Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

@BlackPanther
Yeah. Xerses was taking syleste into the room everyone was in, as was Quinton doing so with Gage. So they'd be in the same room, or just about.

"Its like...you find the person that makes anywhere feel like home...because they are it. And thats all that matters"

@Vicier

At the mention of the moon, Connor glanced up at the silver, slightly yellow orb. He blinked at it a moment, before looking back to Kaylee, reading the message when Kaylee showed him. Was such protectiveness typical off an older brother? Connor would never know, his parents had never had any kids after him, and with his mother dying when he was young, it became impossible. "How does he think it will become more known to you if you don't do things?" He asked outloud, merely wondering, automatically his arms went around her as she stepped close to him. Trying in her scent, that curious mix of eucyluptus and smoke.

As Kaylee almost deserpately requested for him to stay with her, Connor tightened his grip, knowing nothing would keep him away from her, knowing he would move heaven and earth to ensure that that didn't happen. He bowed his head to hers, and whispered softly "I won't ever leave you, Kaylee. I promise". He would do everything in his power to make sure he kept to that promise. Yes, he was definetely going to find a place. An odd thought crossed his mind, and he gave her a smile, stealing another kiss from her, unable to help himself. "I want you to be happy, and I'll stay with you, forever".

The fact that they were young, that they'd only known each other days, didn't seem to matter. None of it did, expect the fact that he was holding her, right here, right now. Was it odd? Yes. Did he care? Not really, but the thought that this had something to do with what they were did cross his mind. He had certainly never felt like this, for anyone. LIke she was the piece to the puzzle he missed, that she completed him, and that everything he had, and everything he was was for her. He knew he would never feel this way about anyone else. This was it.

"I don't care if it takes a thousand years, I will never stop wanting to know everything about you, and wanting to be with you, holding you right where you belong, in my arms" He said, his voice strong and caring, the ring of truth vibrating through them. "For now...well, we'll take your brother as it comes, for now, we have to go to the...teenagers attacked. Your friends, right? We can see if they are all okay" While he would have given just about anything to simply go home with her right then and there, at the moment it didn't seem wise to tick off the Man and woman who he had seen as wolves. They were older, possibly stronger, definetly wiser and more skilled with their powers. Angering them could only be bad for them. Reluctant to let Kaylee go, Connor instead tightened his grip, before sighing softly.
A lot seemed to happen at once, and Meinjta found herself being attacked, perhaps the only weak part of her anatomy being under attack, the flame on her tail. Meinjta took pains to always protect her tail, the flame was her life, essentially and Meinjta snarled, rolling backward at Rasa's command, rising to see that the Noibat, Grazia, actually defending her. Amused she said "Ah, Grazia. Careful, or one might think you actually cared" Shaking herself to get the dirt off of her, and watching Kaiser walking off, frowning, bbutt she did havvve more pressing matters to deal with.

Turning to the Yungoss, she chuckled. "Why, goosy, I might just make you beg" She gave the other pokemon a bunny eared kiss-kiss, making a peace sign with her fingers, slightly curled over and blowing a kiss towards her opponent.

The sassy pokemon laughed, keeping her tail close to her just in case.

Without waiting for a command, Meinjta charged towards the pokemon, watching incase Yunagoss leaped away, ready to follow.
Haha well i'll get a post up shortly
naw anyone might think that Gazia cared XD

"How many times can a life change, in one night?"

@Vicier

Kaylee. He clasped the name in his mind like it was a life line, a perserve saving him from drowning. Curling his fingers around hers, feeling like he was anchoring himself as he did so. Kaylee. He wasn;t going to let her out of his sights, at least not tonight. He didn't think he could stand that, not after everything, not after finally finding her, holding her, kissing her. To say goodbye...to let her go...simply wasn't going to happen. It would hurt too much...but he wasn't foolish. He knew she'd have to go home, to her family, but maybe...maybe....maybe she'd stay with him, if he could a place? He very well couldn't stay camped out in the woods, and it seemed that he finally had some roots to plant. With Kaylee.

As the man told them to hop to it, to come and meet the others, and perhaps get some answers, Connor looked to Kaylee, simply trying to take in everything about her. From her eyes, to the very fact that she was wearing a too large for her jacket, no doubt because she had changed her shape too...oh. Flustered a moment, Connor looked away, hoping to god no one could tell where his thoughts had led, however briefly. It seemed foolish to be flustered over such, given everything, yet he was. He tried to compose himself, even as Quinton spoke about telling their families.

Connor didn't have any. With his mother long dead, and his father killed in the attack that had changed Connor, he hadn't had any younger siblings, let alone any aunts or uncles. His grandparents were long dead as well. Suddenly remembering the pink haired girl, remembering her saying her last name, Connor stopped, more then likely pulling Kaylee to a stop as well, as he refused to let go of her hand. Maybe he did have some long lost family out there...he glanced to the man, hesitating. It didn't seem like a wise decision to disobey, but he needed to know the answer...He almost stumbled as he started to walk again, seeing a doctor carrying the pink haired girl, Connor let his gaze follow them, in the direction they apparently needed to go, the man leaving them to approach a small group of adults.

Glancing to Kaylee, he saw her expression and wondered just who she was worried about calling. Were her parents strict? He hesitated, "Is everything okay, Kaylee?" He asked softly, for the moment his own mini dilema forgotten in the face of what was worrying her.
