I plan to start this role play relatively soon here, perhaps tonight or tomorrow. Since the first "day" in role play will be an evening before the actual events that still leaves a bit of time for anyone else would would like to join the role play. After the 30 days begins, I don't think I will accept anymore people unless you are already a monster transformed coming in.

Please note I'm a very active person so you can always come to me for questions, concerns, compliments, etc. I'm relatively harmless too- so if you have thoughts you'd like to share, please share them! I want this roleplay to be OUR creation, and I want us to have a good time with one another (:

Perhaps our non-bitten monster friends have a better chance to redeem themselves and even survive the 30 nights depending on their mental strength and the support of the group? If someone that turns into a monster is a recluse and lives alone their morale is going to be much worse than someone with a support team- making the change a bit faster and perhaps even more severe?

I think our original monster bitten characters should still remain at a basic rate of change, maybe like within a day. Just so that there are some hopeless cases. These occurrences would be however just for NPCS, People that have abandoned the roleplay, and by request of course (:

My mind is still debating things about this. First day in the roleplay is going to be 1 evening before the 30 days of darkness; giving people some time to get a feel for one another as well as for me to have time to keep figuring out things hahaha.

So far this is how I'm leaning.

Normal monsters: Mindless killing machines for sport and food.

Humans bitten by monsters: Relatively slow transformation- human at first, once changed mindless.

Humans that are 'flawed' monsters: Still debating. I'm not sure if I want to have it be that they are mindless or that they have full human conscience but everyone else seems them as a monster- as suggested; a silent hill type thing.

Humans vs Monsters completely I'm thinking.

Though I'm sure if a loved one becomes a monster you might have different thoughts.

I'm thinking that they will be like vampires yes, maybe some surprising things to make them unique to our story; perhaps even something like a wendigo? Might be interesting to explore. My thought would be that the people would be turning into one of these "vampire" like monsters by being bitten AND they can also turn into their own monster because of their characteristic flaws of sort.
