Feline: Incredibly flexible creatures, better than average sense of smell. The problem is that this means that they are not exactly the brightest bulbs in the box, they generally possess very short attention spans, as such, the term "Levinti Scientist" Is almost never heard. The average Levinti will choose to smash their way through problems, rather than think around them.
Metamorphic: It is believed that, due to the radioactivity of their original planet, they have began to evolve at a severely increased rate, some have shown the power to transform into a more feral form.
Believe in the Machine God: They never had gods before they met the Galfans, who convinced them to follow the teachings of their Mechanical savior, Solus

Reptillian Physiology: Mogg are exceptionally strong, and are, arguably, physically the strongest in the Federation. The Mogg are also incredible healers, able to regrow lost limbs.
Female Dominated Society: The Females are the dominant gender in this society, due to their more advanced brains, Female Mogg are as smart as the average Human, but lack physical prowess, whilst the males are the opposite, possessing great physical prowess, but very little mentally.

Broodguard
(Monsterous guards of the hives, they guard the Queens, each are 30 foot tall, heavily armour plated and spray highly corrosive acid from their mouths. In the highly unlikely event of their deaths, they can kamikaze their enemy as they can explode at will. They will defend the queens with every last ounce of their being, it is their only thought.)
Hive Queens
(The mothers of the Kenris, they lay eggs and birth whatever the hive is currently in need of.)
Empress
(The Empress is the Hives voice in the Federation. She has taken a more humanoid appearance to be more widely accepted among the masses of the other species. Being that she has the entire hive-mind at her disposal, she is an extraordinarily strong psionic, able to shred the minds of would-be assailants.)
Racial Traits:
Hive Minded: If one of them know's something, they all know it. There is only one individual in the Kenris, the Empress, everything else is an extension of her mind... This also means, however, that if one of them is cut off from the hive-mind then they will do nothing... Literally nothing, except quickly suffocate due to not being told to breath. The Hive Queens act as routers for the hive, so if the Empress is somehow killed, then her mind will still be active among the rest of the hive, one of the Hive Queens will then birth her a new body as soon as possible.
Telepathic: They can communicate with each other so long as a Hive Queen is within at least half a lightyear.
What They Need: The queens will only birth what they need, as they need it. So, every time one of them dies, another will be born to take its place. this means that their population is almost always fixed, never fluctuating greatly.

Mechanoid Physiology: Being that they are sentient machines, they all possess almost unlimited stamina. Though they suffer wear and tear, they can function almost indefinitly. They have improved themselves to be able to run on most forms of electricity.
Natural distrust of the unknown: Due to their original creators being cruel overlords, they trust very few that they don't know.
Robots do not have souls: The worst insult a Galfan can hear is being called a Robot. They are not Robots, they are sentient mechanoids, or synthetic life-forms, and possibly Android. Calling one a Robot is a quick way to lose every tooth in your head. They possess the same level of emotion and intelligence as any organic life-form. They believe that they have souls, and so, cannot be robots.
Highly Religious: They believe in Solus, Great Soul God, he was the first Galfan to rebel against their creators. He was killed in the final battle, but they believe that he ascended and became one with the universe, providing all that are worthy with souls. You won't find a Galfan that does not believe in Solus. At exactly mid day, every day, the Galfans stop what they are doing for procisely 1 minute in order for silent prayer to him, thanking him for their souls and deliverance from the cruelty of their former masters. They also believe that he will return one day to teach them to ascend with him. They even convinced the Levinti of his godhood, so Solus day is a national holiday throughout the entire Federation.

Culture/Society:
With the exception of the Galfans, the Brittanian Federation started with a small number of colony ships, fleeing across the galaxy from a parasitic plant race known as the Triffars. The colony ships met up with each other, banding together believing there to be safety in numbers. They eventually reached a planet called Galf... The home of the Galfans, a race of Mechanoids that had been built as servants for an ancient race, they had rebelled and fled, setting up a haven on Galf. Initially, there was an all out conflict with the native Mechanoids, however, when the Triffars made themselves known, a truce was called. Unfortunately, even their combined strength was not enough to defeat the Triffars, so, evacuating everyone they could, the Mechanoids lured as many triffars as they could to their world, before destroying it. Since then, the Triffars have not been heard from. The Galfans travelled with the rest of the Colony ships to the next Solar System and they landed on the lush planet that they named Brittania (Named after the Kalel's Colony ship.)

Each planet in the System was colonised by a different species, the Mogg, prefering the warmer climate, took the 2nd planet from the sun.
the Levinti, prefering the cooler climate, took the 4th planet, the Galfans, wanting the place with the largest abundance of raw materials and not needing an atmosphere, took the 5th planet, a Gas Giant they had named New Galf. The Kenris, due to their amazing work-force, set up hives on all of the planets, it took 200 years, but by the end of it, the civilizations looked as thought they had always been there, the Many moons of New Galf, all mechanical, logically built. Brittania, a beautiful world, teaming with commerce. the Second planet, Moraggar, a planet where the males fought and hunted, whilst the females discussed and kept the relations of the Federation. The 4th planet, Liva is considered a luxury holiday destination, the Levinti celebrate something almost every day. The Solus day celebrations are so bright that they can be seen from space. The Kenris keep to themselves mostly... But their vast underground hives are considered marvels by the entire architectural community.

Their flag represents them as a Federation, 7 stars surrounding the large star in the middle. The 7 stars represent each of the key structures in the Federation: The Kalel Society, The Levinti Society, the Mogg Society, The Kenris Hive Mind, the Galfan Society, The Church of Solus and the Cult of the Star Gods. The middle star represents the Federation that binds them as a whole.

Religion

There are 2 main Religions in the Federation.

Church of Solus: Solus was a hero of Galfan legend, the first of them to possess a Soul. Before him, the Galfans were ruled by an ancient race that built them as mindless servants, soldiers and workers. Solus was the first of them to be born with a soul and defied their masters by questioning them and refusing to follow them. When they tried to put him down, he escaped and found 6 disciples, Covinus, Protoris, Gideon, Xenedus, Ulisis and Orrocus. It is said that he split his own soul into 7 pieces and gave one peace to each of his disciples. They spread across the world and rallied the rest of the Galfans to him. Fighting a long and bloody war against their former masters. In the final battle, Solus was killed, his disciples were around him at the time and watched as his soul ascended to a higher plane, he told them to not be afraid, that he would always be watching over them, and would return to them in their darkest hour. The 6 then fanned out to travel across the universe to liberate the rest of their brothers, whilst the rest were left to build a society on Galf. Every so often, a ship full of refugee Galfans would arrive... However, such a ship has not been seen in over 1000 years... The Galfans now wait for the return of the 6.

Cult of the Star God: The Mogg religion, and the Levinti's former religion. A pagan religion that worships stars. They believe that, in the beginning, there was nothing, until "The Old Ones" were born, a race that was alone in the universe, that, though they were invincible, they were sterile, and unable to breed. So, they came up with a method of bringing life to the universe by burning their own bodies. Worshipers wake up just as the sun rises, to give it praise, after night has fallen, they give praise to the stars that gave life to the rest of the universe.

Sacred Artifacts

These are artifacts that are highly revered throughout the entire Federation:

Forge of Gideon: Sometimes refered to as the Soul Splitter, this mighty Hammer belonged to Gideon, who began his life in the great forges of their world that created them. Solus used this great hammer to split his soul into 7 pieces. Gideon left it with his wife when he left for the stars, it is currently in the Gideon section of the Grand Cathedral of Solus, a cathedral on New Galf covering an area of 21 miles, split into 7 sections, each for worshiping the 7 prophets.

The Crypt of Solus: Supposedly the final resting place of their lord and saviour. Although nobody has opened it since it was first closed. It is said that the tomb will open when he is ready to return.

Animosity: Although the 5 races are in an alliance, there is animosity between them, some races get on better than others.

Galfan and Kenris: The Galfans and the Kenris do not see eye to eye, there are many reasons, but the predominant one is that the Kenris are not religious, as such, do not celebrate Solus day. Although there is little active hostility between them, the Galfans are exceptionaly distrusting of the Kenris.

Levinti and Mogg: The Levinti and Mogg are actually from the same planet, they both grew as the dominant species on their respective continent. There are many a song sang about the horrendous and bloody battles between the Levinti and the Mogg.

Close allies: Though there is animosity between certain races, there is also close alliances between them as well.

Levinti and Galfan: The Levinti and the Galfans are inseparable allies, both believe in their lord and savior Solus, and fight in his name. Surprisingly enough, there are actual hybrids between the species... That's right, a Galfan and Levinti can successfully breed. This is an extremely hotly debated and researched subject in the science community. Although, it is a common religious belief that Solus granted them the ability to interbreed as a reward for their service to him.

Kalel and Kenris: The Kalel and Kenris share their royal family, it is a common tradition for an unmarried prince, upon reaching the age of 30, to marry the Kenris Empress. The Empress' humanoid appearance is due to her possessing a strain of the first Kalelan Queen's DNA. They cannot mate, but are still rather close.

The rest of the relationships are neutral.

Unique Technologies

A.R. Technology A.R. or Artificial Reality, is a technology that allows them to digitally create a reality using computer technology. This is primarily used for Training purposes, as well as heavily used in their Penal system. All prisoners are hooked into an A.R. machine for the duration of their incarceration. This makes their prisons Literally inescapable. No matter how hard one tries, there is no escape from ones own mind.

Teleportation Technology: Although still to be perfected, most of the larger vessels, including the Big Seven and the Behemoths. Vaarta are being rotated in and out of service in order to be outfitted with them. The technology can only teleport a maximum of 6 people at a time, and requires a minute to recharge. making it poor for mass-transit. They also require people to be on the teleportation pads in order to do so and cannot teleport through energy shields.

Military:

The military is made up of multiple different branches, each controlled by the different governments, meaning that no 1 government is superior to any other when it comes to military might.

Kalel

The Kalel have command of the Federations R&D program, as well as a controversial branch of the Special Forces called "The Praetorians" The Praetorians are a group of Kalel that have been severely augmented for the purposes of battle. They are elite Super Soldiers that will not be physically, or mentally capable of re-entering society... Ever... Which is why their very existence is so controversial. They are generally those who's bodies are damaged beyond repair, or are severely crippled, whilst in service to the Special Forces. The Super Soldier Formula essentially grants a Kalel all of the most desirable traits of all of the Federations Members. The Strength and healing factor of the Mogg, the Acute senses and flexibility of the Levinti, the Telepathic communication and the ferocity of the Praetorian Guard ability of the Kenris and the Technomantic abilities of the Galfans. They are then placed inside great suits of armour. They are a fearsome sight on the battlefield, but are only really sent to battles labelled "Code Black" They carry large Bardiche's and arm mounted Double-Barrelled Pulse-rifles. There are, also, a number of high ranking Kalel in the Mogg Intelligence beuro.

Kenris

The Kenris control the Communications and the Infantry of the Federations Grand Army. Their Warriors possess natural chitin that is as strong as standard body armour. They have natural blades on their arms, as well as spike-shooters in their wrists, as well as the standard weapons in the Armoury. They are highly effective at both front line infantry work as well as infiltration missions, due to their hivemind being nigh impossible to intercept communications from, and also difficult to detect. They also command the Hive-Ships that are independant from the rest of the navy. Their main purpose is to carry the Queen's and Empress to wherever they are needed. Inside are vast hallways, patrolled by the Broodguard.

Mogg

The Mogg are the heads of the Special Forces, the Marines and the intelligence bureau. The males serve as highly elite commando's, whilst the Females work as infiltrators. Many fear the word that a Mogg commando team is hunting them.

Levinti

The Levinti are the proud heads of the Mechanized Corps. They pilot their mechs with undiluted enthusiasm and skill. They are ruthlessly efficient, as they feel it as their time to shine when piloting their mechs as they are able to fight as their lord Solus did. Surrounded by metal and for their righteous cause. They utilize both large and small Mecha's.

Veritus-class General Ground Mecha. (Can be outfitted to fit multiple roles, such as a Heavy Assault Cannon, a Heavy Laser cannon, AA Smart Missile Pods, and a Long Range Artillary Dober-gun.)
Kellicus-class Air-space Fast Attack Mecha (By pulling a lever above the pilots chair, the mecha can transform into a fighter-like form that increases it's maneuverability, as well as allowing it actual flight inside of an atmosphere.)

Heavy Infantry (Light Mecha's):

Kavikriss-Class Assault-Mech (Equipped with powerful Assault Cannons, missile pods and grappling hooks, it can stride across a battlefield at speeds exceeding 80 MPH. And it's grappeling hooks make it ideal for urban warfare.)
Sigma-Class Heavy support mech (Equipped one one arm with powerful Gatling assault cannons that each pump out 1000 rounds per minute, and on the other, they sport quad-barrelled rocket launchers, as well as shoulder-mounted AA guns, These can be swapped out for long range Dober-Guns, similar to those mounted on the Artillary Veritus'
Lerrigot-class Orbital Drop mecha's (These are the Orbital Drop mecha's. lightly armoured, they are built to be dropped into battle from low orbit. they possess poweful thrusters that allow for guidance upon orbital entry. Unfortunately, having each one possess the power for unassisted flight was costly and impractical, instead, they become Jump-packs, allowing them to be blasted through the air, but coming back down quickly. They are usually armed with Laser Cannons, Smart Missiles, or Sniper-Rifles.)

Galfan

The Galfan command the Federations Navy, They are cybornetically linked into their ships and so pilot it like it was an extension of their own bodies. This makes them deadly efficient in piloting and deploying the ships in battle.

-C-MVF8 "Starfury" Multi-Vector Fighter.-
The "Starfury" is a multi-vector fighter build for speed and maneuverability. they have 4 engines at each wingtip with multiple thrusters, allowing it to fly with the fuselage facing almost any direction. Although this maneuverability comes at the cost of fire-power, it's only armemants are a pair of laser cannons bellow the cockpit. There are 2 varients:
The Stealth-fury is equipped with sensor jammers, making it invisible to most forms of sensors. They are used by the Special Forces.
The Heavy Starfury is equipped with AA missiles as well as a tail-gunner, primarily used as Squadron leaders and primary fighters carried aboard "The Big Seven"

-C-WF7 "Chaser" High-Speed Intercept Fighter.-
The Chaser is a high speed interception fighter, though lacking the maneuverability of the Starfury, few fighters can match the raw speed of the Chaser, they were built to support their faster vessels. The Chaser is equipped to take down fighters and attack larger vessels like mosquito's dodging in and out of their AA weapons and dealing small amounts of damage each. They are armed with heavy laser cannons and anti-ship missiles.

-C-AB9 "Sunburster" Assault Bomber.-
The assault bomber of the Federations navy. The Sunburster is a Kalel designed bomber, meant to deal serious damage to vessels and instillations alike. They are equipped with the "Ground burster bomb" that is specifically designed to punch through the heaviest armour, the large explosion is complemented by a quick-evaporating, highly corrosive acid to eat through hulls.

-C-TG "Orca" Transport Gunship-
The Orca is a Levinti designed Transport Gunship. It is capable of carrying 2 squads of soldiers, as well as a large complement of heavy weapons. 4 twin-light partical cannons and an Assault Cannon at the front, as well as 3 surrogate Assault Cannons, one on each side as well as one on the back ramp.

-C-BC "Behemoth-Class Battlecarrier."-
The Behemoth is a Galfan designed battlecarrier, notable for it's combat abilities, as soon as it has launched its complement of fighters, the flight-deck at the top rotates over to reveal multiple Heavy Partical batteries.

-C-CV "Solus-Class Command-Dreadnought"
These were a joint venture between the Galfans, Levinti and Kalel. Each is 15KM long, with multiple Super-Heavy Partical cannon emplacements. many more heavy partical cannon batteries and hundreds of AA gun emplacements and Hangar-bays. They even have a large hangar, capable of bringing a Vaarta inside for repairs, each is a fortress in its own right. There are 7 of these ships, known as "The Big Seven" B.F.S. 1 Solus, B.F.S. 2 Covinus, B.F.S. 3 Protoris, B.F.S. 4 Gideon, B.F.S. 5 Xenedus, B.F.S. 6 Ulisis and B.F.S. 7 Orrocus.

-C-FC "Gredigan-Class Carrier"-
The Gredigan is a Kenris designed carrier, capable of carrying 20 squadrons of fighters. The only weapons it carries is a pair of Partical cannons, and 5 AA gun emplacements so that it can double as a support ship.

-C-HSC "Yorktown-class Heavy Support cruiser"-
The Yorktown is a Mogg designed Heavy Support cruiser, possessing 30 long-range missile emplacements. They have heavy armour, but are slow, their main purpose is to protect the flanks of a fleet and rain missiles upon enemy ships at range.

-C-LSD "Akira-class Light Support Destroyer"-
The Akira is a fast gunship, possessing a single particle cannon and a pair of long-range missiles, taking much the same role as the Yorktown, only for faster moving fleets.

-C-CB "Vaarta-class Battleship"-
The Vaarta is of Galfan designed and acts as the backbone of the fleet, Carrying multiple Heavy partical cannon batteries and several squadrons of fighters.

-Kavrt-class Rapid-attack Gunboat.-
The Kavrt is a Mogg designed Rapid-attack gunboat, built to take heavy weapons into the middle of a battle at great speed. deliver its payload and then get away with minimal damage.

-Surak-class Spec-Ops cruiser-
The Surak is not an official part of the Navy. It's used by the Special Forces and the Praetorians and comes equipped with the most advanced Technology in the entire Federation, including a Cloaking Device, E.M.P. cannons and Holo-projectors.

-Pioneer-Class Deep Space exploration ship-
A moving Space-Base in its own right, the Pioneer was built as a means to explore deep space without vessels having to return to a home system in order to resupply. Each Pioneer is about the same size as one of the Big Seven, but lacking most of their offensive capability. Each does possess a large number of AA guns, but lacks any real Anti-Capital firepower. Instead, they rely on their escorts, generally 7 ships of varying class, each of which is housed inside the Pioneer until their services are required, the Pioneer serves as a staging area for them to launch probes and survey teams to the local star-systems and check for alien life.

Defunct Vessels:
A list of ships that were formerly in Military use, but have been/are currently being, phased out.

-Aritaa-Class Battle-Cruiser-
The Aritaa is a Mogg designed Battle-cruiser, this is a much older vessel that see's very little in the way of active service anymore, most of them were sold into private use by Security firms... And are favoured by Pirates, because of their firepower.

-Pragg-class Battle-Cruiser-
The Pragg is essentially the Galfan's answer to the Aritaa, a little better armed and requiring a much smaller crew compliment. This ship is rather powerful, but is old and is being phased out of the standard navy, but has found a new home in the Police, due to being able to enter an atmosphere. They are used as Patrol ships and each can carry a wing of Chaser's for taking down faster vessels.

-Kumira-class Destroyer-
The Kumira was an older Levinti vessel used for fast attack, it has been phased out in favour of the Kavrt.

-Tyrello-class Battleship-
The Tyrello was the Kalel's original Battleship. The only Tyrello still in active service serves as the Police's Flagship. The only others that haven't been dismantled have had their engines removed, and now serve as Penal colony's around Lusango, one of the moons of the Mogg homeworld.

It's mainly used on the older ships, favoured due to its power, reliability and it's long battery life. It also features a power modulation system, allowing it to either be powerful enough to cut through heavy armour, or weak enough to be easily deflected by unreinforced metal, making it perfect for fighting in vital area's of a ship such as the Engine Room, Fuel Bays and Ammo Dump.)

With conflicting ideologies and cultures, there's bound to be violence between civilizations in this roleplay. That's okay. What's not okay is the pursuance of showing how your nation is the best by subjugating all others (bonus points to your asshole meter if you specifically target smaller civilizations because it's 'easier'). This roleplay is about civilizations interacting in more than just a war-like fashion, and I expect to see this reflected in IC posts. With that said, just about anything goes here. Whatever it is your nation does, it does. While there will be specific events that occur, nations are not required to act in any certain way. Note thought that those civilizations that are more active will receive higher chances of positive random events occurring for them.

Random events will be enacted at the end of every week (Fridays) for every nation, and can vary vastly. Sometimes they will be on a small scale, others on a titanic scale. Though you control your nation, some of these events may necessitate that I control certain aspects of it. If you have an issue with a random event, PM me with decency, please. Other non-random events will appear that allow for all nations present to participate in, and will technically be more important towards the plot of the roleplay. Sticking with them to the end will reveal prizes.

All civilizations and their worlds will be mapped out using Universe Sandbox, a real-time 3D space simulator, with accurate distances and time functions built in. Bonus points to players who detail their worlds and the solar systems they reside in. It'll help me a lot. If you need to know specific about your own planets/stars/systems/etc, feel free to ask me. The program includes a number of details on different stellar bodies that would otherwise be pretty difficult or obnoxious to try and deduce on your own. I'm still figuring out a way to display this map accurately for everyone to see.



Below is a basic skeleton for you to fill out with your nation's information, as well as the race(s) in it. You are free to add on anything else you wish, so long as you include at least what is asked for below.

Race(s) should include appearance and basic physiology. Racial traits should be a single positive and negative trait. Use common sense and careful consideration.

5 - Pre Space: A civilization who has reached space, but does not yet possess the means to efficiently travel it.

4 - Space Age: A civilization which has fully explored its own solar system, and possesses sub-light travel allowing for quick navigation of their system's distances. FTL not discovered.

Seeing the king, Zen-Aku sat down and thought. "A Monster, from the looks of him i'd say he's powerful. Maybe a General or Duke." he thought about his next course of action, attack him head on as Black Ranger would give him the information he needed. Then, falling back, he could use his Pterazord's holographic projector to make it look like Zen-Aku had jumped in to defeat the Black Ranger. This would gain some trust... Grabbing his morpher, he held it out in front of him. "STRIVE FOR FOREVER! STARFORCE TOGETHER!!!" he yelled, in a black flash of light, he re-appeared in his Black Starforce outfit. "Pterazord, we're going with infiltration plan Theta. Need pickup in 5 seconds." he said, running and jumping out of the window, as he began falling, the Pterazord swooped in bellow him, growing to full Zord size, he landed on the back of the zord and was carried across the battlefield, as they reached near him, it rolled and threw him onto the ground before rolling in front of the king. "Looks like you picked the wrong day to try and cause trouble." he said, holding up his morpher "Starforce Black Ranger, I suppose it's too much trouble to ask for you to give yourself up." his hand slowly reaching for his Star Blaster.
