Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Gabriel blinked at the sound of the branch snapping, looking up to witness Argus falling out the tree. To top the entrance off, Argus seemed to be chocking on some smoke. He watched, unsure it he could help or not, and thus waited it out. Of argus appeared to be in true distress, Gabriel would help. As it was, Argus seemed to regain composure quickly enough. He sighed wondering why Argus had followed him, and wondering what the chances were of him losing Argus in the trees.

"it's Gabriel, not Ganriel" he said in an annoyed time, tired and just wanting to be alone. Argus didn't seem to understand that. Gabriel looked away, refusing to acknowledge the sting of tears. "I don't particularly feel like chatting" he said, giving a soft sigh. The blue haired boy shifted, glancing about, looking for a way out of this. "I'm not exactly new to the guild, as I've been around for a few months. Evidently that hasn't been long enough though"

He shoved his hands into his pockets, feeling the reassuring weight of his spirit keys, as he shifted, wanting to escape.

Sasha gave a happy, contented, soft sigh, enjoying What Kos was doing. She never realized how sore and tight her muscles were until she relexed

My friend confessed to me through text. But I didn't feel the same. So he got friendzoned and I feel bad. But despite my hardest to try thinking it through, I just didn't. And it's a bummer.

Aww

Well...better he finds out now then in a few months or years when he's really invested in you, right?

Still sucks. Friend zoning is not fun

@Caits

I know the difference between stressed and unstressed, but, I just can't get to a point where I can hear it when I say it or think it x.x

I just wish there was a place where you could look up words and it'd tell you their stresses...

Or maybe add that to wikipedia articles?

But, Hyperbole, Candid, hunter, woodsman, scissors, that kind of thing, are what's causing trouble. And one syllable words.

Hun-unstressed-ter stressed, can-unstressed, did-stressed woods-unstressed man stressed, scis-unstressed-sors-stressed

Do you see a pattern here? It's essentially what makes he word. Like you can have hunt, but when you add Er, it changes it. And a little trick that's obvious once you know...unstressed is always first, stressed follows it

I need help with iambic meter.

I can't tell which syllables are stressed and which one aren't!

Well, I'll use a simple one. Remark, for example. Re is unstressed, where as mark is stressed.

Say the sentence out to yourself, it makes it easier.

Such as but, Soft! You out more emphasis on soft then but, do you? Typically the word that has more emphasis is the stressed word/syllable.

Do you want to provide me with an example of what you're having trouble with?
