@shylarah Might have to. They can always come in later on if/when they're back.
I'll give it until I'm done with work tomorrow (that is, about 3pm BST), and then we'll go into the next round.
"I'm only here because I want to be." Colt quickly said, glancing up from his phone, sounding a little annoyed. He didn't want anyone to think that they were becoming friends of the sort. That was too dangerous.
He looked at Liza. "And why would a werewolf - if they even exist - leave 'perfectly good meat'?"
He listened, trying hear the banging that Liza was asking about, but he was starting to think that it was a poor attempt at a prank to try and scare them. Well, Kimberly.
"I don't hear it. Maybe it's just you being overexcited."
@SouffleGirl123 It's okay haha, love the enthusiasm though! Maybe if we wanna play out what happens during the timeskip?

@ShankySpice Not a strict posting order, just rounds of posts.

Looks like Anciek hasn't been online in a couple of weeks. I don't want everyone to be waiting too long.
"Well now, we don't know that it's necessarily 'old and rotting'." Colt said, and shrugged off the comments about the ghosts. He didn't believe ghosts existed anyway, so it made no difference to him whether they liked him or not.
He looked back at Kimberly in the mirror. "There's reasonable, non-paranormal explanations for everything. That guy probably encountered a bear or mountain lion. And service out here is extremely spotty."
Then, he went back to scrolling through social media on his phone.
Colt rolled his eyes, and then got back into the van. He'd rather walk if Liza was threatening to drive.
"Not haunted." He corrected, carefully moving some of the recording equipment out of his leg space.

Successor of Hera | Loc: Manhattan -> Staten Island Bar | Tags: Open

It had been perhaps ten minutes since her car was damaged in the recent event of her... Awakening? Was that what Hera had called it? She couldn't quite believe that she was a successor of one of the Greek Gods. The Queen of the Greek Gods, at that. It certainly made a few things in her life make sense. Was that why her marriage counsellor career was successful? Speaking of, what was she meant to do with that now? She had clients booked in and other sessions to attend to. She supposed she could use the evidence of her car to claim she was in an accident and would have to take some time off work. How much time? She had no idea. This quest that she was supposed to be set on going on didn't seem to have a timeframe.

Calista took several photos of her car. Something in the back of her mind assured her that things would be taken care of, she just had to initiate. She wondered if her suggestion power that she seemed to have would work over text. She didn't really understand how it had worked in the first place, nor the telekinetic power. One thing at a time. In the morning, she would cancel appointments for the next few weeks, and arrange a leave of absence with the company she worked for.

She didn't want to go home just yet. What if there were more of those creatures and they followed her back home? Or if any of those... Titan successors, was it? If any of them were nearby and tracking her. She didn't want them to know where she lived as well as worked. Perhaps a hotel...

    Or...

Calista suddenly had a thought. Like she should go somewhere else. Intuition like a dowsing rod slowly started to guide her. She first retrieved her purse and coat from her car, before locking it up and leaving.
    Public transit it would be.

About an hour later, Calista touched down in Staten Island. At least it wasn't too far from home. Her intuition was telling her that there had to be at least one other successor here. Somewhere.

She walked until she found herself at a bar. It was crowded, to no surprise, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Why here..? She thought, with a slight frown. Calista wasn't much of a drinker, but she went over to the bar to sit, and see if she could figure out who she was here for.

He huffed a bit, but did so, putting his phone on speaker so that the other two could hear as well.
"911, what's your emergency?"
"There's a corpse in the middle of the road."
"What's your location?"
"In the woods, just east of Black Hollow."
Silence.

"Well either signal is abysmal here, or no one wants to know about Black Hollow." Colt commented. He had to admit, even just to himself, that it was incredibly odd. Almost as if something didn't want to draw attention even close to the town.
Some sense. Colt held the phone to his ear as the line rang. Once, twice...
"911, what is your emergency?"
"Hi, we think we may have hit a corpse in the middle of the road. The woods just outside Black Hollow-" the line cut off. Colt swore, and dialled again,
"911, what is your emergency?"
"Hi, I just got cut off a moment ago, we may have hit a corpse in the middle of the road."
"Oh I'm sorry, where is your location?"
"Just outside Black Hollow." The line dropped again.

"...Anyone have the number for the local police department?"
"No police? Seriously?" Colt asked. He was stood a few feet away, arms crossed, looking as though he'd been majorly inconvenienced by the stop. "Just when I thought something sensible was going to happen."
He looked at the arm from where he stood, phone light shining bright on it. He wasn't interested in getting close enough to touch it - cause of fingerprints, obviously - or to risk leaving any sort of accidental trace that might connect him to the body. Aside from being present in the van, but he wasn't the driver.
"It's possible he was already dead." Colt suggested. "It's her own fault she's an escaped convict." he tilted his head towards Liza, "She's lucky I've not turned her in already. Or we can leave it and roll into town with blood on the van, I'm sure that won't look suspicious at all."
He started to dial. If they wouldn't, then he would.
Hope you don't mind my sneaking in lol.
