Avery shook her head. "It will move too fast if you lay down. I have to corner whatever you got hit with....just stay right there..." Her hand glowed along with her eyes and she said "Got it...looks like someone got you will a Energy Worm...most likely to track you and to slow you down..." She pulled her hand slowly back and a black and green energy worm came with her hand, her eyes still glowing as she pulled it away from him and slipped the worm into a container in her bag. She looked at him, her eyes still glowing. "Better?"

She didn't lose her cool at all as she said "Needed a change of view...and I'm looking for something...hopefully I can find it here..." Tony walked up at that point and said "Boss, I hate to interrupted but we have to get around to the other big names in the city." Maggie smiled at Nate and said "I hope to see you soon, Mr. Cole..." She walked away with Tony, who put a arm around her to keep her from limping. He said "I can sneak us out the side door..." Wolf shook her head. "No...I have to stay and do my part..." Tony sighed and said "Alright, two hours then I get you out of here, got it?" She nodded and Tony left her side to talk to the big business guys while Margaret sat down and closed her eyes, getting her grips again

Lily stopped dead and turned to the Guild member, shaking slightly. But when he asked her to speak with her she nodded. She remembered that Lady Shade told her not to lie or to worry. And when Lady Shade said that, Lily knew everything would be alright. She walked up to the man and said "My name is lily, sir...and I know why your here. There is a monster in the shrine...a terrible creature...Every two days we find someone else dead...its getting worse..." She hugged herself and took a few deep breaths. "But everything will be alright now...right?" Just then a older man came to the opening of the shrine and said "Lily? Where have you been? Its time for the ceremony..." Lily looked at the man and tilted her head. "But...its too early for the mid day..." Then she went white and moved back, staring at the High Priest.

Megumi landed inside the Shrine grounds, her cloak hiding her face from view. She just had to follow the scent and then she would handle this monster. Lily was right to be scared, this demon was smart. And if her nose was right, this demon was a high demon, meaning it had more tricks up its sleeves then a normal demon would. She headed inside, sniffing and using the shadows to hide from the other people in the shrine.

Avery caught him, her eyes narrowing. "I doubt that..." She tapped her watch and said "Whix, I need a scan of my friend here...I know I'm on a job but I can't just ignore this" Whix appeared and said "Umm...boss? This guy has two hearts...what I'm picking up is that his second heart is being taxed. Which could be only a few things do that..." Avery frowned and said "Figures first guy I run into...alright fine." She had the Doctor sit down and she rested her hand on his chest. "Whix? Left or right?" "Left" "Thanks" She moved her hand to the left side of his chest and closed her eyes. "Just hang on, Mr. Oncoming Storm...you'll be better in no time..."

Fox stepped down, not seeing the man heading her way. She tapped her ear wig and said "Tony...can we leave?" Tony said "Not yet, you have to make a scene. We need you to get signed remember?" Then a hand was in front of her and she looked up and smiled. "Its a pleasure to meet the Son of Helios. I have heard many good things about you" She took his hand and shook it, smiling softly. Her hand was shaking and out of the corner of her eye she saw her shadow moving on its own. She moved her foot, stepping on her shadow. It stopped moving and went back to its place. "Oh, I'm Margaret Shade, or Fox Silver if you prefer stage names"

Avery looked at him and said "Your not looking to good, my friends. If you like, I can take a look at you and maybe help you out...I am trained in the healing arts." Avery always forgot how to talk on certain planets. The on earth, having powers like hers was not normal. But she had a job, and it made her feel a lot better helping someone then protecting someone who reminded her of her past.

Avery Coppershade was the captain of the ship, the Glory. Well, that was the name it had in the port cities. Its real name was the ShadowStrike. But since her father had died and his will saying to change the name to that, Avery did as her father wished. But in her heart it would always be the ShadowStrike. Avery had just gotten onto the main deck, her first mate, a Mr. Dante Williams, from getting some goods sold from their last trip. She had Dante put the gold and cash into the vault when a small robotic fox ran up to her, barking with glee. She smiled and bent down, rubbing its head. "Hello Engine, did you miss me?" She stood and called "Mr. Clark! I want a role call in fine minutes, then when everyone is on board, we head out." She heard the reply and headed to her cabin, rubbing her eyes. She was beat. She hadn't slept well lately and the last two week the ship had been attack three different times. They had won of course but it was all starting to wear her out. She shut the door to her cabin and sighed, leaning against the door and closing her eyes. She said "Arachnid? Can you make sure we have no unwanted guests on board?" she heard a chirping and a huge spider landed in front of her, rubbing its face against hers and then climbing back to the higher parts of the cabin and vanishing for sight. The Glory was full of Avery's inventions. The crew didn't mind and most of her machine friends were loved by the men. Avery sat down at the huge table and started mapping out the next course, hearing the steam engines kick into life and start heading out of the port.
