Maggie, do not do what I know you want to do" Maggie shook her head and said "if it's a monster people will get hurt" she looked at yami and said "get to the others and get them out if here. Your powers will protect them" she ran back inside just as the alarm went off. The man looked up, his eyes glazed over and dead. Maggie spotted him and already knew what was coming. She tapped the ear piece and said "raph, valon, Alister, get everyone out now."
Tea and Mai headed to the doors with the others, but yugi was looking around for yami. Raph caught and said "we got to go now" yugi shook his head and said "not without yami"

Okay for all those I’m writing with, I’m not going to be on as much this week for I am on my own with the kids this week and I’m also trying to redo my office space. I promise I have not forgotten.

I am Megara Foxfire and I have been on the site for around 11 years now, old site then the new site. I am married to a wonderful man who makes me happy every day and I am a interior designer. I am at home with our daughter and son and I love to write to pass my time when I'm not cleaning my house or doing other wife things.
I love doing 1X1 role-plays and I love using thread or pms. I either go off my interest thread, which I have one that is more updated going or I have a list of characters that I am working on to base plots on. If you are interested in being partners just PM me and I'll talk with ya on ideas. I write causal, sometimes higher if the story grabs me.

Avery shot up, breathing hard. Her wrist was glowing where the mark used to be as she took sharp breathes. She looked at him and said " thanks....I shouldn't have dosed off..." She held her face, shaking
Avery started muttering in her sleep, turning her head. A couple beads of sweat ran down her face as she turned over, her voice getting a little louder. In her dream she was trying to reach a young man that was far away from her, a dark figure with red eyes right behind him. "Brother! Turn around! Run! Thomas run!"
Raph nodded and said "I'll stay with the pharoh and Maggie. Yugi? You heading back....yugi?" Yugi was looking at the stage, a confused look on his face. Someone was standing infront of it, his head down and wearing just a white shirt. He had been there a while and something wasn't right. Yugi said "guys....something isn't right here...,"
Maggie smiled and said "I think one more dance then..." Suddenly guardian and dark magician appeared and guardian said "we have a problem. Shadow magic. And it's getting stronger" Maggie looked around then pulled her pendent to look at it and it was glowing. "Oh no...."

Avery waved her hand as he worked on her wounds. "You needed me....I'm here to keep you save. So you come first" she flinched again and said "besides....like I could rest now"
She moved her hands and let him pull the glass bits, looking beat. "I'm fine...just a rough few days is all...."
Megumi stood, rubbing the mark and said. "I will think about it....and I will come to you when I reach a choice. Thank you..." She suddenly vanished into the shadows, not wanting to be followed. She reappeared in what looked like a garden. She sensed she was alone and sat down, wrapping her arms around her legs and hiding her face with her knees. A couple tears went down her face silently as she muttered " I'm so sorry father.....I'm so sorry...." She cried into her knees, the shadows around her almost wrapping around her to comfort her.
Scarlet shrugged and said "you know me, I do my own searching. Besides, the council will just take it to extremes and want her tested...,no, I'll see what I can find. Maybe find her fathers records. The old spirits didn't do anything without a good reason..." She turned her head suddenly, her eyes glazing over for a moment, then said "she's in the peace gardens....she used her powers to leave. Malik is not going to like that...."

Whix looked at him and said quietly "talk to her...please. She's going to burn herself out at this rate, and those wounds look nasty...." Avery was still getting glass out of the wounds, having problems reaching some of them

Maggie looked at him, almost smiling. She remembered the night she had said almost the same thing to him...
Atem was pacing outside on the balcony outside his room, still wearing his robes from the meeting he had had with the council. He jumped when he heard Zahra say " you should be asleep, my king. You've had a long day" he turned too see her walk out of the shadows, wearing her simple riding gear. "Zarha, where have you been?" She smiled and said "around. I was checking the border points for master seto. He was worried about the defenses. That last attack was too close to the palace for his nerves...which I agree" Atem walked over to her and said "I don't think I can do this....whatever is behind these attacks, it's stronger then anything we have ever seen...I'm not my father, I can't defend the whole kingdom..." Zahra looked at him then rested a hand on his cheek. "You are never alone, my little prince....you have your people, the guard, and the council all ready to be at your side....and you have me in the shadows ready to act on your behalf" she smiled and added "you are a great king....don't forget that"
