Clever. Idealistic. Lazy. Proud. Humorous.

Backstory:

Marion is the type of girl to steal borrow your jacket and try to sell it to you a week later. She's clever and crafty, making her a prime saleswoman at the pawn shop. Though she is young, she has a good understanding of how people work and isn't afraid to tell you exactly what she knows and how well she knows it. Unfortunately, to get this far, you have to get up and off your ass, something Mari often struggles with every morning.

It is not rare to find Mari cracking jokes or playing pranks on people during down time. Which in turn has caused many fights to break out. She isn't the best fighter, but she can wrestle with the best of them. Before the outbreak of the virus, Mari was in between a juvenile detention center and an alternative school in North Minneapolis, trying to get on the right track. She made her way to Kano with the group of kids from the juvenile center, but when things became overly violent and tense, she left the group and eventually found her way to her current sanction. She's thankful for their hospitality, even though she doesn't always show it.

These two got in plenty of trouble together as teenagers. They skipped class, and attended every party available to them- together. They drifted apart as they grew up and took their leave from high school, but the memories of the fun they had together still remains close in heart to Johanna.

"You're not too bad at dancing, for a white boy."
Not too close with one another, Dennis and Johanna have really no bad words or thoughts to say to one another. Since they both ended up back in North Carolina, Johanna extended her hand and invited him out to go drinking and dancing every once in awhile. He makes a good fake "date" when she needed to get out of the house and let loose every once in awhile.

As an old friend of her ex-husband, Johanna has some uneasy feelings when it comes to Rowan. She definitely can't blame him or even associate him with the things that happened, but since their is that little connection she can't help but feel a bit uncomfortable around him. Hopefully they can overcome this feeling one day.

These two don't have very much in common at all, and Johanna likes to tease him endlessly. She usually calls him a nerd, and mocks him playfully when she can. She doesn't mean it in a bullying way, but can often step over the line when she's feeling overly feisty or in the mood for some pointless drama.

"Just have a bite of this, it won't kill you!"
As if not having fast food was bad enough, John left and went to go be a fancy lawyer in New York. These two never really had much to talk about, and honestly Johanna thinks he has way too much going on in his life, so she doesn't feel stable with him. Hopefully one day they can find something they can bond over; but until then she will happily eat her french fries and milkshakes in front of him.

"You're just way too shy papi, I don't know you."
No real clue about what makes up Abel. Johanna does however think he has great clothing style, but that is about it. Oh! She also knows he's really into bugs and trees, which kind of is cool. Johanna secretly ships him with Jamison, as they both seem to be big old shy NERDS.

Johanna doesn't know too much about Wyatt besides the fact that she'd see him while she was ditching class with Leo. He seems to keep to himself for the most part, but the two don't have any bad vibes between one another.

Last seen posting on one another's facebook, twitter, instagram, and pintrest page, these two are always chatting the day and night away online when they can. The two get along very well, but when they are together they step on one another's toes and end up getting into fights. Thankfully they make up fairly quickly and are back to normal.

If something has been perfected, Raquel is usually the master behind it. Though Johanna admires that Raquel is a strong, independent woman who can defeat anything that comes her way- Johanna can't help but be a bit angry and albeit jealous of the girl's accomplishments and how easy it seems to come to her. They aren't very close, but aren't in bad terms.

Meeting through Leo, Johanna and Marisol got along almost instantly with one another. The two bond over delicious food, and often can be heard getting loud during conversations about what bullshit they've dealt with when it comes to men. Johanna won't admit it, but she kind of looks up to the older girl as a role model.

Silly partners in crime, Kenneisa makes Johanna do that exasperated laugh where your stomach hurts and your snort-crying. Johanna is always encouraging Ken to expand her horizons and try new things, even the not so good things. She feels most comfortable with Kenny and can be herself around her, the side she wouldn't dare show to everyone else. If anyone has a problem with Kenny, they have a problem with Johanna.

With Tatiana being an exchange student, it didn't give Johanna much time to get to know her during high school. They have very different personalities, but didn't have any problems with one another- until the last group meeting's huge fight. These two have issues with one another, and Johanna is not looking forward to seeing her again.
