Player Name: Mattmanganon
Character You Wish To Play: Spider-Woman (A.K.A. Jessica Drew)
Moral Alignment (Hero, Villain, Walking the Line): Hero
Affiliation: Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.) (Later on, she'll switch over to join S.W.O.R.D.)
Character Origin & Backstory:
When Jessica Drew was about a year old, her parents moved from England to a small enclave in the outskirts of Wundagore Mountain. Her father, Jonathan Drew, geneticist and research partner to the man who would later become the High Evolutionary, found large amounts of uranium in their property, which gave them the financial resources to build a research facility to keep working on their controversial studies of evolution, genetics and cell regeneration.

In the course of the next three years, life was good, until little Jessica became ill, poisoned by her long-time exposure to the Uranium that was so prevalent in their land. Jonathan, being an expert on the regenerative and immunological properties of arachnids' blood, injected Jessica with an untested serum made with the blood of several uncommon species of spiders, in the hopes of stopping the tissue damage and immunizing the girl from the Uranium radiation in her blood.

Then, he sealed her in a genetic accelerator created by Herbert Wyndham (A fellow Scientist) to speed the process, but it only seemed to work at a very slow rate. In stasis for decades, her aging greatly slowed, she awoke with no memories of her past, to a world in which both her parents had disappeared mysteriously, and possessing powers that made everyone around her scared and resentful. She spent a lot of time on the streets, but remained behind in the area, Jessica eventually found work as a barmaid in a nearby village. She also experienced her first romance, which ended when it turned out that he was a Vampire... Moments before she was bitten, he had his arm cut off by a man known as Blade, a Vampire hunter that had been tracking him. He kidnapped her and ran, getting to a place he thought was safe, but her fear in the situation accidentally triggered a bioelectric blast that killed her former boyfriend, exploding him into dust. Whitnessed by a local law-man, she was accused of witchcraft and murder, Jessica fled from an enraged mob into the countryside, into the arms of Blade who took her back to his base.

Blade trained her in the ways of Vampire Hunting, martial arts, espionage, Her tactics integrated different methods utilized in Karate, Boxing, Capoeira, Judo and swordfighting. Over their many years working together, other powers seemed to make themselves known, such as her Wall-Crawling, Venom blasts and Super-Senses, Blade nicknaming her "Spider-Girl" After many years of fighting alongside him, they finally caught the attention of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division of the United States Military. The Vampires set a trap for Blade and Jessica to get them onto S.H.I.E.L.D.'s wanted list, by tricking them into killing a number of their familiars in full view of the public, using their super-powers. They were hounded, every corner seemed to have a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent around every corner, they split up to better hide. Unfortunately, this meant that they could no longer count on each other for assistance. Jessica was quickly captured and brought before Nick Fury, who gave her 3 options.

1) Go to a Maximum security prison for the rest of her natural life.
2) Give up Blade's location and help lure him into a trap.
3) Work for them as a spy.

Naturally, only one of those options allowed her to continue her work. She was told to take up a special code-name. Her partners nickname for her seemed appropriate. And so, Spider-Woman was born.

Powers and Abilities (What can you're character do? What can't they do?):

Superhuman Strength: Spider-Woman's muscular density and strength have been extraordinarily enhanced and enable her to lift about 7 tons.
Superhuman Speed: Spider-Woman is capable of running and moving at speeds much greater than even the finest human athlete.
Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Woman's musculature generates less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. She can exert herself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair her.
Superhuman Durability: Spider-Woman's body is somewhat tougher and more resistant to injury than an ordinary human's, although she is far from invulnerable. She is capable of withstanding impact forces that would severely injure or kill an ordinary human with only mild to moderate discomfort.
Superhuman Agility: Spider-Woman's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels beyond the human body's natural limits.
Superhuman Reflexes: Spider-Woman's natural reaction time and reflexes are enhanced to levels beyond the human body's natural limits.
Superhuman Flexibility: Spider-Woman's body is extraordinarily limber and her tendons and connective tissues are twice as flexible as the average human being's, despite the augmented musculature and its enhanced strength.
Superhuman Senses: Her sense of smell, hearing and sight are far superior to most natural creatures
Wall-Crawling: Spider-Woman's limbs can adhere to surfaces via electrostatic attraction. Spider-Woman can hold and carry a considerable amount of extra weight while sticking to walls without falling off; it's safe to assume that the weight she can carry is dozens of times her own, and the limits of how long she can do this before fatigue sets in are still unknown.
Venom Blasts: Her body possesses an inordinate amount of bio-electricity that she has learned to channel and discharge through her hands, in controlled bursts of what she calls "Venom Blasts". These energy projections vary in power; they mostly affect the nervous system in humans. Spider-Woman can regulate them from simply a stun to potent enough to kill an average-sized man in the same way that a lightning bolt could kill him.
Pheromone Secretion: Her metabolism generates certain types of pheromones that can create fear, elicit attraction and/or repulsion on others, depending on unknown factors which might include gender and mood.

HOLY CRAP! TRIGGER/OWEN/BARTY CROUCH IS DEAD!!!

Good night, Roger Lloyd-Pack... You were a great actor who brought a lot of laughter into our lives...
Here, and ready for my enemies to die... BY SNOO-SNOO!!!
Name: Jae-Mas (Goes by James Irons)
Alias: Superboy
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Abilities/Skills:

Vast knowledge of Kryptonian history.
Vast knowledge of Robotics and Cybernetics.
Fully trained in Torquasm-Rao (Kryptonian Martial Arts)
Well versed in the use of weapons. Especially hammers.

Powers:
Solar Energy Absorption (His body can be sustained solely by solar radiation. Yellow sun radiation gives him these standard powers, Blue Sun radiation supercharges these powers. However, Red Sun radiation is very weak, as such, it cannot sustain him, and forces him to work on his reserves.)
Super Strength (Can lift up to 60 tons over his head, thanks to this, his legs are strong enough to allow him to leap tall buildings in a single bound. He is unable to fly due to being young, his flight should come in as he gets older.)
Super Durability (As his name suggests, his skin is proportionally stronger than Steel)
Super Stamina (Can exhert maximum effort for over an hour before showing signs of fatigue.)
Super Speed (Faster than a speeding bullet.)
Super Senses (his smell, taste and hearing is better than most dogs, and can see through walls, as well as the entire electro-magnetic spectrum)
Heat-Vision (Very unreliable. He's only successfully used it a small number of times, it is his latest power to emerge.)
Hurricane/Arctic breath

Weaknesses:
Kryptonite (Not as weak to it as Superman is, as Green Kryptonite isn't as lethal to James as it is to Clark, instead of intense pain, it instead messes with his hand-eye coordination and causes him to lose his balance and coordination, rendering him unable to fight in a coordinated fashion.)
Magic (Kryptonians gained their durability by evolution, they evolved to be able to resist the natural dangers in the universe. Magic is not natural, so they didn't develop a resistance to it)
Lead (Cannot see through Lead)
Psionics (His outside is practically unbreakable, his inside however...)
Kryptonian Rage (He is prone to outbursts of uncontrolable rage. Motherbox keeps this in check.)
Radion (Trace amounts of this stuff is fatal)
Equipment:
Motherbox (A box he claims was made by his adoptive father, it has an extremely intelligent A.I. which possesses Technopathic abilities. It also talks to him and keeps him calm.)
History: Not much is known about where he came from, according to Superman, he came from the Phantom Zone. After emerging from the Phantom Zone, John Henry Irons (A new member of the Superman family, by the name of Steel) took him in and raised him by as his own. James was raised alongside John's own daughter, Natasha. For the last several years, they have been working as a Superhero family. This was before the family broke up. Natasha has moved away to College, and John is working a lot more. In order to work better, John decided to set up what he called "Playdates" In which James got to work with other Young Heroes around his age.

He has learned a lot from his mentor, who he now refers to as his father. He is very reluctant to talk about his time in the Phantom Zone, but assures everyone that it has nothing to do with his "Anger Issues." His Anger Issues are something that he suffers from for unknown reasons, For this, he was given a small box that he calls "Motherbox." It talks to him and calms him down when he goes over the edge. He claims that John made it for him, however, the technology inside it is FAR beyond anything humanity has ever seen.

the Lorinos cluster was home to a great Manufactorum, that, during the Imperium-Tau war, the Tau destroyed said Manufactorum, and so, after the War, the Imperium basically just abandoned it... Then came the influx of invaders, Ork rabbles, Chaos cults, Tyranids. With supplies and able bodies dwindling, they had no choice but to surrender control of the system to the Tau... That's when the Imperium got a message... From a long lost Techmarine, still alive, buried beneath the rubble of the Manufactorum. A Distress signal, when prompted for a Sit-rep, the Marine reported only superficial damage to the Titan... Normally this would call for Exterminatus, but the Adeptus Mechanicus has managed to overturn the Inquisitions orders, there is no way the Machine God would allow a sacred Titan to be destroyed when there was a chance to save it. They have ordered the retrieval of the Titan, undamaged, by any means necessary. The good thing is that the Tau still do not know about the Warlord... But if they discover it, then that could lead to the filthy Xeno's getting their hands on it and coercing the machine spirit to heresy. THE TAU CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO ACQUIRE THE TITAN!!!

The Deathwatch, led by Inquisition Techpriest Viqtor Remly, are on their way in a single ship, claiming that they are responding to a distress call from the planet, as they are currently under attack from Chaos forces, the local Gue'Vesa and Fire Warriors are holding their own. In the interests of not restarting the Damocles Crusade, the Empire has allowed this. It is, after all, a backwater planet with just a pile of rubble that was a Manufactorum, and rather close to the boarder. All of their forces are currently dealing with other problems.
