Okay guys, we're pretty much ready to get underway, just a few touch ups and I'll post the first IC post probably tomorrow. There's one thing I forgot to mention in the first post, with powers I'm super pedantic about powers matching up on characters. I can't stand it when they don't make sense together for me, like having someone who can fly, but also make spikes some out of their skin. For me powers have to have a relationship, like ice control and an immunity to cold, 2 different powers but work together. So we may have to fix some things there I'm super sorry about imposing this rule after you've all made your CS, but I haven't done a 'super' RP in ages so I forgot about it.

Tempest- Just need to get the CS done

Letter- You need to stick an age on Ellione, unless there's a specific reason like amnesia etc, there's no reason for her not to have an age, also I don't see how Weight Manipulation and Healing Empathy (if there is a relation I'm missing please feel free to tell me). Also need to do a power origin for Andrew, remembering no 'I'm a mutant from birth' excuse.

Bosco- I don't see a relation between Uncanny strength and rubber body, extremely durable and can change his appearance. I could see it between the last 3, rubber is pretty durable and with with proper application can lead to appearance change. Maybe just make him stronger than normal (or is he that way already and I just misread, I'm sorry if I did)? Rather than just having it a super power. That would be fine. Just also need a power origin.
As for the dad, he's perfect ^_^

Powers/Abilities: Has a fair amount of magical ability, which derives from her ancestors, as such can sense the magical aura in others.
Her main power is used to control the Starr Cards, powerful cards that were created by her ancestors and passed down through her family using the Sealing Wand or Starr Wand. These cards have various abilities depending on which one is used, 52 in total.
The Cards were created by the half-English, half-Chinese sorcerer named Reed Starr. They are the result of the combination of Eastern and Western magics and formed the basis for a new kind of magic unlike any other seen so far. The cards are all stored inside the Starr Book, sealed with powerful magic and passed down from generation to generation within the family.
The cards represent a combination of Eastern and Western magic centered on the concepts of natural forces and elements.
The cards can only be controlled under your command if you become it's owner. In order for it to be yours, you must sign your name, otherwise they can run loose again. The card will go to whoever binds it's power, meaning the one who defeated it.
Each card has its own personality, ranging from good-natured to violent and its own powers that are mostly centered around an elemental force or performing a specific task. When in use or acting on their own, the cards assume alternative forms that vary from card to card.
Within the deck, there is a hierarchy. Firstly comes the Master/Mistress of the Cards, below them are the Four Elements (the Earthy, the Firey, the Windy and the Watery) and the Two Attributes (Light and Dark). The remaining forty-six cards are divided up between those six. Each attribute has seven cards under them, while each element has eight under it.

Weaknesses: Being young in age, Rylla has very little experience in the field of battle. She often gets nervous in fights and is not very confrontation in nature, meaning she often hesitates when action is needed.
Her magical abilities are also still developing, meaning her ability to control the Starr cards is rather limited at this point, meaning at this point she can only manage to use one card at a time, though has hopes of being able to use multiple in the future, some of the more powerful cards rendering her weak or even unconscious after use.
She can only use the cards after summoning the Sealing/Starr wand, which requires a verbal incantation and a short space of uninterrupted time. Should she be separated from the wand or card/s she would have to retrieve it again before being able to use any more cards. She must also always carry the book or cards around with her, as she can’t use their power without the cards physically present.
One last drawback is that not all of the cards are useful in battle, as that was not their original intention and balance was needed in order to create them. So whilst some present obvious uses, others may have to be used in more creative ways to be useful, or perhaps avoided all together in a fight, limiting her options further.

History:
Born into a magical family on her mother’s side she was trained from a very young age to harness her magical powers and began to learn how to use the Starr cards, learning all their abilities, personalities and uses. Only a few months ago the cards were given to her and transferred to her name, which was odd as it was usually later in their teens that the cards would change hands. However the reasoning for this became apparent when her mother and father died in a car accident a month or so later.
Her mother having been her mentor, since there was no other, had arranged for a friend of hers to take to Rylla to a place where she’d be able to continue to develop her magical abilities through practical experience, organising for her to join a new group of young super heroes that had been spoken about forming a few months prior.

Powers/Abilities: -Keen eye and proficiency with a crossbow, nothing superhuman, but would be able to place top 3 in the Olympics if it was a sport. Uses a specially crafted crossbow with a quick reload.
-Has a close, almost physic bond with Valor, but this is just a matter of the pair having been together since they were both very young.

Please note that this is a CLOSED RP and the players have already been selected.

The world has always had heroes. But these heroes aren't going to be around forever. And so, a new generation of heroes emerges.

This RP will be about this new team of super heroes. They're all young, all still in training. Each player will need a young hero (between 13-17) and a mentor for their hero though the main focus will be on the young heroes, which will have their own team with their own missions on their own, without the adults.

A few things I did not think of/ make clear in the interest check:
-This will be fairly present time.
-The young team's base will be hidden within a mountain by the sea (original I know but I'm trying to get a very classic superhero feel here)
-Multiple characters are just fine with me, either two separate partners or maybe the mentor has two pupils, that's fine.
-Powers: this was bought up in the interest check and I'm really not looking for mutants in this RP, think more Justice League than X-Men. So powers will be more Aliens, Magical beings, extra-dimensional beings, people who just happen to be very talented, scientific side effects kind of things.
-If you want to draw inspiration from already existing things, that's cool, wanna be just like Robin? That's fine. But I don't want already existing characters actually in the RP, so you can't be like 'this is my character and his mentor is Batman'. His mentor could have been trained by Batman, but no Batman.

Living the Dream

A hot, dry wind blew through the air, particles of the red dust the covered the terrain were swept along by the wind. Ruby landed confidently on the ground, though she had been expecting the drop. She quickly moved out of the way as the boy that had been following her fell through the door and into the dirt. There was no time for hesitating, however, as she saw a shadow pass over them. Looking up for a moment she barely had time to react as a large foot came down towards the boy. “Look out!”

Ruby ran forwards and tackled Christopher to the ground, landing on top of him as a large creature walked carelessly over the top of them, unaware of their presence. It was at least three metres tall, easily double her height. The creature had finished passing over them but Ruby still held him to the ground as a massive cart it was pulling quickly followed. As soon as it had passed over them she jumped up, looking around before she grabbed his arm and pulled him to his feet. And with a quick burst of speed she pulled him into what appeared to be a small tunnel and she pressed him against the wall.

Before he had too much time to react she quickly pressed a hand to his mouth and moved her finger to her lips, signalling him to be quiet. A few long second of almost silence passed before a loud voice boomed through the crater. “RUBY!” The voice seemed to echo all around them, practically shaking the ground. She turned her head sharply and looked out to where they had just come from. “Stay here.” She whispered softly, her voice perfectly matching that of the one that had called out to him in the darkness and the one that had shouted out to him just before he had been crushed.

The girl slowly pulled away from him, turning and walking back out of the tunnel and into the light. Outside, the landscape was indeed a strange one, with walls rising high around them and wide paths caved into the cliff side leading up to the top. There was a large tunnel entrance to the left, which was obviously used as some kind of mining site.

I'd say maybe just test out a first post maybe? It would be something like the introduction of your character, some interaction between them and their mentor, where the mentor explains that a group will be formed between them and some other young heroes as a kind of training for when they get older? Is something like that okay do you think?

“Chris? Chris! Open your eyes Christopher!”

It was dark; around them all was just a black expanse of nothingness, with this strange girl’s voice coming out of it. A strange mewling sound could be heard from one of the only two figure in this blackness, a strange lavender coloured cat-like creature sat contently on the ground, blinking up at him. It had large pointed ears and big black eyes and a tail that forked at the end. It didn’t seem overly bothered or disturbed by the blackness, it just sat there looking at him, blinking every now and then. The cat mewled again and stood, looking at him expectantly before it turned and began walking away, but took only a few steps before it stopped and turned to look back at him.

“Hurry! There isn’t much time!”

That voice again, ringing out from all around him but with no visible source. Unless it was the cat. But then why would it be meowing at him instead of just talking?

The cat was certainly not slow, once it realised he was willing to follow it began running at a pace fast enough that he would had to jog to keep up. As it ran though the darkness, which was firm underfoot but still disorientating as it had no visible difference from anything else around them a small speck of light appear off in the distance. The cat stopped as it reached the light and once again waited for him. Once he caught up it looked at him, blinked a few times before turning and walking through the white-door shaped object in the emptiness and vanished. There was nothing on the other side of the door, for that is what it looked like, and nothing could be seen through it.
