1. I think our characters should know one another at varying degrees. I can imagine that because they are going to the same preschool/daycare that they live around one another. Perhaps their parents have set up play dates etc. Maybe even some kids know one another better than others. I like your idea of having the thoughts of one another characters- perhaps that is something we can add.

Toni smirked, shaking her head of long dark brown curls from side to side. He knew he could get it if he wanted, but she liked to make him beg for it every once in awhile. Going back and forth between the counter and the tables, Antonia brought the man his meal, hot and ready to eat. "Let me know if you need anything!" she chirped, with a grunt in reply. "I will sweetheart, I so will." a dirty look came across his face and his eyes followed Toni as she walked away.
"Is that motha fucka over there bothering you, lil ma?" Zeke said, pointing at the man in the booth. "It's cool." Toni cooed, her painted red lips slipping into a smile, "So I was wondering if.." she started before she was interrupted by the ring of Zeke's cellphone. "Hold on ma, boss la-" Antonia didn't bother letting him finish before she tuned out and walked away to clear some tables. She hated being interrupted, no matter who was the person behind it. A pout formed on her face, "Ain't even let me finish.." she mumbled under her breath, piling plates and cups on top of her tray in a huff, making sure to make as much noise as she could doing it.

Taking another double shift was the least of Antonia's problems but she definitely had been feeling the exhaustion setting in. "I'll take..a number seven and your phone number sweet cheeks." one of the truckers cackled, as Antonia scribbled down his order. She raised her eyebrows, she usually would belittle the man, tell him to fuck right off back to the place he came from. "I'll take a cup of coffee too." the man added, and Antonia nodded. "Coming right up"
Turning on her heel she strolled around the counter and put the order up on the spinner. "Number 7." she called to the cook in the back. Spinning back around she met with a familiar handsome face sitting at the counter. It was Zeke, a highly respected member of Block 66. "Hey baby." Toni smiled, leaning over the counter. "Whatever you want, it's on the house from me. Alright?" she told him, taking off with the coffee pot in hand to go fill the cup of the eager truck driver.
