A lot can change in a year and a half. And a lot can stay the same. Children grow, new ones are hatched. Life goes on.
Nyx sat writing a letter to her mother, the letter she was responding to was open in front of her, and she looked to it from time to time, smiling at the joy portrayed in the words. Her younger brother and sister seemed to get into nothing but trouble, not unlike Castor. And she was sure their other hatchling, when he or she hatched, hopefully soon, would be a bundle of energy as well.
She finished writing her letter, folding it up and stretching.
Tran came in early from working on the farm, more then happy to go back to the house to Orna and their child. He cleaned up before entering the house, listening to see where they were.
Sasha watched Aurilia, knowing that she could be there one minute, and gone the next. An energetic girl, Sasha knew she was no match for her right then, soon to lay their second egg. She sat down with Aurilia, intent on helping her with breakfast.
Hermia wrestled an apple she had yet to cut from the hands of their three month old son, "And just what do you think you'd do with it, hm?"She said with a small laugh
