I am still on RPG, so do feel free to message me. Just don't have the time or energy to actually join any RP's right now. Focusing on a LOT of other projects, including getting into Audio Drama.

Computer is broke AGAIN. Dog jumped on me when I had a glass of water in my hand, but some of it leaked in. Posts are going to be slow for the next week.

Mogh shook his head as the Guardswoman strode away. The Space Wolves were a proud Chapter, with a distinct lack of subtlety. Throwing themselves wildly against insurmountable odds was their way, ever since The Holy Primarch, Lord Leman Russ, had descended upon Prospero with just his personal guard and wiped out the entire of the Thousand Son Heretics there. If his primarch could do so against those who were trained to be the Emperor's Hammer and augmented with the powers of the false gods, then he had no right to back down from a mindless rabble of foul smelling greenskins. Although, he had achieved his objective of luring them to him, he looked around for a more defensible position for Two-Socks to chew the Orks to pieces. Running towards the Valkyrie, he ripped the side door off of it before looking up. Luckily the wing had snapped off in the crash, this meant that the Heavy Bolter in the door could easily fire into the trees from where the Orks were coming from. Picking up the door, he smashed it into the ground in front of him to build makeshift cover. Unfolding the legs of Two-Socks, he rested the Autocannon on the top of the cover before pulling out his bolt pistol. The Autocannon had been specially upgraded by Adeptus Mechanicus to have less recoil. He only needed to hold it two handed when moving with it, this meant that when hunkering down, he could keep a hand free. And that hand was for his trusty sidearm. He closed his eyes to pray for a second "Immortal God Emperor, who art with us always, may my weapons strike true and not fail your glory. Amen." he muttered.

Thankies. So what are you guys doing?

Well, last night was really fucking freaky. Just as I was locking up my house for the night, i heard a strange noise under my table... A black cat had gotten in... And she had decided that there was the perfect place to have her kittens... I am not joking... She came into my house and popped out 3 kittens. All of them black all over... except 1 who has white paws.

I've decided that, when they are old enough, i'm going to sell the babies and donate the money to my local vet, who helped me by making Harvey comfortable in his last hours.
Interested.
Mogh continued to halted his fire into the undergrowth as the Guardswoman approached him, spouting some nonsense about being quiet. "Guardsman, you do not understand what this badge means." He said, pointing the Inquisition symbol on his poldron "It says that we shall kill all alien filth that we are able to. Suffer not the Xenos to live, the most sacred of words. It is a promise I, and everyone else that wears this, made to the Immortal God Emperor. By firing at them, there is a chance I may kill them, and if I do not kill them, then the great, stupid beasts will be drawn by the loud noise and I shall kill them then." he said. "Make sure the others are ready for when the Xeno's arrive." He saw a wavy outline amonst the trees and quickly fired at it, the wavy outline exploded as the Autocannon shells hit it and a dead Ork appeared and fell to the ground "Scouts... The main force will not be far behind."
Sometimes I seriously wonder if Vets put animals down because they get off on it...

The last 4 times i've taken a pet to different Vets, i've been told "You can take him home... But there is no guarentee they will get better, you may want to consider having him euthanized." Then, i took them to another vet, who gave them some medicine and they were right as rain in a few days. Naturally, by this point, i've stopped trusting vets...

A few days ago, I got a rescued cat from a friend, his previous owners had lived just across the street from my friend and had moved house, leaving the poor bugger to fend for himself, my friend found him in his house, his fur all either matted or missing, he was going to give him to RSPCA, but I took him in instead, combed and cut the matts out of his fur, and bathed him. Well, after a few hours, i found out he was incontinent, I put it down to him being a very old looking cat. So, I've been trying him with cat nappies, but this morning I found some blood in there took him to a vet this morning. Vet told he that his kidney's were enflamed, as well as his bladder, and that he had most likely been hit by a car at some point. His kidneys were shutting down and he would soon die from blood poisoning, all I could do is make sure he doesn't suffer. Naturally, i took him to another vet to get the correct opinion... Unfortunately, this time, It turns out that the second vet gave me the same opinion as the first, I was going to take him to a third vet, but as I was leaving, he threw up a load of blood... Turns out that this time, I either have him put to sleep whilst he was only in mild discomfort, or have him wait through a lot of pain whilst he slowly dies. There was no choice.

Fuck... Granted I only knew that animal for a week, but... God dammit, I can't help but feel I could have done more for him... I never even settled on a name for him... My friend said he was called Dexter, but i kept calling him Harvey for some reason.

Rest in Peace, Harvey.
Yeah, Space Wolves have no concept of "Subtlety"

But him being alive essentially proves the egyptian gods to be alive, him simply proving that he's anubis would give the humans a sign would give him enough belief to awaken obelisk the tormentor or whatever egyptian god card he wanted

Really? So, if you saw a man with the head of a jackal, your first reaction would be "Well, this proves that the Ancient Egyptians were right about the gods, All hail Thoth." I was actually thinking that it would kinda work like Ultimate Thor, in that people just think he's a nutter that got his hands on something big.

The guy who's only skilled at stealth and close-combat, can't into range and has more mental issues than five Bruce Waynes? Also, you're doing some pretty major altering of the game world's general cosmology. As in, probably-should-have-asked-them-separately-in-a-PM major.

Not altering, expanding. Altering would say that i'm changing a load of what the GM said, Expanding is saying that all that is happening, but other things are also happening.

@Matt:1. As Mr. Pink said, just because it was done in Hellboy doesn't make it something that should be done in a roleplay. Franklin Richards is a character in the Marvel Universe that has the ability to warp reality. That doesn't meant that we should have our characters be able to do that.2. Even subtracting those, it's still eight different powers.3. No, there's a difference. That's essentially saying that a character could develop what would be considered omnipotence, especially considering that the parameters of his magic are ill-defined, unlike a lot of the other characters' powers. And Singe is right on both accounts. The powers don't match up very well, though I do admit that he is a rather lackluster divine most of the time, and including the Egyptian gods is a feat of world building that does make me uncomfortable, though I paid more attention to the character itself first.I do want to stress: But your character doesn't fit the roleplay here. I'm sure he would be great in a different roleplay, but not this one. Sorry. If he was the descendant to a pharaoh and thus had access to and the ability to use magical Egyptian artifacts, like the ones that you mentioned, then that would be a different story. But to say that he is a demi-god/god is stretching it a little too far.

Alright, maybe next time then.

Just because Hellboy done it doesn't make it right to use it in a roleplay. Plus if he cant talk to god couldn't he just say "That guy is bad, make him good or some shit"

Because the Egyptian Gods don't work that way... And anyway, i did explain that in order for gods to awaken, then Mortals have to believe in them. Anubis is only up and about because Kebechet's mum did the horizontal monster mash with him. Part of his character development would be him hating the other gods, because he would regularly return home to find one porking his mum.

Maybe having that awkward day out as he went to the zoo with his Mum and Quetzalcoatl...

@Matt: There are several things that I have an issue with. 1. He's the chosen one of a prophecy that states he will end the world. That is a pretty heavy Sue trait to have, even if the other parts of the character balance out, and it's kind of hard to swallow.2. He essentially has nine powers at his disposal. (I included the communicating with old gods thing and excluded the transformation) That's far above what any character has.3. You specifically mention that he has limitless potential.4. The sensing good and evil thing would preemptively end any attempt at stealth by a villain, as no one would be allowed to join the team or be on the grounds without first going through the background checker.

1) Hellboy was supposed to end the world, and in place of a massive freakin gun, my guy can huck fireballs. My guy was inspired by Hellboy. If it makes you feel better, would you prefer he had a Samaritan instead of his Magic?
2) The "Communicating with the Gods" Thing is purely for dialogue purposes, it's essentially for him to be able to talk with his father at some points. Like a Mobile Phone for deities. Unfortunately, Anubis never heard about how the future was Orange... And his "Ender of the World" Thing, i did say, that he hasn't got access to it at the moment, nor do I plan for him to gain access to it in the near future, it's something that can loom over him until end-game. It's just a little backstory.
3) Yes, Limitless Potential... So does every other character here. And I specifically put "Limitless Potential does not equal Limitless Experience" Because... Well, he has the potential to grow up to be a god... But he hasn't grown up yet, so he is still just Ab-Mortal, rather than Immortal.
4) Alright, that was just a little something to tie him more closely to the whole Anubis thing, but that can go easy.
Having been thrown from the wreckage as it smashed to the ground, Mogh picked himself up as he heard the sounds of approaching enemies. He sniffed the air. "Greenskins..." he muttered. Walking towards his faithful Centurion, it was currently burried under the craft, he would need assistance in retrieving it, but there was no time now, Reaching under it, he managed to pull Two-Socks from it's holster on the great armours back and put it on. Picking up the great cannon, he looked around to see if the others were alright. "BROTHERS! SOUND OFF!" he growled. That was when the Inquisitors moved. "Good to see you still alive, sirs." he said. Which is when the Ork arrived. "DAMN XENOS BASTARDS!!!" he yelled as he brought the cannon to bare at it... But the Inquisitor had already taken care of it. He heard the sound of the Orks roaring their great, stupid chant. "COME AND FACE THE EMPEROR'S WRATH FOUL XENOS!!!" his roar almost as loud as his cannon... But not quite, the sound was deafening as he pumped many rounds into the undergrowth. The trees and shrubs in the firing arc being torn to shreds.
