@The ghost in black Yeah, I am. Sorry, been a bit busy this week.
Aya Kagamine

Port District

As usual, the beach was bustling with civilians. With the sun shining over with its blinding summer light, it was the perfect day to be out and about in Ginmura. It was about time Aya took some time out of the apartment, especially when the weather was as good as this.

She decided not to, though.

Maybe staying up late on that one piece of artwork wasn't such a good idea after all. At this rate, if she was to continue these late night acts, Aya would slowly transform into a coffee obsessed vampire.

"Screw it, I'm resting up for today…" she muttered, her unusually deep voice muffled by the pillow.

The tower of water that had just appeared from the nearby port said otherwise, though.

"…Fuck."

Stupid villains. Damned monsters. Why of all days did they have to come and wreck things for the Ginmura citizens? Couldn't everyone just have one week of peace without… things destroying the place and causing havoc in all the districts?

Well, that was the world, so Aya had to cope.

The port district wasn't that far from her apartment, so hopefully she wouldn't be too exhausted to kick some evil monster butt. Pulling a white hoodie over her head, Aya rushed out of her door, bag slung over her shoulder. She flipped over the metal stair rails, and in about thirty seconds she was already at the bottom.

Huh. Who knew the giant torrent of water would reveal a giant metal, uh, robot? A poorly painted one at that, too.

Well, at least she was here now. It seemed that someone had already started the job off for her, but there wouldn't be any harm in finishing it off, right?

“Quit chasing me, dork! It’s against the rules! It’s illegal! It’s cheating!”

Ah, there it was. Shots of lime green, black and yellow clouded her eyes. Valence's voice wasn't one that Aya was particularly fond of. In fact, those colours and the way they appeared ticked her off.

"Oi, Val. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

The woman sat on top of one of the crates, flipping a red can in her right hand. A cocky, somewhat creepy smile crossed her face, her dark red eyes gleaming in the sunlight.

"You know, the paint jobs on those crazy tall robots seem to be getting shittier by the week. Seriously, it's not just the durability of your metal minions that need improving."

@Poke
*looks through the three pages of ic*

i just need that extra push of creativity to get this extremely late post done
@VitaVitaAR By the way, is it possible for another magi to 'sense' another magi's mana? And if it is, if someone has a larger mana pool will other magis be able to sense them from further away in comparison to a magi with a smaller mana pool?
"Leroux, Claire and Shorbrooks, Aleksis."

Aleksis Shorbrooks… She hadn't heard that name before. Meeting new people sounded pretty exciting, though. Claire scanned the classroom, pinpointing anyone who could possibly bear the name Aleksis. She would to continue to search once recess had started, but there was no such luck.

Once that had finished, all the students filed into the hall, awaiting the entrance of the new principal. Claire didn't know much about him, but with everyone else whispering and squirming in their seats, she could tell the revelation would be exciting.

Suddenly, everything had gone silent. Not a single person was moving a muscle, playing statue in their creaky seats. Claire was confused at first, but when she finally looked up at the stage she started to realize why the whole hall had gone cold.

This hall is going to start to smell with everyone shitting in their pants and all. But, this man... He is quite imposing, that is for sure.

From then on, Claire was literally by herself. She couldn't find her partner anywhere, and since she was so focused on the chipped chair leg in class she had no idea as to what Aleksis looked like. Heck, she didn't even know if it was a boy or a girl. But that didn't matter. She just wanted to find him or her as soon as possible.

"Well, that is just great. How am I going to find this person with no guidance at all? This school is so big it might as well be a death maze!"

For now, Claire would continue to stroll around until she came across her lost partner.

Vera Meadows and Jocelyn Blackwell

Fifth period had finally arrived after the not so small lunch incident, and Vera and Jocelyn had parted ways. What was her next class again?

"An exorcism class… Now where could that be?"

Once she had arrived the little girl took her seat. Although it wasn't really a Blackwell thing to take Exorcism classes, Jocelyn thought she might as well. Maybe if she actually had some other tricks up her sleeves then she wouldn't be as useless in certain areas, especially with her frail body and lack of physical strength. Sometimes simple spells could be a big game changer.

Sometimes.

Jocelyn scribbled down everything her teacher was saying and listened carefully to the woman's words. She wanted to get everything out of these lessons, and writing notes was probably the best method for her. If there were going to be future tests to study for then Jocelyn could just flip to any page of her notebook and find all the answers there. Her hand was all over the pages of her notebook, jotting down words in rather scribbly handwriting. Many people in the past have always quoted on how Jocelyn's writing looked more like an undecipherable ancient language than actual English. Deciphering Jocelyn Blackwell's handwriting should have definitely been its own class.

In some other place and time, Vera sat at her desk in Mr Alistair's class. Although Vera was a more long distance fighter, gaining more knowledge on offensive and defensive reactions was useful. Especially offensive reactions, since defence was her strong suit.

The man was a good teacher, much to Vera's liking. A good teacher came with a good education, and a good education came with… well a good future.

That is, if Vera managed to survive the next few years of school.

Vera felt her left thigh, pictures of last night popping up into he mind. One of those feathers had almost pierced through her legs, if not for her trusty thorns to wrap herself with. Even though she had narrowly avoided a critical hit to her leg, the feather blades still left a small scratch. If that was going to be a regular thing, then she had to be prepared.

She had to be combat ready.
Kana Yamaguchi

All was peaceful in the city of Rokuro, just your normal, regular weekday afternoon. Kana Yamaguchi, a 'newbie' to this city, was simply preparing herself for the evening ahead.

You know, simply preparing to kill people.

The White Knight of Klarsberg. The only way she would be able to obtain the Origin of Magic. It was something that she - no, her family - had desired for many, many years. And this was her last chance to obtain it. Her only chance.

So, she decided to keep herself hidden. Kana couldn't just jump in straight away and start demolishing people left and right. She would have to be smart. She would have to wait. It was all for the better, after all. Preserving her mana was key, even if she had an above average amount of it. Of course, you can never be too careful.

With her black coat swaying in the wind, Kana strolled through the park, gazing around at the trees surrounding her. Benches, bins, all that typical park stuff.

Maybe she could lift one of the bins up and throw them as a means of offense. That would be fun.

It had been about a month since she'd actually arrived in Rokuro. Thankfully, a not so old relative had been lingering here for the past few years, so Kana was able to avoid the troubles of booking a month long stay at some crappy hotel. Keeping a low profile was a bit of a challenge sometimes, but there were those people who bought her act completely.

A few sprinkles of charm here and there and you've got yourself and award winning actress. The only problem with that is Kana wasn't an award winning actress.

She was a (crazily) ambitious, manipulative mage. And she was going to get what she came for, no matter what sort of troublesome trials she would have to face. Sitting herself down on a bench, Kana tugged on her grey scarf.

Now all she had to do was wait.
"We're doing quite well as long as murderous psychopathic rascals aren't trying to kill people, while brazenly waving their unsheathed Nobles at everyone's faces. Come sit with us, we have a good record for keeping this japery in check, two of two so far."

Claire leant against the desk in front of the rowdy crowd, grinning. "Well, that is nice. As long as I do not get shot by these so called 'psychopathic rascals' then I am sure there will be no fuss. After all, we are here to learn, not to literally backstab each other, no?"

The girl would specifically eye the boy who had pointed the gun to the other girl's head. Sometimes, words and wit really did outshine physical fighting. That glasses boy didn't look impressed in the slightest. And the fact that he had his Noble Arm pointed at the smaller teen? Yeah.

Definitely not impressed.

"In all honesty though, I have no idea who any of you are or how this quarrel came to be, but pointing a gun to someone's head is pretty uncalled for, right? Not that I want to provoke you in any way, I just think it would be better if all of us went home without any bullet holes through our heads."

Sighing in a rather dramatic manner, Claire crossed her arms.

"Oh well, do what you will. I am not too keen to start a physical fight on my first day. It's still so early in the morning I can barely see my own two feet in front of me."

After a few seconds of sarcastic chuckling, Claire took a seat a few metres away from the psychopathic rascals. Just then the teacher had finally decided to stumble into the classroom. If only he'd come earlier then at least one of the students had a higher chance of making it through the day without getting killed.

"Leroux, Claire."

"Ah, yes, that would be me. Let me see… I do enjoy some reading, quite a lot, actually. Gazing up at clear skies really puts my mind at peace, too. I'm sure we could all do with some sky gazing sometime soon."

Claire hid her giggles at that last sentence. Ah, the art of subtlety. Something she always failed at miserably.

Sir Dan then continued with his roll call. Claire was still pretty tired, so she would drift away from the world for a while. Resting her cheek against her palm, the girl focused her eyes on a chipped table leg. Drowsiness always did weird things like that to her.
