he manages to get through. Who or what is this guy?)

Xaizor: Ready to throw in the white flag or no?

???: Don't mock me...

Xaizor: I'm saying that because it's very clear that you're on your knees. The next hit will surely defeat you, so I'm giving you the chance to run away.

???: Tch... son of a bitch...

Xaizor: Well, it's fine for me either way. No one escapes from me once they're my foe.

Another ice spike rose, but Xaizor managed to evade and close distance once again. They fought for some seconds but the young swordsman gained the upper hand once again.


???: What the hell?!

Xaizor: Take this! Sin Devourer!!

Soon, a dragon mouth rose from the sword and went directly on the foe, biting him. He had lost no sorts of parts from his body, but Xaizor quickly glowed green.

Envy Devoured!
Effect: increases attack and movement speed.


Xaizor: Now you're done for. You should've took the chance when you had one.

He slashed him with his gained speed, managing to not give him a second to counter. After the quick slashes, Xaizor attacked with his elbow on the gut and backed off to end the fight.


Xaizor: I'll send you to the ground! Fulminating Darkness!!

Xaizor created a single dark sphere in his hand and soon splitted it in two parts. He unleased the energy directly into the blue haired assailant as it exploded fiercely. The blue haired young man was sent away by the explosion, falling into the ground near other soldiers and unable to get up.


???: This... can't be... Name... *falls unconscious*

Xaizor: Told ya I would win. Gotta say, for the first fight in this expedition, this was really nice!

Xaizor: With that said, who's next?! I'm far from being done with you scumbags!

Location: Spring Zone - Lilina's House

BGM: We Are Finally Cowboys -Golden Brown Remix-

A shot could be heard. The bullet went at the neck of one soldier, but he didn't die. Instead, he wasn't able to move his body at all, like if he was shocked or something of the sort. Sitting on the roof, Azrel calmly smiled while holding a rifle.


Azrel: Sorry for intruding, but it seemed like you were in a pinch with those guys. They're kinda sturdy for that axe of yours, right? At least, that seemed to be the case.

Azrel: We can do introductions later. For now, let's just sweep the ground with the black mops. And if I were you, I'd back off and wait for a moment.

He took a grenade out of his pocket and instantly tossed at the middle of the soldiers Kail was fighting. It soon exploded, releasing a blinding light all around them. Azrel's idea was for them to get blind and leave them open for Kail to attack. After all, even machines can have their accuracy reduced. And if they don't get blind, the light could be a good obstacle and opening.

Location: Spring Zone - Sayaka's House

Sayaka: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!

Sayaka got out, being held hostage by a young blue haired man. The police officer had his hands and feet frozen.


???: Enough of this. I got the girl.

Sayaka: P-Please!! Help me!!

???: If any of you move, she's dead meat.

BGM: Tenmu Meteor ~ Royal Monster

However, the hostage soon saw herself being free. A black shadow jumped right into the field, attacking the young man who held her and pulling him away. When the form became visible, Sayaka knew who it was.


Sayaka: Xaizor!

Xaizor: Are you alright now?

Sayaka: Y-Yes...! T-Thanks to you and to everyone, I'm safe!

Xaizor: Good, but it's not over yet. Head back inside. We'll take care of them.

Sayaka: O-OK. Please be careful, the four of you.

Sayaka ran back inside her house. The newcomers in the battlefield faced each other.


???: Who the hell are you?

Xaizor: What does it matter to you?! What matters here is that I'm your enemy! Nothing else!

???: Sayaka called you as Xaizor... I suppose that's your name.

Xaizor: You're right. I don't need your name, so I'm going to call you as... practice doll.

???: Impertinent brat. Do you have any idea what you're up against?

Xaizor: Don't look down on me, you piece of shit.


Xaizor's scabbard reappeared as a dark aura rose around him. He drew his blade and pointed it at his foe. Scales began to cover the sword as it released a dark flame.


???: (What?! Since when they had such sort of reinforcements?!)

Xaizor: You know, I was really bored and my sister got to fight first than I could. I'm gonna enjoy every last second of dragging you to the ground.

Xaizor: Especially because you bastards are harming my friend for a second time! You're not getting away with this!!

???: Tch...!! It's just one thing after the other!

The young man raised an ice spike with a motion in order to attack Xaizor. He evades it with a backstep and rushes in to close the distance.

???: The hell?!

Xaizor: Eat dirt!!

He tries to hit Xaizor with a punch, but the attack is evaded. Taking the window of opportunity, Xaizor slashed him several times before sending him in the air. He charged his energy and sent the man away with a dark fire blast.


???: Urgh...!! How the hell can a teenager be this strong?!

Xaizor: I'm not called the Dragon Black Knight just for show. Anyway, you two should just give up. You're not gonna win this, that's for sure.

???: Shut the hell up, you cocky little weasel! I'll freeze you and break you in pieces afterwards!

Xaizor: Now that's more like it! I'm gonna have fun dismantling you!

Location: Spring Zone - Streets

Mia kept making her way back to the Winter District, still bothered that she let Azrel trick her. However, this soon went out of thought after seeing Kaori and Andorina walking by, one of them holding a gun.


Mia: Hey, hold it! What is the meaning of this?!

She went towards the two girls and immediately recognized them.


Mia: Wait, I know you... you two are my classmates, Andorina and Kaori!

Mia: Can one of you explain me why are you running openly in the rain with a gun?
