And if it did, that would be pretty incredibly racist, when you think about it. Is urban crime because of biochemistry or economics? Because we can totally change economics. You didn't answer my question. She pays taxes, right? Does this not mean, that in some small way, she in complicit in supporting the regimes of country's that are personally invested in invading poor countries for their oil? I think, being in a country that isn't being violently mined for oil might have something to do with the fact that she can make jewelry, but what do I know.

With precious few exceptions, yes, anyone and everyone can.

That the US and democratic values in general has improved upward mobility from where it was before is absolutely true, but this doesn't mean we have reached the peak.

Cuba's a hole. Vietnam gets $38 billion in trade from the US, otherwise it'd be a hole too. So the difference appears to be who gets money from the capitalists -- perhaps Communism isn't a turd, but a tick?

We had a whole Cold War, y'all had 50 years of iron curtain to polish that turd. Wound up with shit to show for it. I'm thinking at this point that "the thing that literally destroys almost every country it touches, and figuratively destroys the rest" is not superior to "the thing that keeps working." But hey, you get a vote, thanks to capitalists, so you can pick whatever you like.
