It doesn't count if you fit the world to your opinions rather than the other way around. Same for Mr. Grammer. You can't fix problems with empty rhetoric about gubment and name dropping Tommy Jefferson.
Well sure, but we're talking about actors here. I mean, YOU can't fix the world with your opinions either, nor can I, and yet here we are, having opinions. What I like about Grammer is that his opinions actually cost him -- awards, roles, millions of dollars -- and he shares them anyway. That to me is admirable.

The show is deviating a lot from the books, yes. I'm okay with that. The show isn't worse, except for Dorne -- but again, Dorne really wasn't that much better in the books, and the book-version of these last ten episodes was longer than the friggin' bible. They simplified some stuff? Awesome. There's no way we needed all that in TV.
In a book? Yeah, sure, I dug it. It was long and boring and impossible to film, but presumably important to the imminent conclusion.
Also -- keep your Stoneheart, I just want the Blackfish back.

I'm not going to claim to be a reservoir expert, but I don't think aquifers like the ones LA relies on - and has for a long-ass time - flow out unless someone wants them too. So it's not like these balls are going to be drifting out to sea on some idyllic stream that formed under everyone's nose at the back of the pool. And any outflows will probably be gated to keep large or small solid objects from going where they're not needed, especially if that means it's going into the drinking supply where it could fuck up the pumps.
Freak storm or something. I don't know, I'm not a scientist. I just see a bunch of folks deliberately littering to save the water and I figure it's gotta go wrong sooner or later.
