I can always write it up as such. A jedi in the squadron is not happening, mostly because I feel it kills some of the fun of the setting in that era -- the Jedi have been essentially eradicated. Yes, Obi-Wan and Yoda and a couple others survived, but in hiding. Luke Skywalker joined the rebellion, but with Force sensitivity and only a smidge of training. I prefer not to turn the canon on its head just to add an implausible Jedi in the ranks.

I know, it's just, that in all Star Wars RP's in which the official rules don't specifically say "No Jedi!" somebody says "Well, I've got a Jedi guy that would fit nicely with the continuity of this..."

Actually, some of the new rules have very much streamlined Titan play. Essentially, they now have a lot more health, but a lot less defense, if you know what I mean. And the new Imperial Knights are really good for taking on Wraithknights.

This... Is... Evil... I mean... I really fucking want to join, I've been looking for a Star Wars fighter RP for quite some time. But I am currently moving house and won't have much time for RP guild.

I will say I am interested and with any luck, I should be able to get back to regular posting by the time that the IC is up. Also, can we say no playing Jedi Ace's in the squadron itself? I mean, I really like the idea of a Dark Jedi Ace being their main rival.

As for my suggestions for the actual RP... Since this is a big ship, maybe we could each control a Wing (3 fighters) rather than just the 1.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not too crazy about the name change, but the new units all look awesome (Especially the Tempestus guys), and after 5 years of constant complaining, we finally have Plastic Ogryns.

Also, someone finally explained Pendulum cards to me today... My first thought was "Oh my god, the game is officially broken." but then, after he finished, my thoughts expanded into "This sounds like one of the development team wanted to make their own card game, but since they weren't able to, they shoehorned it's main mechanic into Yu-Gi-Oh! instead.

Essentially, you now have what are called Pendulum zones, a left one and a right one. You can special summon from your hand any monster that has a level inbetween the levels of the Pendulum monsters in those zones.

So, all you need to do is get a level 1 in one zone, and a level 10 in the other, and you can special summon your entire hand for no cost.

So yeah, after a long discussion, we came to the only logical conclusion... The creators are now bored with Yu-Gi-Oh! and so they have decided to break it.
