Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Phoebe looked up as someone seemed to hail her, raising an eyebrow at the albeit… hot young man, and gave a laugh at his words, accepting his hand ”That's because red heads are filled with fire, or didn't you know?” Phoebe found that the easiest way to keep things easy with guys was to just go with the flow- if she ignored them or brushed their offers aside, she found that they tried harder to gain her attention. ”I'm Phoebe, but I actually find the school interesting and a good idea. I'd certainly like to develop my powers more than I have”

Which was all she had time for, really, as Megumi punched Deon. She gave a small laugh, and a smile to the other girl, although she knew that things could go really wrong, really fast, and she didn't want to get caught in a fist fight on her first day. ”Thank you, Megumi, I can handle it from here” she said, in a cheery, almost amused voice, looking to Deon, she stepped closer to him.

Taking a moment, Phoebe slowly looked him up and down, making a small noise of appreciation. Really she thought to herself. Some people are just a work of art… yummy to look at, but that doesn't mean anything. Phoebe was no stranger to dating, although she had never taken it far. She liked guys, liked to spend time with them, but no one had really made her heart race, and it wasn't like she'd had many to choose from, back at school. Her school seemed to be predominately female, now that she came to think on it… curious. Yet she wasn't ignorant to the wiles of guys. She was well aware that her slow aLo still admiring look would inflate his already inflated ego, and give him the impression that she was interested. ”as for fun, well, we shall see… “

Which would, hopefully, distract him from Megumi.

”Impressive…” she murmured, stepping closer still to Deon, so that she was very nearly pressed against him, ”very nice, indeed” she all but purred, gazing into his eyes, for three heartbeats. Beat… she pressed against him slightly. Beat. She leaned in. Beat. She pressed her lips against his, kissing him in a rather fervent move. She kissed deeply for a heartbeat, lingering another. Before he could take control of the situation, Phoebe pulled back.

”Why, you could be fun… but you're a bit of a dick, aren't you? I think I'm going to have to pass on that, Deon” she couldn't keep the slight heat out of her voice, and she did flash him a smile, stepping back towards Megumi, ”so, super strong, huh? That's pretty cool” she said, turning back to the girl, and smiling as if nothing had happened.
I am installing a two post rule, simply cause... I had to read a lot this morning, and we do need to get others introduced too.

So, you now need to wait, at least for the time being, for two post after yours before posting again, UNLESS you have multiple characters, and don't want to post them in the same post.

Like me.

Then it is two posts after your last post.

For example, for me:
Phoebe
Connor
Someone else
Phoebe

Just so everyone has a chance to post consistently
@Scarifar
That's alright, but you can always bring them back ^.^
@BlackPanther
I believe hold off on that. We wrote it in a way that Isaura is gonna be the first to hit the water
Why not post now? We've been eagerly awaiting another post! Vic and I were up until 2-2.30 in the morning writing those posts, that we are excited to see what everyone comes out with!
@Juno@Michael
I need to look a few things up first, but gotta go do things first.
@YoshiSkittlez
Sure thing,

In fact if anyone wants to NPC a teacher, please ask first. Some of them will already be played by someone, e.g. Poison ivy and batman are being portrayed by myself and Vicier.

I'll make that a rule
I need to write a Kalinda post... my other two are being written in Collabs... And I think then that would make all my characters introduced.
Niesha

Location: Mess Hall (building 2)-> heading towards Infirmary

Niesha followed Kristina, getting her own breakfast although she could just as easily have skipped it. Yet during the long years since the outbreak, she knew it wasn’t wise to skip a meal. Nothing was ever truly safe anymore, this morning’s events had proved it. Who knew when it would be your last meal? Better to eat. She was silent, in her own thoughts, as she ate in a mechanical manor. She wasn’t too sure how she felt about what happened, about what was happening. She sighed heavily. While she didn’t disagree with what James had did, she wondered where she’d be, if Kristina hadn’t been there… She’d been sympathetic to Richard’s plight. They’d both lost people they cared about…

Part of her still wondered, if they’d had the equipment, the skills, if they’d have been able to save Zoe. They’d come so far, before the outbreak, only to lose it all, in the space of mere months. Yet the equipment was still there, if not the means to use them… and slowly, the Newman Community was regaining streets, expanding when they had the means to do so. Maybe one day, things would have a semblance of that life lost.

The war on the walkers could last generations… and that was a slightly terrifying thought. Children born never knowing what it was like before… Children growing up in this world? Yet maybe that was hope… the children are our future. Perhaps they fought so strongly, for those that were more vulnerable. Children had always held that symbol of hope… Her mind wondered to the blood work she’d found… which no longer seemed as important as it once had, but Niesha disliked not having the answer to a puzzle.

And her thoughts had taken a detour. She sighed again, pushing her plate away, and putting her fork down. She ran a hand along her hair, taking a few moments to regain her thoughts. Today would perhaps be one of the hardest the community had faced… losing two members to the ignorance and arrogance of one, and one to the vengeance of another? It was different when it was Walkers, or a rival group… Exiling James… to what could quite easily be a death sentence in itself? It wasn’t impossible to survive out there, by yourself, and James was capable. But it was hard, for one person to survive out there, by themselves.

There wasn’t anything she could do about it. Rising, she said to Kristina ”I’ll head about my work now, but I’ll see you around” She spoke softly, taking her plate and heading to clean up, before starting off to the infirmary, to see if there was anything she could do there. If not, she’d head about making sure they had supplies, and do what she could to stock what they didn’t. She’d check the Medical Gardens, and spent some time there. In other words, Busy work. Something to pass the time, and keep her occupied.

The school was essential in the works since the day the war ended. This day is literally the very first day it's opened its gates to students.
