Mable thought that she knew the answer. A smile crossed her face at the simplicity of the idea. The king had at least tried diplomacy and it was possible her would send out thousands of 'heroes' to die in this endeavor. The king could send them to the most dangerous areas in the conflict to assure only two or three of them survived. In the end the public would also believed that the party was wiped out by orcs if he betrayed them. The idea while a good one shouldn't be spoken in the presence of the king

"It's a dangerous mission and he's paying the survivors. It's possible we're all going to die which leaves the option of readying his troops while we buy the kingdom time. I believe in that case we're acting as the vanguard as the orcs will send out a similar force to cripple the kingdom." Mable said this while looking at the King respectfully. It was an excellent plan. The king had to look after his own people first.

Mable gently rolled her eyes. The arrogance in his voice astounded her. Mable knew that Orc's from one band could differ greatly in goals to another. The orcs could be fighting for a myriad of reasons. The man appeared to be skilled however, but his reply revealed more than he'd have liked. Mable had grown up in a border town with the Orcs. The average Orc wasn't a horrible creature of fear, but more similar to human's then most races. The children from each town would on rare occasions meet up for hunting trips. The orcs she'd known however were forced to flee as the new war band arrived. Mable replied calmly

"History books won't give you the Orc's side. A large amount of orcs will fight to test there metal and won't bother conquering. If you have a famine it will force them to raid as it does us. In the past while we in our history claim to be innocent conflict, has occurred due to raiding on both sides. " Mable looked at the king respectfully adding "Have you done anything to provoke them? A slight of honor or stealing food? IT may be possible to create a trade deal if famine is what's driving them"

Red nodded to Snow quickly "Run around to the other side I'll let them hit me" Red could feel the sweat rolling down her face. The smaller slimes wouldn't do much damage against her armor. Ryu knew from his three companions reactions it was time for a proper fight. A sudden glow filled his body with energy. A holy energy filling his body and blade. Ryu held his hand readying his most powerful shield. In the mind of any evil characters Ryu was suddenly a beacon of the opposite. Order, The light side of the force, or Purity Ryu was alight with it's power as he pumped energy into his light gene wondering if this would take a transformation. Ryu had killed more demons than most men. It would be a shame if this Demon required any more energy then normal. "I'm with you! I'll protect from any attack that'd kill you give it your all!"

A green shield appeared gently around his allies. It would take everything Ryu had to hold three shields for any length of time. They'd need to hit him hard and fast without mercy. He already felt the energy ebbing as the civilians fled behind him Magnus before him like a dark god.

I'd like to play as Rand from BOF 2

Rand's powers in game

Young member of the armadillo-like Shell Clan. Rand, like all other members of his clan, is a towering 9 foot tall muscular behemoth with a hard shell on his back. He is very kind and somewhat naive however, making him a gentle giant. He seems to genuinely want to help others and always do the right thing. Rand has a huge amount of HP, the highest in the game. His defense is high and strength is high and you will definitely want him on the front lines taking hits for other characters, however his strength does not fully go to his offense but adds a bit to his Defense instead. He is very slow however and his turns usually come last.

Special Power - Roll: Rand rolls up into a ball and rolls along the ground moving very quickly and avoiding random monster encounters.
Field Ability - None
Special Combat Ability - Wake: Attacks a party member for very low damage. Can wake them up from from sleep status and has a low probability of resurrecting a dead party member with 1 HP.
