I am still on RPG, so do feel free to message me. Just don't have the time or energy to actually join any RP's right now. Focusing on a LOT of other projects, including getting into Audio Drama.

You should play a Blood Raven that was "Gifted" a Salamander suit and is blending in with them.
sorry, I was writing that before you put down the block. And... Well, there's no longer a "Delete Post" function.

Alright, with that settled, when do we start?
Taurox's are taller, but not as long as Chimera's. And comparing the size of the models. The Taurox is half cockpit and half troop carrying. So, granted the Taurox's carrying bay is taller than a Valkyries, it is definitely not as long. And as for weight, the Sky Talon Varient (One that replaces the canopy with a crane) can carry a Leman Russ into combat without sacrificing it's maneuverability. That's, canonically, 60 ton of tank. I refuse to believe that 12 guys weigh 60 tons... In order for that, they would have to weigh 5 tons each. And if we assume that the Canopy that houses them is 10 tons of that weight (Just for arguments sake) then that would still mean that each guy would have to average 4 tonnes each, just to have same weight. My Minotaur probably, more or less, weighs about 3/4 of a ton... A Terminator might weigh 1 or 1.5...

So, when you do the math, weight is not an issue.

I think I am going to abandon the Imperial guard pilot idea. There is just no way I can justify any Valkyrie or A variant being able to hold the members of this group in one relatively small sized plane meant for twelve normal sized humans. Take off and fly without being bogged down the weight. Unless we all crammed into a cargo container and were carried by a sky Talon. That might just work.I will probably move to make a Storm eagle pilot or something. Or maybe just leave the rp all together. I can't seem to get a good character idea going.

Look, dude, for RP's like this, it's probably best to abandon "Sense" I mean, we are talking about armies of 10 foot tall blokes wearing a ton of armour. I think "These people shouldn't be able to fit in this" is an argument that went out the window a LOOOOOOONG time ago. Plus, if we're going for size comparison:

This is a Taurox, its troop transport compartment is less than half the size of that of a Valkyrie... Yet it can carry up to 6, 14 foot tall, fat, muscly blokes. So, going by that logic, a Valkyrie should have no problem carrying 12 blokes, most of which are less than half that size.
Everyone turn off your fuckin' computers.

it's 100 years since the Great war were declared, so we're gonna sit in the dark for an hour and think of the countless millions that laid down their lives for us.
Well, I changed it so they are voxing you both. Also, sorry for the mess, Flame, You said it was disorientating.
Wait, there's two? I missed that, let me re-read that.
If the Andromeda crew were looking out of one of their viewports, they would see space convulse, rip and tear as the demonic realm was opened with the Imperium vessel exitting. Space then repaired itself and the Culling of Prospero stood proud in all of her glory. Morray watched the new ships that was alongside the Andromeda. "Vox them, ask if they require assistance?" he said. "And ask Andromeda if they wish for our intervention in this... Keep the weapons warm, if those false Imperials have followed, I do not want them getting the drop on us." he ordered. It was just an excuse, though, he didn't know those ships... And if it wasn't for the Terran writing on the side of the larger one, he would have sworn that it was a Tau vessel.

-Medical Bay-

The medical work seemed to have been all done, and the Andromeda's medics would probably be flabbergasted at the Imperiums total lack of science used in their medical work. The one that was currently with Father Beneiil would see as he sprinkled herbs over a gaping wound and then shook his Crozius over it, the bones on it rattling as he prayed a little, he then dipped his finger in a slimy, sticky, purple substance before rubbing it into the wound. "You see, I do believe that the Allfather wouldn't put us on a planet if we couldn't live on it, as such, all of my medicine comes from the Mother." he said, then laughed a little. "An Ultramarine Apothicary looked into this and told me "The enzymes in this are antiseptic, which is why it works so well, both killing the germs and creating a sealant across the wound." but I know the truth, the Emperor gave it to us so that we could cure ourselves, rather than just relying on him for everything. You see, the Allfather doesn't simply coddle us." He then remembered that these people had never heard of the Emperor. He smiled his charismatic smile. "There is an old joke from my tribe about this.

"A Hunter is trapped in the middle of a lake, floating on a sheet of ice. He sits and he prays to the Emperor "Please Allfather, deliver me from the certain death of this icy lake."
After an Hour, a man in a boat rows past and says "Jump in my boat or you will surely drown." but the warrior replies "No, the Allfahter will save me." And so the boat rows by.
Another Hour passes and a man riding astride a great eagle flies around him. "Get on my bird or you will drown." but again the warrior says "No, the Allfahter will save me." and so the bird flies away.
As the sheet of ice melts closer and closer to his feet, a Sky warrior astride his flying wolf appears and says "Climb on my wolf or you will die." but again the warrior replies "No, the Allfahter will save me." and so the Sky Warrior leaves.
Then, the ice melts and the man drowns. His spirit ascended and he met the Allfather in Valhalla and asks "Great one, why did you let me die." the Allfather looks at him and replies "Let you die? I sent a boat, an eagle and a Sky Warrior. Your faith is no excuse for your stupidity.
" he then laughed a great, roaring belly laugh. "Bjorn the Fellhanded supposedly laughed so hard at that one that his pelt fell off." He looked his giant patient in the eyes. "Better?" the Space Marine nodded in response.

-Hangar of Andromeda-

The Crew of The Lady Rose walked around a little as they had been left a little disorientated from the Warp Travel. Grumm threw his helmet off before throwing up all over the floor of the hangar, a large pool about 2 meters across with a stench worse than anything imaginable. The rest of the crew put their helmets back on. "BY THE EMPEROR!!!" yelled one of the gunners. "OGRYN HORK!!! WHAT IN THE NAME OF- I CAN STILL SMELL IT THROUGH THE MASK!!!" He yelled as he ran towards the Valkyrie, gagging on the stench.

"Shut your piehole!" yelled the pilot. She waved to one of the deckhands. "HI!!!" she yelled "OUR OGRYN THREW UP, YOU MAY WANT TO DEPREASSURIZE THE BAY BEFORE YOU CLEAN IT UP!!!" She yelled. One of the Cosmo-Tiger pilots came over to see what the commotion was before running away gagging. "And they say Kriegs a toxic hellhole." she laughed, slapping the Ogryns back. She reached into the cockpit and took out a bottle of Rosewater. It had a very strong, flowery smell, for use when on long missions as, when the cockpit gets sweaty, the smell can become unbearable. She walked over to him. "Open!" she ordered, Grumm did as he was told and opened his mouth she turned her nose away before splashing a slug of it in his mouth. "Rinse and spit!" she ordered, he followed, before spitting the rosewater into the puddle of bile. "Better?" she asked he nodded. in response. A button then began beeping indicating that the Culling of Prospero was sending out their return order. "Well... Let's get going before they ask us to clean it up." she said, climbing into the cockpit. She then put on the headset "This is Lady Rose to Andromeda flight control, requesting permission to return to our ship." she asked. as the doors closed on the side with the gunners inside.
Being that he's a Kasrkin, wouldn't he use a Hotshot Laspistol?
Umm... Hammer, If you notice, I did agree with you that Ogryns cannot ride in Valkyries. Canonically, they do ride in the backs of Taurus' and other open topped vehicles such as Gorgons as they can't ride in any closed topped vehicle due to a natural Claustrophobia that they all develop, which is why they never used to be able to ride in Chimera's or Valkyries, which, looking at my 6th edition codex, it looks as though this has been reconnected as they can now take a Chimera as a dedicated transport.

Also, he's not an Ogryn. He's a Minotaur... Not much difference in them, i'll grant you, it's just one has hooves and is a lot uglier.

As for Piloting... Well, Taurtacus doesn't know what the controls of an aircraft look like, much less fit into the cockpit and then fly it. Yoheved, as an Inquisitor is trained in the piloting of several light vehicles that are used for travelling great distances at speed such as Bikes/Jetbikes, Sentinels and Land Speeders. Therefore, if push came to shove, she'd probably have a fair go at piloting something like a Valkyrie, but don't expect a smooth ride... or a for the Valkyrie in question to be used by anyone else afterwards...
