Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

I miss being a nurse
Cassandra well knew that adrenaline could push you to do things you otherwise couldn't, but adrenaline wore off. Sure, she had no doubt Vanessa could have climbed up the hill with billy, but to move through the forest with him? No, it didn't seem possible. She let it go, for now. At the mention of Evan, Cassie looked about, seeing that indeed the boy was missing. What was going on? Shw wanted to go search for Evan, but Kade beat her to it.

As Vanessa proceeded to adjust Billy's foot, Cassandra winced. She nearly spoke up, told her to wait, that she had some mild pain killers in the first aid kit, but it was too late. And probably for the best. But as Vanessa addressed her, Cassandra gave a sigh.

"you don't use ice or anything cool on a break, it can make it worse-particularly pain wise. You just bandage it up, stabilize it so it doesn't move, in the woods like this, we can find plenty of sticks to make a splint which can prevent too much movement. I have some bandages we can use to tie it all together, but never put the tie along the break. Above and below the break is best, and then one high up to stablise it." Cassandra said, rattling it all easily, as she began to death for a good stick. She judged Billy's height, the length of his legs, and found something suitable, liking the thickness. She broke it down the bottom so it bent but didn't break off. "so up the top, along the bottom of the foot, and just above the ankle would be good. Not too tight but not loose so that they slip down."

She dropped down beside Billy, with the splint and bandages, as well as a bottle of water and the pain killers. She lay the splint along Billy's leg, being careful not to touch the foot too much, bending the stick where she had broken it slightly, to the foot, and tied a bandaged where she judged it was best, doing the same above the ankle, and then around Billy's thigh, with competence and ease. "like this, see? It steady's it, probay feels a lot better then just hanging about, and it enables support, without being too painful or restrictive. I'm going to touch your foot now, billy, to feel your pulse and make sure I'm not cutting blood flow off" she said, doing just that, trying to be as gentle as possible. "I'm only going to give you one pain killer, cause I'm not too sure if you hit your head or not, but it should take away some pain. If you fall asleep I will splash water over your face. Stay awake, okay?" she held out the pain killer and the water, opening it. "it's just over the counter stuff, but still." she rocked back on her heels, satisfied. "I'm not going to tell my Aunt the first aid course was helpful. She'll never shut up about it"

Can I's pass out now?
Penny
It could not be more clear that Penny was not happy to be there, but she still made her way down the Arena when, annoyingly, her name was called. What were the chances? As Pyrrha joined everyone else, looking around, it was quite clear to Penny that she was mad. Well, that was fine by her. Penny gave a smirk to the Riders Blade mage, figuring it would be quite interesting to go against her. Penny however knew it wouldn't be...smart to go after the Riders Blade mage, after everything that had happened. But...if Pyrrha made the first move, then she could.

She gave a cheery wave as if nothing was wrong, and then looked to Games Master Sheldon as he began to speak.

Games Master Sheldon

As the participants gathered, Sheldon began to explain what was required of them today. 'You will be on a floating plateform of solid earth, surrounded by a white transparent field extending a few meters out, representing a gravitational field. You have to stay on the earth, if you are thrown out of the gravitational field, you automatically lose and get teleported onto the ground below the floating spheres. In order to make this fair, you are not allow to use any flight abilities outside the sphere. Once you are out, you are out"

As he spoke, a sphere rose into the air, a large flat land that would be a challenge to stay on.

Michael
It seemed a reasonable story, and Michael said goodbye to Zephyr as he made hi way down to the arena. Michael gave a soft sigh, and found a place to sit. He hoped the day wouldn't result in violence among the guilds. He settled back to watch, glancing about, looking for Prince. Michael supposed he could talk with some of the other members, but he was...intimidated by them. Zephyr and Prince hadn't really given him a choice in talking with them.

Carrie
Carrie only sat back down on the bed when it was clear they were gone, and not coming back. Her legs had started to shake, and she was slightly dizzy. Lowering her head into her hands, she let out a few slow breaths, wondering if the shower was beyond her. But she forced herself up, and made her shaky way to the bathroom.

It took longer then it should have, and revealed bruises she'd much rather not know about, but at the end of it, she at least looked presentable. As it was pointless to put her clothes on, she did look through Zephyrs, finding some things she could put over her body so she wasn't naked, although it made her feel like a teenaged boy. She finger combed her hair, and decided that would just have to do.

The only other thing was figuring out how she was going to get out of the hotel without being noticed.
