Megumi owed her head to the leader of the village and followed kylar, already liking this mission. She walked by his side, her arms folded behind her back as people stared at them. She smiled again and said "must get tiring with the looks. And old. I can relate. Master kylar I see we are going to make a great team"

Megumi nodded and said "understood. Thank you for getting me up to speed. And I hope that our village can move forward and find the cause of these actions together" she bowed her head, looking at kylar and her eyes glowed purple for a moment. Her chakra ran thru the room unseen by those untrained as she studied both men closely. *so his blind...but functions just like anyone else. He doesn't need his eyes....interesting. It shall be very interesting to work with him* she thought to herself as she raised her head again. "We can leave whenever"

Megumi smiled again and looked at kylar and said "it will be a pleasure to work with you. I hope I will be as helpful as I can during our time together" she looked back at the mizukage and asked "the council in my village didn't have time to give me details of our mission. I hate to ask, but could you give me the details of what we will be doing?"

Avery laughed weakly as the world spun around her. "Nope...but it would be fun...and make me feel better for what he pushed me to do...I almost showed my true form..."

The door opened and a young girl poked her head in. "A lady Megumi is here...she said you would be waiting for her" Megumi rested a hand on the girls shoulder and came inside, her boa staff and katana on her back as she stood before the pair. "Pardon for my lateness. I had to lose a few tails that were following me. Lady Megumi Shade of the Village of Moonbeam...part of the Shadow Clan." She moved forward and pulled out a scroll and held them out to the Mizukage. "My message and orders, sir." She looked at Kylar and smiled kindly, then looked back at the man behind the desk.

She leaned against him, fighting to stay up right. "Alright...but I will shoot him next time I see him...just in the foot...I promise..."

Megumi was running towards the Village in the Mist, knowing she was being followed. She had felt the presence for a few miles now and it wasn't going away. She stopped running and jumped into the trees, using her shadow charka to hide from sight. She waited and sure enough three ninjas appeared, looking around. One said "Where did she go?" The other said "No clue, but the boss won't be happy if we don't bring her back..." The last one sighed and said "Lets get back...maybe she took a different route and we didn't see it" They all vanished and she sighed. "Spirit hunters...so not my day..." She used the trees to make it to the village, landing in front the of the gates and showing the ninjas there her papers, looking around. Then she headed to where they said the Mizukage was located, walking thru the city

Bane nodded and laid down by the lords chair. "This means now I can sleep..."

Maggie let him lead her, feeling more tired then she had before. She stumbled a few times before they got to the room, Maggie stopping at the door and saying "you drugged me, Sebastian..."

Bane nodded and stood up as Maggie swayed a bit and held her head. "Bloody...guess I need more sleep then I thought..." Bane whined. "Boss, maybe you should..." He looked at Sebastian, silently asking him to help her.

Maggie took another sip of her tea, blinking hard as she said "Interesting...now I'm wondering who really sent the letter. They family doesn't seem big on outside help...so why hire me and Bane..." She stood up and went over to the window, holding the tea cup in hand as she thought it all thru. Bane looked at the butler and said quietly "I'm guessing you slipped her something? Hopefully its strong enough...most stuff isn't enough to take her out"
