Serena smiled as she finished brushing her horse down. "I'm getting better...hopefully I get more time to work on it..." She started to walk back towards him when the world started to spin on her and she paused, resting her hand on the wood railing. Bane had followed valtare inside and called "Serena? You alright?"

Bane jumped onto his grey filly and Serena rode over to the fenced off field. Bane rode next to her, coaching her as they rode around the field and tried different styles. After an hour or two Bane let her go back into the stables to care for her mare and he jumped down, shaking his head. "She's not herself...third day she's been somewhere else mentally...its like she's not even there..." He paused and said "I think its all those princes showing up to buy her hand...she has been like this since the king told her at her coming of age party..."

Serena looked around as a huge man walked out of the stables. He was seven foot with almost white blond hair and bright green eyes. He smiled at the pair and said "Good morning my lady. Ready for your ride?" She smiled and nodded, heading inside to get her horse ready. The man looked at Val and said "She feeling alright? Her ladyship doesn't look like herself..." Serena came out on a black mare and said "Ready Master Bane?"

That's understandable. You take all the time you need, and I hope your brother heals the best he can. You never can rush these things and it's better his resting and healing instead of being in pain.

Wolf listened closely, trying to think clearly as things went from bad to worse. Then she got an idea. She held up her hand and rested it on the wood of the ship. "Please give me some luck here...let this be a newer ship...." She then felt the spark of life and she felt the energy run thru her. It wasn't a lot, but it would do. Then she paused, sensing something else. She closed her eyes and then said "A very new ship...the soul is still there..." She looked over to see Ivor heading for the side. She needed to help the people on the ship. And get the three of them off the ship as well. She took a shaky breathe and said "Its worth a shot..." She pushed herself up, leaning against the helm and muttered softly "Nature's voice...."

Suddenly the ship rocked sharply, the wood around them groaning like under a great pressure. Wolf was panting, her hazel green eyes turned bright evergreen. The ship moaned again and the wood started to shake violently. Wolf smiled softly and muttered "Just a little more...come on..." Then the boards started to crack and split, the top deck opening up and a figure appeared. It looked like a ghost of a woman, her see though form green and yellow glow to it. The woman opened her eyes and looked at the marines, then said "This is my home...these are my children...taken from their homes by a fish on two legs...a school of fish on two legs....they are to be blamed...and the traitor in your mist..." She glared right at Barbary and said "A soul of greed...can be felt from a mile a way....the ones on this ship are not the ones who took my family from their homes...they were here to aid...and you can not take them..." The ghost glowed and the wood on the ship started to sprout into tree limbs and wrap around the marines, mainly Barbary. Wolf was panting now, her vision blurring. It would stall the navy long enough for the three to get off, and questions would be asked now. she hoped at least. She fought to stay awake, needing to guide the soul of the trees that made the ship.

Serena walked down the hallway to the main hall, smiling and saying good morning to those they past. She even talked for a minute with the head maid about some of the interior changes being made. Then they got outside and Serena took a deep breath and said "A good morning for a ride...don't you think Val?" She smiled at him then started her way to the stables, rubbing her eyes as the daily headache kicked in. Sadly this wasn't new. ever since her father had told her she needed to marry this year she wasn't sleeping well. She didn't have much to eat either, her stomach in knots all the time. But she would get thru this, she just needed to keep moving forward. She didn't tell her parents how she was feeling, she couldn't even tell Valtare. They would worry and she didn't want that. She got to the stables and said "Stable master? I'm here for the morning ride..."

Tohru was beaming when she said "I thought it would be nice if we were all together. Besides, no reason for any of us to be alone, right?" Hana smiled softly, glad to see Tohru was acting like selfless self again.

Maggie smiled and said "ITs what you get when you work with a sage....so where did we end up...the manor or house...I just went to the place with more attention needed"
