Bane shrugged and said "Why not? She wants to be a expert on the world of the unknown...it would be nice for a little truth to be let out. Besides...I don't see the harm" Avery nodded and said "I only ever wanted to be like my dad in the world of myth...we just add more information to the myths, nothing more"

Bane flinched, hiding his pain as much as he could. "You don't have to do this...I'll be alright on my own..." He was feverish and had a lot more wounds from the bullet wound. HE was a mess.

Avery shook her head and said "of course. I would never speak of this...but, can I ask one thing? Can I stay and learn more about you and your world?"

One man was behind him and raised his shot gun and aimed. Bane came out behind the vampire in time to spot the shooter. " look out!" He shifted and jumped on the man, taking the shot and pinning the man to the ground. After a minute he shifted back, coughing as he stood. He turned to see The Lord looking at him and said "thank you...for freeing the others..." He swayed on the spot, bleeding from his shoulder.

Avery nodded as bane said "I'm fine. I will see them tonight, besides...I'm just glad that you are alright" Avery looked between the two and said "you two go way back don't you?"

Bane moved to see the eyes and then moved in front of the women in the room, breathing hard. "My lord...I ask you to not hurt them...they are captured like me...please spare them..." One said quietly "bane don't...your still too weak..." Bane shook his head and said "if I must fight you to defend the pure ones...then I will..."

Avery nodded as Bane changed the bag and said "I do...and last night. You saved my life twice now. But...why?" Bane said "Not that Scarlet Boss. Her sister, Mary Scarlet. The witch? Remember? Lily Scarlet left last week for the trek. Anyway, you should be back to normal after this bag. And you need to rest..." BAne sighed and looked out the window, thinking. It had been a long time since he had seen his pack. A long time since he had been in the service of his master....

Bane was patting, covered in blood as another wolf laid infront of him, dead. The human behind him said "Nice work, kid. You'll be great for the mob families..." Bane looked back at him, panting. "I don't want to do this...all I want is to go home..." HE smield and said "Your a war vet boy...and you're now to be sold to the highest bidder thanks to the guys who found you" Bane closed his eyes, trying not to whine in saddness. All he wanted was to go home.

Bane sighed when he fianlly started to come around and said "A couple fo hours...I already talked to the Alpha and told him what happened. Luckily he didn't mind pushing the meeting to tonight. I also asked Lady Scarlet to come from her shop and finish the tour and see the group off. Though Ms Shade..." Avery said "I'm staying here. You wouldn't be like this if it wasn't for me...besides, my father is in town anyway doing work so I wasn't going back with my classmates anyway. How are you feeling?"

Bane cursed and ran to him, picking him up and muttering "boss you stubborn fool....why would you leave the blade out in the open like that..." He set him down gently and grabbed a bag from the closet and then the freezer and picked up three IV bags of blood. "Help me get him to your room. We will restore his blood this way..." Avery nodded and took the supplies while bane picked him up and they ran to her room, bane locking the door and setting up the IV while Avery made alucard more comfortable.

Avery walked inside, shutting the doors behind her as she almost floated in, pulling her purple shades off and slipping them into her inside pocket. "I do beg pardon, but really boys, can't you think a better way to get money then this?" She kept walking, noting everything, including the striking young man on the floor about to be shot. "I mean, whatever happened to come mercy you know" she pulled a chair out and sat down, pulling the chair infront of Vash and sitting, crossing her legs and looking at the gunman. "It's a pure waste of good metal and blood to earn money this way, don't you think? Bullets, wounds, killing....there has to be a better way...." One of the goons said "and what way are you thinking lady?" Avery smiled and said "I'm so glad you asked...." She pulled out a small blade and threw it at the light, cutting the light and clouding the room in darkness. Suddenly there were a couple gasped before the light came back on. All the goons but the boss were either across the room out cold or laying in what was left of the furniture they were smashed into. Avery hadn't moved a inch as she looked up. "See? Isn't that better?" She smiled again, knowing she was next to get shot.
